 River coasted over the land a freshly dispatched mouse in his mouth. It was the kind that Lily liked most and he hunted the entire territory for her before finding her near one of the secluded streams. He was panting from running and laid the succulent mouse at her feet. "A gift for my beloved. It had your name all over it. A nice change from trout once in a while huh? Rare mouse." he grinned at his little joke. It was the rarest of rare ..being raw.

 Lilliana sat on the edge of a secluded stream than ran in her territory. She liked this area and it was really nice. She wondered if River would come here anytime or not. She missed spending so much time with him but now she was alpha and had a lot of responsibilities to take care of. She bat at the water to have some fun. She needed a bit of fun. She heard panting and caught his scent. It was sweet. She looked down at the mouse and smiled. She blushed at his words and batted at the fish on his coat. "Thank you dear. I love you. But I also love fish." She giggled at his joke and her own joke. "But yes a nice change."

He kinked his neck to look at his coat. "Well you can't eat these fish, but they do appreciate the love you always show them, its like you think they will swim away and I will be just a black fume with no neon to my name."
He hopped around her and dunked his head in the stream. "Ahh this one is always so cold, a blessing in this heat. Pity it wasn't closer to our den but then it wouldn't be our little place would it?"
He slithered up to his mate and twined about her like a cat greeting its human.

She laughed as she watche shim look at his own fur. She bat at it more and grinned then nipped at it when he said that. "Well why can't I eat them? They taste good. And yeah maybe I do worry that one day they will swim away. That would be sad if you lost the pretty neon colored fish. I like your fish they are so cute." She smirked and nuzzled him.
She giggled as she watched him duck his head under the water. He was so cute when he looked like that and she grinned as she looked at him. "That's true it it very amazing how good this water feels especially on a day as hot as today." She nodded. "Yeah I like that this is our spot and no one else's" she cntinied to watch him.
She snuggled close to him and purred as he twined around her. It felt really nice and she cuddled close to the cold water that dropped off of him.

River rolled his eyes, for his beloved alpha she was awfully silly. "I would be able to blend into stuff better though. All the better to pounce you," He smiled, okay so he was silly too.
He shook the water from his face all over her. "Yes, yes it does. I could just sit in it all day, but I fear I would get hungry and bored eventually."
"Me too, then we don't have to be all serious all the time."
He flicked his tail and tweaked her nose. "So which one of our girls do you thing Rainforest will fall for? Maddy, Feather or the new girl?"

Lilliana pouted when River rolled his eyes at her. She didn't think she had done anything to deserve an eye roll. "You might not blend in better here since most things are green and without your neon fish you're all black. So unless you are hiding in a shadow you won't be hiding that well. And I like your neon green fish." She nuzzled his cheek. Yeah he was so silly.
She let out a squeal when he shook the cold water off into her. "Hey that's cold. Go lay in the cold river if you want." She snorted. "Well if you get hungry I'm sure you could catch a fish."
"Yeah it is nice at times to just be able to relax and act silly."
She batted at his tail and then paws. "I have no clue but he seems to be a bit freaked out by you. Is there a reason for that? Who knows who Rainforest will go for. I sure don't know."

"Its probably the same reason that Feather is intimidated by me, really not much reason for it. I love her, and he is welcome as long as he doesn't leave a string of female hearts behind him. All I want is a safe and happy family."
He grinned, "I don't need fish! I have you!" He pounced her tail and came back up with it in his mouth, his eyes crinkled in a grin. "Om nom nom."
"So queenie, what say you we give the pack something to chase huh?"

Lilliana shook her head. "Feather's not afraid of you she's afraid you don't want her. So I don't think they are scared for the same reasons my dear." She grinned at him. She nodded. "Yeah that would be bad if he left broken hearts all around."
She tilted he head as he began to talk about not needing fish. She bat at him when he pounced and grabbed her tail. "Hey no that is not food. You want to eat my tail? Then I can't wrap it around you." She pouted at him.
She giggled and nuzzles him. "I'm a queen? That is very nice. And what do you want to get for the pack to chase?"
