~first entry~
Username: SwordOfTheDarkOnes Alpha name: Swiftrose Wildfang Where does he live: Swift grew up in the mountains, but traveled down towards this amazing waterfall where he spends most of his time relaxing at now that he's older. He will go back to the empty dens where he grew up, but he will travel to the waterfall on occasion when the memories get too much. What is this guys story: Swift was the runt of his Mother's third litter. He had two elder siblings who both went off to join other packs. His father was a strong male, so was his Father's Beta. What little did Swift know was of the inner conflicts that his eldest brother was stirring. The headstrong male wanted the pack to take a more assertive stand with the other packs around them, instead of the peaceful stand their Father worked so hard for. Swift was still a mere kip when his Mother whisked him, his siblings and other kips away as fighting started. The females and even a few males, kept the kips by the same waterfall Swift travels to now.
The male sat on a rock overlooking the waterfall, his mind trapped in the past as he recalled the night everything changed. It was a storm. His Mother and the other caretakers were talking about how the fights were escalating. Becoming more dangerous for the Kips to remain. Swift shivered regardless of his self control. His Mother said she would be right back, she had to check on the males. Swift remembered following her...he yipped for her. She never heard him over the storm....he got knocked back into another caretaker. Who took him back. Then...they got the worse news. The fight took a turn for the worse and another pack interfered. But...the damage was done. His Father was dead, his Mother went missing in the storm. His elder brother was dead as well, the usurper. The Beta took over as acting Alpha till another would take his Father's place. No one could. Soon, the pack broke apart slowly. He grew up and watched distraught as everyone left him. Swift looked up to the sky. He was the last member of the Wildfang's.
He made it his goal to bring them back. With that in mind, he stood shaking his long fur out before making the trek back to the empty Dens. The Dens he kept clean just in case there were to be kips in them again. He looked upon his home. And knew one thing...He would become the Alpha his Father was. He would...
He just had to.

Username: jinxgirl5 Alpha name: Ghostsong Where does he live: His old home is among a pine forest and rolling hills interspersed with mountains. He left that territory behind, but still wanders through the pine forests and mountains, heading north. Whether he will eventually stop and settle remains to be seen. What is this guys story: Before he was Ghostsong, his name was Wolfsong. Wolfsong was the leader of a proud and resilient pack. They weathered many hardships and celebrated many triumphs, and under Wolfsong's leadership they flourished. Though he never took a mate he considered himself a father, both of his pack and specifically to a young female the pack had found in their territory, parents dead and newly emerged from her incense container, whom he named Wildrose. Wildrose grew up strong and beautiful, and Wolfsong couldn't be prouder. It seemed like he would live out his life in such a fashion, leading his pack until it was time for him to step down for the next generation and, eventually, returning to the earth that held the bones of his father and those who came before him. But it was not to be.
On a cool autumn evening, humans invaded the pack territory. They came in a large metal beast that flew in the sky and created a storm-like wind with it's strange wings. The pack fled for the safety of the trees where the metal beast might not follow them, but Wolfsong, guarding their backs, was stung by something flung from the metal beast, and collapsed. When he woke he was not with his pack, or even in his forest home. He was in a strange place of cold metal and sharp smells, and humans who jabbered in their odd language and stared at him with intense interest. How long he stayed there, Wolfsong does not know. Then came a day that the humans put him into a deep sleep, and when he awoke he was back in his home, as though it was all a bad dream. Wolfsong fled back into the forests and started the search for his pack. He caught their scent and traveled a full day and night. At the end of a journey was a hill, his pack somewhere on the other side. He started to climb, but stopped.
At the top of the hill was Wildrose, but not the Wildrose he remembered. She wore the form of an Alpha. With her was a male, one he did not remember being of the pack, and it was clear there was something between the two. As he watched Wildrose lifted her head and howled to the sky, and below the song of the pack joined with her voice. They were happy. And suddenly, Wolfsong could not continue forward. He could not bring himself to take leadership away from Wildrose, not when they were doing so well under her command, for there could not be two Alphas. And he was not as he once. For their sake, he could not return.
And so he turn and faded into the night, wandering far from his old home to new lands. He changed his name to Ghostsong, for Wolfsong was no more. To this day he wanders still, solemn at his lose and wondering if he will ever again lead a pack.
