To Whom It May Concern,
Listen here. First and foremost, let me introduce myself... I am Daliah Yemen and I am the elder of our kind. If you haven't met me yet... you surely will. I'll let you decide the terms in which we shall meet. I have been asked to summon up words of encouragement and expectation for the demons who attend this camp. Regarding the request from Miss Sadie Pond I would like to say a few things.
1.)Chances are I've already been to your village, your city, your town of upbringing... and if I have... I have restored or begun to settle issues within; our own boundaries... That being said, do not under any circumstances screw up so badly that I must stop my parade of saving our asses in order to scold you for being a bad little camper. There are much stronger forces at work and bigger angels to fry (metaphorically of course...).
2.) We are one; Darklings, Elementals, Hybrids... we all have the same core. We look out for our own. Learn that. Protect each other. Stand by one another. Embrace your abilities. As demons you are all extraordinary and glorious in many ways. Even though you come from different breeds know Acknowledge your skills, allow yourself to learn from one another, and above all, never push yourself into Aftermath. And for all of those who fall under my watch but are not demons, fear not... I am still your mentor. Ghosts, gouls, what have you, the same rules apply.
3.) Be young. This camp is currently the ONLY safe place for all of the races to interact. Enjoy that. Your camp leader, Miss Pond has put in great effort to keep this oasis running for you all. Have fun and allow yourself to experience all that Ascot's can offer you during your summer there.
