Vampire Elder The air was filled with the smell of fading leather and old paper, the only noise was the sound of flipping pages off to the side. Hiding among the shelves stood a male, his hoodie pulled up over his head as he leaned against the wall with a book balanced in one of his hands in front of him. The head elder of the vampires sighed and shook his head, closing the contents of the novel and setting it on the shelve next to him. It was amazing how fast the younger generation forgot about the history of their race and dismissed the worst of it, calling it legends or saying how it could never happen. There was something about reading his own life in the words of another that made him almost doubt his own past for a second. But the pain and memories were too real, still fresh even as he had to force them down from time to time. No one believed that a turned vampire like himself had been so strong, powerful enough to wipe out an entire town just as a newborn. What they didn't understand that after someone has their family ripped away from them twice, it can make them go a little crazy and seek revenge on anything breathing. Even after all of that, he had still managed to become an elder and protect his own kind, something usually left to a pureblood. "How did you manage to get yourself into this one?" he asked out loud, glancing over at the door to make sure no one had entered as he spoke to himself like a crazy person.
Adrian shook his head and walked around the room, trying to clear his thoughts. He couldn't help but wonder how Sadie was doing as she got ready for camp, this was the first year the elders had allowed it to run an entire year instead of just for the summer. He had been on board with it the minute she had suggested it, it would be easier to keep these kids safe under Sadie's care instead of them being out in the world alone were rogues could get ahold of them and influence them. Some of the others had years to convince, they didn't like the idea of supporting the camp at all. Partially was because they didn't trust Sadie as much as he did, especially for Daliah who hated the fae's guts. Adrian moved towards the front of the library, pulling out a bottle of crimson liquid from his jacket. He slowly unscrewed the cap and took a large swig, letting the blood calm the gnawing hunger in his stomach temporarily. It seemed the longer he lived, he still wasn't able to drink less than he had when he was first turned. Back when he was human, he use to drink in order to forget about his fiancé, now he was forced to drink blood to stay alive. It was a cruel twist from fate, no matter what he did his life still revolved around some kind of bottle. Adrian shook his head and finished of it's contents. ▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅

Daliah had slipped inside the library silently while Adrian was browsing the shelves. She had not entered to disturb the vampire elder in the midst of his thoughts but, had crept inside with the hopes of gaining some understanding of this dark yet hopeful man whom she had grown to be quite curious of. Out of all the elders, Daliah expected Adrian to be the one she could relate closest too. She knew his path must have been carved from many years of anguish and bloodshed. It seemed the radiate off of him in a way that she admired. It followed but did not control who he was.
When he turned to look back at the door, she carefully maneuvered around one of the bookshelves. Staying out of sight, she peered closely as he made a bottle appear from his jacket. A sigh escaped her lips. She walked forward from where she stood and began to speak.
"Any chance that has a soothing quality to make this trip to the camp more tolerable?" she teased, hoping to get a laugh out of him. This was rare for the demon elder to do. She normally didn't meddle in others' thoughts.

Vampire Elder The scent of demon filled Adrian's nose as he lowered the bottle from his lips, Daliah's voice echoing through the once silent library. "It keeps me from eating the campers," he responded in an even voice, it was hard to tell if he was joking or not. His charcoal black eyes scanned the room for the demon elder even though he was already fairly sure he knew were she was hiding. It may have been a big library, but there were very few places for someone to disappear behind. It was strange for the woman to not make an entrance, she usually liked being the center of attention. Even though he knew Daliah didn't want to go to the camp for the first day of school, he had a feeling she wouldn't let anyone forget that she was there. The vampire walked towards one of the few chairs and took a seat, leaning back in it. The hits of his throwing knives pressed against the thin material of his black tshirt, the blades carefully tucked away in the belt wrapped around his middle and hidden in his jeans. "Come out of hiding," he said finally, taking a deep breath. He wasn't in the mood for her games, especially since he was going to have to deal with her hatefulness towards Sadie the entire time.
Since Adrian had become an elder, Daliah had always had this weird thing for him. She always seemed to be at his side whenever their were in the High Council, even when he was their without anyone's knowledge. He had a feeling that she somehow understand that he had a rough past, but he was never much of a "feelings" kind of guy. The only time he could ever remember telling anyone about what was really on his mind was when his fiancé and mother were still alive. His betrothed was the only person he told everything to, and the day she died was the day he almost completely shut the world out. That may have been why he had become an elder in the first place, because he had no family in this world that he had an obligation to. Slowly, Adrian turned in his chair and looked over at the shelves and searched for Daliah once more. "If not, I could just leave you in here." ▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅

Daliah walked up behind Adrian and let her wings fall almost like a blanket around them. Her long, leather-like wings rested softly in front of Adrian, as the demon elder stood so closely near. "Oh, now don't be rash!" she cooed in his ear. "No need to go making grand exits when you can stay a while...". She ran her fingers idly down his arms. The silence between them grew, allowing for the demon elder to pick up on other things. For example, she was able to pick up on his scent much better than ever before. Daliah could smell his natural scent mixing around him. His smell was unique and was sending Daliah's head to the clouds.
She let lose her hold on him with her wings and spun in front of him. Daliah felt rather daring, it having been the first time they were alone together in what seemed like an eternity, and pressed her hand to his face. She started into his eyes, seeing nothing but a deep dark pool of reflection in them. "Now that I've come out to play, will you leave me all alone?". Her facial expression changed to a mock frown yet held a glimmer in her eye.
As a closing Daliah leaned forward, still holding his face in her hand, and made the leap for a kiss with a vampire.

The heavens themselves brightened from a pale azure to gold; rays of sunlight streamed down and obscured the vision of any observers for miles around. Raphael flapped his wings twice - two large gusts that blew half the landscape backwards, and landed on the crest of a hill overlooking the camp. He had never been fond of Ascot's or what it represented, but he tolerated it because it was convenient to do so, and it was a temporary solution to keep all the races well behaved. His footsteps were heavy with the clink of metal, and though his sword was still sheathed, the Angel Elder looked as if he'd just walked off a battlefield. With firm steps, Raphael made his way over to the building, pushing open the heavy doors with a single hand, and proceeded to start taking off his armour, though he kept his sword about his person. Much as he would prefer to leave, he knew that the first day was always extremely busy, and most likely to have accidents or tomfoolery of the like. With a look of utter apathy, the Angel made his way quietly and much more quickly to the library. It was something of an unspoken agreement that it was the main room to socialize and make small talk in, though Raphael was far from interested in small talk.
The doors creaked open, revealing his presence to anyone who might be inside. Raphael smelt them before he cold see them - the stench of rot and blood and filth - two beings. The demon and the vampire, he'd wager. Out of the lot, he found them the least inclined to actually be serious, even less so than the fae woman. Even she had her moments of genius. And the witch woman was earnest, though not necessarily useful. His eyes were little chips of ice and his expression mostly cold, but for the tiny curl of his lip to mark his disgust for the two. Raphael gave a curt nod. "Yem. Silivasi." His tone was steely and inflectionless, with a tiny hint of contempt as he greeted the demoness.

"Daliaaaaaaaa..." The library resounded with the whisper, "Daliaaaaaa..." In truth, it had been nothing more than the sword thinking about its owner. It had a funny way of projecting its thoughts aloud, so that the barest whisper could be audible to anyone around. What it had been thinking about, was that glorious battle of ages past. It didn't remember the name - for it had no need to, but the day had been marked by a great fountaining of blood and Daliah victorious. It couldn't care less about Daliah and her victories, but there was something to be said about its wielder being quite proficient at what she did, and supplying it with a good deal of blood. It was one of the only reasons why a previously great demon of itself would chose to reside within the sword of another being, lesser than itself. "Ssssssilvassssssssssi. The lessssssssser vampire. The tuuuuuuuurned." Ghostly laughter echoed in the wake of the demon blade's words, but a glint on the pommel seemed to indicate faint approval. "Yessssssssss. He sssssseeeeekssssss blooooooood."

Vampire Elder The soft sounds of Daliah's footsteps let Adrian know that she was coming up behind him, but he made no effort to turn and look at her. It wasn't until he felt her leathery wings across his torso and her hot breath in his ear did he stop to register that staying still was a bad idea. He could feel her fingers through the leather of his jacket and he involuntarily moved to get away from her touch. The two had rarely been alone since he had become high council member, and every time that happened she managed to make it awkward for him. He wasn't sure what he had done to make her feel so drawn to him, he had politely rejected all of her advancements up to this point yet she still tried to stir feeling for her he would never have. He still belonged to Catarina even after all these years. Adrian relaxed slightly as the elder demon's wings slid off of his body, but tensed back up again as soon the two were facing each other. He looked up at her with intense black eyes, pressing against the back of his chair. "Play?" he asked in confusion. As she moved towards his face, Adrian jumped out of his chair in shock. "Ce naiba face?!*" he roared in anger.
The chair collapsed to the floor as he glared at Daliah, his thumb rubbing against the silver band resting on his left ring finger. A low, threatening growl echoed in his chest as he flashed his fangs at her. The only thing that kept him from snapping at her was hearing Raphael address the two of them. Adrian turned his head and glanced at the angel elder, trying to return his face to the neutrality it was before. "Addadon," he greeted in return, his voice just as cold as the other male's. Of course, he'd rather be in a room with the angel that hated him than the demon who couldn't respect his rejection of her. At least the holy b*****d wouldn't try to kiss him. A whisper caused him to freeze, it was like running nails down a chalkboard. "Ai defect bucată inutil de staniu!**" he growled at the sword. "I should drop you in a lake of holy water." It seemed that the more Daliah tried to chase after him, the more her sword aimed to irritate him and get under his skin. Where were the other elders? This was not his ideal way to start before visiting the first day of camp. ▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅ *What the hell are you doing? **You defective, useless piece of tin!

The sting of Adrian's reaction hit Daliah in the pit of her being. She felt rejection burn through her. Her mood only worsened when the blasted Angel arrived without so much as a proper hello. It was disturbingly notable that the two of them resented her. She was humiliated to say the least. Her pride was stronger though, and with it she chose to not show the effects of his rejection.
Her sword came in just in time. Daliah's expression changed to a sinister smile. She saw how annoyed Adrian was by her sword's cruelty. She laughed and rolled her eyes. "Threatening an object..." The demon reached for her beloved weapon with a shine in her eyes.
With a role of her eyes, Daliah stomped towards the exit. "Do send for me when we are to visit that pathetic fae and her... camp."

The pommel flashed red in the sword's anger. "Steel, actually," the whisper crept out of the tip and swirled around the room eerily, appearing to sound from directly behind the vampire, "pattern-welded and thrice-forged, quenched in the blood of your kin." The sword gave a grating, raspy, laugh. "Yessssssssssssss, yesssssssssssssssss. I remember my time in Romania well. Massive bloodshed. It was delicioussssssssssssssssssssssssss." More ghostly cackles emanated from the blade. It decided that however much the turned vampire disliked Daliah, it couldn't blame her for the being in the sword. It wasn't on one of Daliah's travels that he'd encountered vampires or Romanians, but its own. To be honest, it had no particular hatred towards vampires, but what was an existence without competing for blood with the thirstiest creatures of the night? It glinted dangerously at Adrian, daring him to say more.
"Angel," the voice rasped. If the blade had an eye, it would have blinked and stared at the being in front of it. "Is your blade possessed, too?" It shifted in Daliah's grasp, pointing its hilt at the angel. "Perhapssssssssss we should sssssssssspar sssssssssometime."

The Angel might have claimed to possess no trifling emotions, but he was more than capable of emulating humans and their expressions. Crossing the room with deliberate steps, he stared down at the vampire patronizingly, putting himself squarely between the other two Elders as a physical shield of sorts. His lips twisted into something of a smirk, but Raphael's expression was much too serene to be taken for something that could spark an argument. "How vulgar, Silivasi. That was distasteful, even for you." He refused to spare the vampire another look, and made his way leisurely towards the exit, where the other Elder was headed. His eyes locked onto target, and Raphael almost smiled. She was attractive, he had to give her that, temptingly so by human standards. Why begrudge himself this pleasure?
He easily caught up with her at the door. Putting an uncharacteristically gentle hand on Daliah's shoulder, the Angel's lips curled into a charming smile. "Now, Daliah, where are you going?" Raphael could be very persuasive when it suited him. His voice was warm and honeyed, with just a hint of teasing and danger under the surface. The Angel's hand curled a little more firmly around her arm, almost possessively so. He pointedly ignored the demon sword and leaned close to the demoness. "Forget Silivasi, he's no fun."

Vixen Nisha Vixen had been exploring the woods, for the most part of the day. Well she had been up since dusk, hunting for game. It hadn't been a very good hunt. She caught a few hares but nothing overly big. Making her way back into the high councils building. Up the front steps and through its brightly lit corridors. A three foot tan and black wolf, strolled through the halls. Her ear flickered to the sound of a few people conversing.. Very loudly, like she could pin point it was Adrian's the Vampire Elders voice and coming from the library. He was very loud, something must of been happening. Again. Grunting with a small growl. Vixen rolled her eyes, stretching out her paws turned to arms, hands, legs and feet. Her tail remained, her facial appearance changed her brown wolf eyes turned to sky blue. Her furry ears turned to that of less of a wolf's. Standing up straight, with her tail behind her. She left her "prize" on the side and luckily her clothes weren't overly badly ripped, this time. Vixen made her way over to the library.
Vixen peered into the open door of the library. Three people were already inside, Raphael the Angel Elder, Daliah the Demon Elder and there was indeed Adrian the Vampire. He looked miffed to say the least. Daliah wasn't overly pleased either. The only one that seemed reasonably calm was Raphael. "Hey guys.. What's.. going on~?" She asked looking between the three of them. A little unsure of what had been happening. The weapon was out. Vixen secretly hated that thing. It seemed teasing to everyone, including her or she was just being defensive. Making her way inside the room more, she gave a small smile to Daliah who was by the looks on it being comforted by Raphael. Quickly making her way over to Adrian so she could avoid the dam blade. Smiling at him warmly, he seemed agitated. "I caught some catch earlier.. they're out front if you need some feed before we go or something~" Looking to his hand, it was clenched holding a bottle he uses a lot for blood, it must of been recently. But he must of been distracted as it was still out. She whispered to him. "You okay handsome~?" She smiled to him. She touched his upper arm lightly, "Hey~ We will be going to the camp soon.." As she took her hand away she lightly tapped him, playfully. "So cheer up, or I will have to ask Sadie to cheer you up.." She winked at him. Then looked to the others, leaning on a table. Sensing there still may be some tension in the room. She stretched, feeling her discs pop back into place. Looking to Adrian and then back. "The next time we go to visit the camp, please.. Remind me how much of a bad an idea it is to go hunting on the morning we visit the camp..." Resting after her stretch, her tail wagged. At one point it accidentally tapped Adrian. Glancing to him, she noticed him with his hood up. Nudging at the fabric of his hood for a moment, long enough for him to notice but not to ridiculously long for him to be more annoyed by it. It was meant to be cutesy and sweet more than anything. She quickly jibbed at him. As another attempt of cheering him up. And sat back on the table, even if she was slightly resting on Adrian. Trying not to fall asleep, she waited for when the others would be ready to go.

Daliah tightened her grip on her sword as she felt it shift towards Raphael. Her shoulders tensed as the angel dared to place his hand upon them. She chewed down on her cheek, expecting to have to put him in his place the hard way. But, after putting his hand on her shoulder, the angel was confident enough to speak to her in a voice laced with warmth. She turned quickly, looking at him with eyes that questioned. She looked around the room at this time to find that another elder had emerged. Vixen had smiled in her direction before making her way over to Adrian. Daliah exhaled, angry brewing, at the way Vixen was comforting Adrian.
Her thoughts were interrupted once again by the spontaneous angel. She felt the curling of his fingers around her arm as he leaned closer to her. Judging by his body motion, Raphael was clearly unfazed by her sword and the power it held. What the hell is going on.
"Forget Silivasi, he's no fun." Seriously...is the angel comforting me? Why is he being so...forward?
Daliah placed her free hand over his curled. . She left it there for a moment as if to suggest that she was falling into whatever his motive was. Five seconds past before she flicked his hand off of her arm.
In this time she had overheard Vixen mentioning that blasted fae and that was about the last straw for today. Daliah's eyes lost all glimmer as they grew a dark shade of chimney gray. "I am going to rid myself of you all until it is time to leave," she replied slowly, pronoucing each word punch for punch.
The demon had just been publicly humilated by a turned vampire and now an angel, of all species, was trying to mess with her head. She was not about to fall victim to some flirtatious act, no matter how charming of a smile he had. She took a step forward towards the exit in order to seperate herself from the angel.

Vampire Elder It seemed that Adrian had been backed up into a corner, the sting of his rejection was obvious in Daliah's face, though she tried to play it off by mocking him as he snapped at the sword. Of course, Raphael's words never bothered him, he knew that the angel had a distaste for him due to what he was, not that he was too keen on the sfânt, auto-neprihănit înțepătură* either. He could hear the other male claim that he was no fun which wasn't an entire lie, but on the same note he had been rejecting the demon elder since she had first hit on him when he became elder and she still wouldn't back off. The vampire wrapped his hand around the cross hanging from his mother's rosary and brought it to his lips, kissing the cold metal softly. Back when he was human, he use to practice the Catholic faith, but now he wasn't sure if their was a place in heaven for the damned like him. Still, the jester seemed to comfort him, even just for a little bit. The comment about the blood of those from his homeland from the lama corupt** seemed to piss him off again though, his usually black eyes beginning to glow crimson. Adrian gripped the empty bottle in his hand, clenching it until it nearly snapped in half. Before he could react once more, Vixen stepped inside the library to break some of the tension.
At the werewolf elder's first question, Adrian remained silently. He was never the best conversationalist, especially when he was angry and thirsty again. As she made her way towards him, the vampire looked forward at nothing in particular, trying to keep from descending into a psychopathic rage. It wasn't until she had spoken and touched his arm lightly did he finally acknowledge her, giving her a forced half smile. Vixen was probably the elder he got along with best, mostly because she rarely pushed him and understood that he had limits. The two could be considered friends by Adrian's standards, since she was one of the few people he allowed to touch him without pushing them away. "I'm fine," he said after a few seconds of silence, turning his full attention towards her. "I'll take you up on that catch before we leave." The pain in his stomach had gone from annoying to aggravating, and though he preferred fresh human blood he didn't mind settling for the animals Vixen occasionally brought him. She seemed to be getting comfortable after switching out of her animal form, her tail was still wagging behind her and managed to tap his leg. "I will remind you fata mea frumoasă lup***, I can hear your bones popping from a recent change," he commented, gently swatting her hand away from his hood with a gentle smile. He vaguely heard Daliah announce her leave, though he paid no mind as Vixen sat on the table and leaned against him slightly. He probably could have fallen for her if he wasn't still in love with his deceased fiancé, but he enjoyed her friendship and would never bring it to her attention. ▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅ *holy, self righteous p***k **corrupted blade ***my lovely wolf girl

 [Enter] Rosetta Amaretto
Rosetta had spent most of the morning getting ready, she had looked through all of her clothing, as one point she was wearing a miniskirt and a button up shirt, but it made her look to much like a school girl for her liking. She had tried short dressed, net like dressed and all sorts of things, but as it goes, most of Rosetta's clothing was a little... less formal, than they should have been. But thankfully, she still had a few ceremonial robes that she could wear. Even if they did need some magical alterations here and there. After laying out the clothing, and her carry all for the trip, she had fallen asleep in the bath tub. This happens from time to time, she likes the warms. But after now waking up and getting dressed, she was on her way to try and find some of the other elders before they make their way to the camp. She had almost forgotten that it was today.
Making her way to the library, Rosetta was not aware of the situations developments within. She had no idea who was there, who was annoyed and who was being nice to one another. As she entered the library quietly, she heard the end of a conversation, 'until it is time to leave', it sounded like Daliah, she didn't sound very happy but then, Daliah seemed to always have something to be angry about. "Hello Daliah~" Rosetta said giving her a kind smile as she entered the room, coming face to face with her for a moment. "Your hair looks really nice, so shiny and full of life!" she said as she raised her hand, she stopped herself from touching the demons hair and just held her hand against her own chest for a moment, waiting to see if Daliah had anything to say, or if she was just going to continue on what Rosetta thought was her way out.
