Harthwin Kenmasutā

Harthwin had been bored waiting for his last team this whole time and decided to leave on the mission without them. Using the manriki at the end of his sword to swing from one end to another, Harthwin zoomed through the forest's tree branches to get this game done and over with. He'd been in the forest for some time now and ran into a few teams, like his sister's team, and meet a few interesting people along the way but that didn't really matter much to him. Harthwin's mind was set on reaching his goal and getting into the academy along with his sister, an team or not he was going to see this mission through. But while in mid way of finally getting to where his mission had first told him to go Harthwin was stopped by a surprising and very irritating message. "No way, they're assigning me a new team right now? That explains why my last team didn't show up, but did they have to change the mission too? I was so close to getting it done all by myself." Harthwin growled with anger as he clicked a bottom near the buttcup, or bottom, of his sword to retract the weighted chain back into its place and then slowly made his way down the tree. After spending so much energy swing all day long only to find out it had been for nothing Harthwin decided he'd take it easy for now and just walk to his new mission location; and hopefully this would give all his new team members a chance to catch up to him as he walked deeper and deeper into the forest.

Felis had dragged Seyrn along with him in his excitement about halfway before it dawned on him he had been incredibly rude in doing so. "I'm sorry..." He had stopped to apologize, ears flat to his head as he moved his tail around between them. Her tray having been carried off by him when they hurried off, the sandwich she had been eating still sitting upon it. "...but I brought your food..." He gave her a light smile, but quickly lowered his head a bit as he waited for acceptance of his apology.

He did however, slowly walk towards their ultimate destination, the cliffs to be launched out into the forest below. As they moved, he was observing their surroundings, in particular, listening to the sounds of anything that might be a threat or a comrade. Yet even as he did this, he lifted his hand and rubbed his head gently with the side of his hand, unassumingly rubbing an itch. "There's a notice that one of our team members are already in the forest..should we wait for the third or launch now so they're not alone down there?" He asked as they neared the pads where they were to be launched off, peering over the cliff edge to see just how far down it was. "Wow...I've climbed a lot of trees and houses...but this is reaaaally high up..." He let out a soft "meep" of surprise as he nearly slipped off. "Nyaaa....close...."

He sits down on the edge, waiting for a decision, or for the third person to show, in the meantime he clearly begins pondering something. "...I know how I'm going to land... Do you have a way? Oooh some sort of acrobatic awesomeness?" He grins, pulling out a can of tuna he had pilfered from the dining room, setting it down upon the ground and used his boot to buckle the can's sides allowing him to open it. Taking to eating it from the can with his fingers as he continued to peer over the edge at the trees below.

Seryn had no idea how Felis managed to balance her tray and drag her along all the way to the cliffs. She blinked at the sight of all the trees and cliffs. However, the height of the cliffs didn't bother her. It was the open sky and area. She paused and noticed how Felis was worried again. "Oh, no.. It's ok." she was about to say when Felis showed that he had her sandwich. Guilt tugged in her feelings. "Ah, you didn't have to. But thank you." she added quickly hoping to ease the tension. She took the tray from Felis and decided she might as well try to finish the sandwich now.

She nibbled on her sandwich as she looked over the forest with Felis. So one of their team mates were already in the forest? Seryn was then concerned. What if they needed help? What if they already found the relic and are just waiting for the rest of them? What if they were lost and the Grimm were there? She swallowed the last quarter of her sandwich with chewing much of it. Despite the lumpy feeling in her throat from the sandwich, her concern for one of their teammates came first. "You could go first if you want and I could wait for the last member." she offered. She tilted her head when Felis commented about the edge of the cluffs. It really was high, wasn't it? "Then don't get close to the edge?" she asked with a nervous laugh. WAY too close for her liking. Then again, Seryn was really near the trees away from the edge. The sky was just too open!

"I still haven't thought of it..." she confessed to Felis's question. Seryn scratched her head at the idea of landing. To be honest, she was more of the 'on the go' person. As far as she knew, the only thing she planned so far was how to get through the forest and now well.. into the forest. Seryn shuffled closer to where the launch pads were. She had no idea how they worked. Were they automatic? Or are they timed? Without replying to Felis's question for a second, she stood on the launching pad. She had a funny feeling. It was like she could go anywhere on this launching pad. This really is it! Her initiation. "Hey, Felis. What do you think-!" Suddenly, the launching pad was true to its word. She was launched according to the machine's terms. In this case, now. She gasped as the technology threw her into the air. "WAH!!"

Truly, Seryn wished she was a bit more prepared. However, as the wind rushed her hair into her face, sheer panic came across her mind. She had to figure out how to land NOW. Seryn twisted herself in the air and saw the trees coming closer. Great, either die by a tree or heights. Suddenly, or rather finally, she recalled her weapon: Mata 'Tekan. She unlocked the dart side and launched it forward as much as possible. The dart then spat forward similar to how a snake lashes forward in attempt to attack a prey. The dart met with the brank of a tree. However, Seryn was still going rather quickly due to the speed of gravity and so on. She could only help her weight could slow her down. Seryn bit her lip as she was going right towards the ground. Seryn pulled the dart as hard as she could. The sudden force of tension pulled her closer to where the dart was, thus slowing her down. As she continued to pull, her speed grew slower until finally she was about running speed and still a good 4 meters away. Seryn tensed her fist, forced the dart to retreat the string back to its spool accordingly. Seryn landed on a lower branch of the target one shakily as she technically just fell from what seemed like forever. Seryn looked up before shouting to nobody in particular, "I MADE IT!"

Seryn then promptly sat on the branch to steady her breath from the dreadful launch. Never again will she go on strange technological inventions! She stood up again and looked through the trees on her branch. Guess she had to go find the fourth member.. Who was that again? Well, Felis was probably still on the cliffs. Guess she'll just have to hope she runs into the member in the forest. Shouting won't be able to much + it would attract the Grimm. However, she did recall profile photos of the other to members. One with an interesting headdress and the with a long green scarf. That narrows it down.. hopefully. she thought. Without further ado, she leaped to the next nearby branch, the one after and so on. She rather get a scope of the forest floor and avoid possible Grimm creatures that preferred the ground. Where could this person be?

☆彡 O.O.C: If it's ok, I'll just go into the forest to avoid any more waiting. Best of luck everyone~ PS. From now on, I'll have a TL; DR in case you don't want to read my posts that much. ^_^
☆彡 TL; DR: Seryn feels guilty and suggests that she'll wait while Felis can go into the forest. She accidentally launches herself into the forest and survives with last minute thinking. She then goes through the forest in the trees in hopes to find Harthwin in case if he's in trouble.

Felis gently shook his head, refusing to leave without her. After all, the four of them may be a team yes, but she was the only one he actually knew. Even if the idea crossed his mind to accept her offer, he shook his head a bit more and sighed. "No no, we'll both wait." He smiled as he looked back to her, hearing her lack of a plan he sighed softly. "Nyaa...you should have a plan..." He said softly as he looked back over the edge, thinking on what she could do given what he knew about her. Even if it really wasn't all that much just yet, he knew one of her semblances and her weapon, it dawned on him that he never really delved into asking her past. Then again, such a thought process would completely fall out of character for him given his aloof nature.

However, as she was speaking to him again he heard her cry as she was launched out into the forest. "SERYN!" He shouted, springing up to his feet and dashed over to the next platform. Intentionally dropping his scroll to show a sign to the final person that someone had already launched into the forest. With that he slipped his hands into the scarf and knelt down. Bringing his arms close to his body as he was launched up into the air, his eyes trying to locate the direction Seryn had fallen. His ears pointed back, his tail slipping out of his loops and darted back from his waist as if to help steer him.

A few moments later he stretched his arms out and twisted his body, his boosters igniting and propelling himself up higher as he spun. Reaching incredible heights as if the boosters were incredibly powerful, or if something else had aided his ascent. The forward momentum slowing down as he reached maximum height, with that he flipped over himself and started to fall to the ground below, spinning on the way down and accelerating tremendously. It was mere seconds before a black "missle" struck the ground in a direction that he believed Seryn had gone, a large dust cloud bellowing out from the impact site. As the dust cleared, Felis stood upright, having landed feet first, a crater beneath his feet from the impact. "SERYN!" He called out again, lacking concern that his shouting might alert the Grimm, let alone the sound of earthshaking impact. His legs trembling as his body recovered from the shock of the sudden stop. "Where are you...I thought you went over here..." He said after, looking around, his ears flattening as he became upset with himself for not reacting fast enough. He moves to step out of the crater but staggers, placing his hand on his knee as he winced. "Okay...not yet..." He muttered, rubbing his leg as he remained on alert, listening for Seryn, their allies, or worse, a Grimm. His aura regenerating the damage which had occurred from his landing. ((The boots absorbed all of the force of the impact, but his body still stopped abruptly, the shock of it likely would have caused the muscles to abruptly tense up and cause damage of some sort.))

((OC: Hehe wee~ Lets get this party started~ ^^ And pffft to the short form, I hereby demand everyone reads Axuqa's posts!!! teehee ^^))

Harthwin Kenmasutā

Harthwin sat there, a top the branches high in the tree, whilst he continued to wait for some signs of his teammates or of some living thing to cross his path. He didn't see anything, after waiting however long he did, and soon decided that sitting around for his teammates to eventually find him was going to be a waste of time. With that in mind Harthwin got up, dusted himself off, and began to swing himself from tree branch to tree branch with the help of his sword's useful manriki. Things seemed peaceful for a time, even the Grimm down below didn't seem to mind Harthwin flying high overhead, that was until the earth bellow ached and groaned with a shake and a tremble. The sudden earthquake wasn't very harsh but enough to notice and shake Harthwin's manriki loos enough to send him falling. Harthwin carefully recovered from the fall by stabbing his blade into a nearby tree trunk and grated to a stop. Though when his boots stopped onto the dirt the three passive Ursa turned around to aggressively ruffle their fur with beastly shakes of their snarling snout.

The three Ursa began taking steps towards Harthwin but he quickly held his blade tightly and released five sudden burst of spectral energy. These burst would have no color, no image, and no other senses that could leave a trace other then this feeling of a pivotal pull of fate coming forth where this burst of aura was at. This was the power of Harthwin's aura, this was his Aura Misdirection. The three Ursa stopped dead in their tracks as what seemed to be like an easy stroll for a meal now felt like they had just lightly pressed on a landmine. Should they approach Harthwin? Should they run away? While the Ursa grunted among each other Harthwin stood at the ready with a tight grip on Muramasa, in its sword form, and a sturdy stance. Harthwin began taking steps back so he could possibly run away but just at the same moment he made a run for it the three Ursa did the same; and a grin swiped across the hunters face. With Harthwin now free of any competitors he chuckled to himself thinking, "Why waste ammo or time when you don't have to."

The thought of his sister, Iris, kept passing in his mind while passing thought the woodsy and lush forest. Harthwin worried what if he didn't get accept into the academy and what could happen to her. Would she be an outcast? Would she make friends she could trust? Would he have to beat up some bullies? His sapphire eyes reflected the time of day and with a crow's shadow darting by Harthwin shook his head of such thoughts only focused on running; hoping that his amplified aura would bring them to him or he find them.

Conner scrubbed his face as he made his way back up the cliff towards the launch pad stretching his neck and shoulders while rubbing his hands together. a somewhat melancholy cloud seemed to hang over the normally jolly guard turned huntsmen's head. though when he found that his feet had lead him back to the launchpads, he straightened his shoulders and moved to one that stood ready feeling his usual grin return to his face. nodding to one of the professors who had assigned him a new test, he quipped "Second times th' charm eh?" before being launched up and out back in to the woods.

Conner enjoyed the trip his second time around, flying through the air without aid of a dustplane or other apparatus was an interesting experience but as the trees rose up to meet his first inclination was to burst through the trees and land hard and fast like his first deployment but in doing so he would be broadcasting his position to any who decided to follow the wreckage... he began to revise his landing strategy.

Drawing his sword, he waited until the precise moment when a tree approached before burying the blade in its trunk and held on for dear life as his momentum whipped him around and down the trunk feeling his blade come free, Conner tucked his whole body up and rolled along the ground bleeding off more speed before extending his limbs and coming to a stop in a crouch.
not my best landing but no broken path of trees to follow this time. he thought with some satisfaction before looking up and taking stock of his surroundings once again. a new area of the forrest this time... still as beautiful as the first... shaking his head, the huntsman in training focused on the task at hand. three teamates and my own carcass out in the woods looking for each other and the relics o' old... beter get a move on...

Seryn leaped through the trees nimbly, turning her head frequently back and forth. Unsurprisingly, it was fairly quiet where she was, mostly because she ended up landing at point blank. Seryn paused to think for a moment. It is more than likely the first member who came to this Forest would be looking for the temple right? The Cobra faunus nodded to herself before looking up to the top of the trees. Perhaps if she climbed to the top, she could find where the temple could be. Seryn looked at the tree trunk before deciding to leap onto the higher branches.

Several seconds passed when Seryn was not balancing perilously on the top of her tree just barely above the tree line. The scenery seems fairly repetitive and similar. Seryn turned slightly and saw in the far distance the cliffs where she was earlier. It was so far away now, shrouded with mist to the point that one couldn't see anything but the stone. What a huge distance she traveled with just that launching pad! Seryn twisted to turn away from the cliffs and peered through the forest. In the distance, the land seemed to slope downward like a hill. Perhaps that might be where the temple was? Seryn climbed down from the tree, not hearing the sound of more arrivals within in the trees. Moving on, she decided to stay in the branches; She wanted to avoid any Grimm if possible and preferred the sense of watching. Hopefully, Felis met the last team member and might be entering the forest now! She shook her head before leaping away once again through the trees.

Suddenly, Seryn nearly fell off her tree when the ground seemed to shake. The Faunus gasped and nearly slipped off a branch. An earthquake?! she thought. Seryn then leaned against the branch, wrapped her arms and legs around it for dear life. She heard of many horror stories of the ground splitting open wide from earthquakes. Oh, let that not happen here! As the shaking stopped, Seryn shakily stood up pondering at the strange happening. That earthquake would definitely alarm anything around here. Especially if they were- Speak of the devil. Seryn heard distance growls from the corner of her hearing. By instinct, Seryn leaped through the trees towards the source. Someone may need help! She paused to where a male Hunter was facing three Ursas. The Faunus gasped and pulled her dart from her gloves. However, he miraculously seemed to take care of Ursa using something. Was it his semblance? Did he do something arouse fear in the Ursas? She never thought someone could face against three at once! Let alone, drive them away unscathed.

She stood wide-eyed in admiration and realized something: That person was the guy from the team roster! Ok, mostly because Seryn remembered the headdress. But on the more important note, What did Felis say his name was.. Harthwin? Seryn waited for a moment longer and leaped down from the trees near their roots. She stood a respectful distance away from the youth and in plain sight to avoid any alarm. Last time she leaped off of trees to greet someone ended up with a dead tree. "You're.. Harthwin, correct?" she asked fellow student.

Harthwin stopped, turned around, and gazed to the woman who had called him out by name. He took a moment to look at the girl, gauging her in his silent sapphire stare, and then smiled softly before giving a sure nod. "Yes I am. And you must be Seryn." Harthwin took steps to Seryn until he felt like they were close enough, about three feet away, and bowed politely to the lady. "You seem more confident in the face of a human than most other Faunus do. This is good. It reminds me of home. Harthwin's Sembalance suddenly flickered up more, like a fire getting a second wind, and the pull of his aura grew once again; and it's strange universal pull could be felt by every hunter with a huge area centering in on Harthwin. "So, Seryn, have you been able to meet Conner Redland or Felis Brogan?"

As Felis recovered from the impact, staggering out of the crater, his worry redoubled as he thought about the dangers of the forest. However, it wasn't actually a fear that Seryn would not be capable of defending herself, quite the contrary, but the fear she might she he left her behind. Even if she clearly had been launched prematurely and he had absolutely no means to stop it in the slightest, thus making his entire train of thought entirely redundant. Yet with this thought he straightened himself out and shouted out for Seryn, this time in a much deeper tone before he dropped down to all fours and ran through the forest. Weaving between trees with ease, bounding off the sides when there were tight clusters to propel himself ahead more quickly.

After a few minutes of running, he slid to a stop, spinning around on his hands and feet, his head turning to air as he sniffed about. "Serynn.....meanie...running off without me..." He muttered as his tail swatted the ground, his keen senses catching movement on his left as he swiveled about and took an aggressive stance. However as if he instinctively knew it wasn't a threat he sat up before a bunny bounded out from the bushes and stared at him. "Hello bunnyyyy! Do you know where Seryn went?!" He asked, as if truly expecting an answer from this adorable creature, which responded by cleaning it's ears unconcerned with Felis' presence. "She's a snake girl, well cobra, doesn't have a poison bite though... would be cool if she did! But she's really nice and kind, so it's fine that she doesn't!" He continued as he leaned towards the rabbit. After a few moments he nodded to himself and picked the bunny up, putting it beneath his scarf as he turned to sprint off again. "It's not safe here bunny! There's meanie-faces in this forest called Grimm!"

With the bunny in tow, be it approvingly or disapprovingly, Felis took off running again, looking for signs of Seryn. Just then he sensed something, a pull, almost forcing Felis' mind to immediately seek it out. While he hesitated at first, wondering if it were some sort of evil being, the thought arose that if he felt it, Seryn may as well. With that he started running again, his four legged run making excellent time before he approached the source.

A black blur burst out of the nearby bushes, the sound of growling or something similar could be heard as he barreled towards them in rapid fashion. In a flash the blur zipped past Harthwin and glomped Seryn, taking her down to the ground. The words "FOUND YOU!!!!" were shouted as he passed Harthwin and tackled Seryn. Apparently the fear of having lost her, and fear that she would be upset with him had shifted at some point to a game of hide and seek in his mind. Felis smiled as he held and nuzzled Seryn for a moment before he moved off her and sat there with his knuckles on the ground in front of him. "HAII!!!" He grinned brightly, ears askew as his tail twitched erratically, apparently having not even noticed this other person only a few feet away. After but a few moments, a bunny's head emerged from the the neck of his scarf, looking around confused yet comfortable.

Harthwin Kenmasutā

Just before Seryn would answer Harthwin a darkened image leapt out from the bushes and headed straight for Seryn. Harthwin reacted out of nature and was going to fully swing his blade at the black image but once he could see faunus features he drew his sword back as fast as he could and thought he'd pulled back before he could have cut one of his new teammates. "Hello there, FeIis! I see you and Seryn know each other already!" Harthwin happily pointed out as he simply look on at Felis Brogan hugging his friend Seryn.

As Harthwin had looked on a green scarf and a head of red hair caught his eyes off in the distance. It was another of their teammates calmly approaching them with sword in sheath and shield in hand. Harthwin was rather grateful this one came in walking rather than being like jumping Felis over by Seryn. Since Felis was having his time with Seryn, Harthwin thought to meet the red haired knight half way and bow respectfuly to him. "Welcome, Conner Redland! I am Harthwin Kenmasutā and thous two over there are Felis Brogan & Seryn Lyall."

Shortly after the introduction the impatient hunter stood in a spot all his fellow workmates could see him and then spoke, saying, "Now that we've got the pleasantries done with lets get back to mission at hand. The sun is only glowing dim the as we stand around and I don't plan on failing the entry exam." With that, and nothing more, Harthwin turned his back and began marching off towards the part of the forest he's already mapped out and was smiling as they would soon find themselves at the temple they all needed to find.

Seryn felt slightly uncomfortable the way Harthwin stared at her for a moment, as if analyzing her worth and skill. The cobra Faunus straightened her back and stood tall, hoping to put up a decent response. Her agitation and fear was slowly crawling since she hardly knew this person and.. The moment he bowed, Seryn blinked in surprise and took an unconscious step away from him. The amount of politeness and manners definitely over her head. As far as she knew, bowing to strangers was typically used for a lot of respect. Then again, Seryn was a fairly uncultured person.

She bowed back awkwardly, trying to understand what he said about her confidence compared to other Faunus. Sure, it was a compliment but that felt like a weird thing to say. Imagine saying that to a stranger. For example (and trying not to sound racist), "You seem more confident in the face of a Caucasian than most other non-Caucasian do." Seryn scratched the back of her head, deciding to roll with it. After all, she didn't want to pick a fight when there was a mission to be taken care of! "Well, I haven't met Connor yet but-!"

Seryn turned instinctively when she heard something coming from the shrubbery. She tensed when the wind blew in their direction also. Slowly opening her mouth, she breathed in the smell of the wind. There was a faint trace of Grim but something else.. Wait it was-! When Felis erupted from the bushes, Seryn stared and was promptly glomped by the cat Faunus with a "FOUND YOU!!!!" As she landed on the ground, Seryn regained her senses to not be like a stunned snake after getting attacked by a mongoose. She sat up and opened her mouth several times to breath. So that scent was Felis's! No wonder she couldn't really identify the scent. "Hi Felis. Are you ok?" she asked, noticing how he looked fairly out of it. Then, a sinking feeling came to her. "Wait, you didn't launch yourself without the forth member, did you?" Oh no, what if she screwed up again? What if the forth member was still up on the cliffs? What if-

Suddenly, she noticed that Harthwin seemed to call someone within the trees. Seryn glanced over and saw the figure of a red-haired swordsman who was really, really tall. She let out a sigh in relief, glad the forth member managed to arrive safely. When she was briefly introduced, she waved to Connor. Seryn slowly stood up and stretched her arms casually to stretch. Yup, she was the shortest of the group, unsurprisingly. Seryn then refocused her attention to Harthwin and slowly crossed her arms. The day hardly started and the sun is 'only glowing dim?' Seryn waited for a moment as he seemed to march ahead with his back turned. "Is he our leader or something?" she whispered to the other two males.

Seryn remained silent before shrugging to herself. "I'll be in the trees to get a better view if the temple is indeed that way." she called to Harthwin. She promptly went to the tree she leaped down from and climbed up with little difficulty. Once she was in the branches, she glanced down at the three other team members and onwards. They probably had a long way to go..

"And the point is?"

☆彡 O.O.C: TL; DR means 'Too long, didn't read.' Pretty much, it's the abridged version of my posts. It helps if someone falls behind in the RP or if someone hates my writing style and doesn't want to read the meat of it.
☆彡 TL; DR: Seryn gets slightly agitated and confused of Harthwin's first few words to her "You seem more confident in the face of a human than most other Faunus do," even though it was meant was a compliment. She tried to move on and greets Felis warmly despite his spontaneous appearance. She waves hello to Connor before listening again to Harthwin's declaration of moving on to the mission. She is slightly affronted by his step-in as a leader and questions it to Felis and Connor. She doesn't argue (though she wanted to) and decides to climb into the trees to get a better view of faraway.

Conner made his way quietly through the woods, his senses on alert for any sign of either human or grimm, the woods though were quiet and it gave Conner a moment to order his thoughts and prepare his next move. the move itself was a simple one, and it was to orient himself against a landmark. leaping up in to the branches of one of the trees and pulling himself up on to its strong branches, Connor came to a stop when the branches would no longer support his armored weight and braced himself to have a look around. In the distance he could make out what appeared to be stone pillars. Pulling out his scroll to confirm the teams objectives and area of operations, nodded once before stowing the piece of equipment. It would be a long walk but one could make it to the pillars and back to the cliffs again by the time the sun fell. grunting to no one in particular Conner dropped back to the ground and began to move through the trees. hand on the hilt of his sword and finger on the trigger of his shield.

Conners head snapped to the west when he felt a shiver run down his spine. someone had lit up there aura like a beacon. that indicated to him that there was either a fight or someone else had injured himself in landing and worse if he could tell the direction from that he would be willing to bet that the grimm were able to feel it too. cursing quietly, Conner took off at a dead sprint, plowing through underbrush and small saplings in his haste. his eyes narrowed when he caught sight of the dark shape of a Beowulf bounding in front of him. Raising his shield, Connor lined up his shot and pulled the trigger in his shields grip, and with a resounding boom of the surrounding air he watched with some satisfaction as a thick spike of metal left his shield and buried itself in the back of the grimm. leaping in to the air stomped viciously down on the back of the grimm, grinding it in to the dirt before combat rolling forward and continuing his run, his hands fitting another spike in to his shields driver with practiced ease.

as he drew closer to where he felt the aura flare, Conner slowed his sprint to a guarded walk and drew his blade. though he had to admit he was surprised as he cleared the woods and found not a fight, not an injured student, but the other members of his team gathered together and waiting on him. blinking several times when one who was dressed in rather ornate armor came up to him and introduced himself and issued orders about making there way towards the goal and not wanting to fail before marching off. feeling a bit stupid holding his sword when there was no immediate need, Conner sheathed his blade and looked over to the other two of there group, he recognized Felis from the group in the courtyard and raised his own hand in greeting to Seryn who was identified by process of elimination. plus it was only polite since she waved earlier.

chuckling at the question of if Harthwin was the leader " Well he is certainly 'tempting to make a strong push for his own candidacy. though t' might be best t' catch up with him since that Aura flare will attract all o' the grimm beasties for miles." moving to catch up with the others, Conner called out to Seryn " Ms. Lyall, if'n you look to th' north, I layed eyes on some pillars but was unable to get high enough to make out a temple for all i know they could be someone else's ruins. " resting his hand on his sword once more he continued forward, before moving to the side to take a guard position for there right flank casting a quick glance at the sword that Harthwin carried " So Harthwin boyo, i see that your a fellow student o' the blade, though yours looks a might more fancy tan mine, do you prefer close or ranged against the beasties and crawlies o' the world beyond the walls? I ask so that I dont get blown up or some other kind of nasty fate because I moved in to drop a foe when you pull the trigger on that. Same question to th' both of you Felis and Ms. Lyall."
