What is this Role Play about? I get it's about music, but can you give more detail please?
This Role Play is about a group of performers, who are at different stages of their lives, residing in the city of Tokyo, Japan. They're all connected through the fact that they each belong to the entertainment company known as LMC Agency. Now, this doesn't mean they all know each other, but they have an opportunity to meet.
Why such a vague plot? Won't that be boring?
The reason the plot is pretty vague is because I want to give the players as much creative freedom as possible. I don't think it'll get boring because each week there will be an event.
What do you mean by event? What'll they be like?
Each week something will happen to shake things up a bit. It could be a competition for the characters to enter into, a plot twist, etc. Just something to happen to keep people involved. They will be posted on the first page of this rp under "Events". I'll also make a post at the beginning and end of the event, tagging each rper.
Do characters only have to go to places on the location list?
Definitely not. The location list is just to help. If there is a shop or something that you want added, just put it in the "Other" section of the profile template.
What is required of the character layout when Role Playing?
Name, age, instrument (not required, but would be nice), location, companion, and an OOC part. It doesn't have to be pretty as long as it's neat. I can make a simple one, free of charge; just ask.
Can my character be related to another character?
As long as it's okay with the rper who owns the character, it's fine with me. PM them about it or PM and I'll discuss it with them.

◦Personality: Lane doesn't talk like to much about herself. Somehow always managing to keep the topic of conversation away from herself, she remains secretive and mysterious. Despite this being so, she enjoys being social and interacting with other people. She's friendly and thinks positively. Unfortunately, she's also rather naive and a bit sensitive, so she can take things a bit hard even if she doesn't show it. When she sets her mind to something or makes a goal, she works hard to complete it and isn't one to slack off. Lane can be a bit difficult to approach at times since her neutral expression is like one of a serial killer, but she's quick to return a smile when offered one. Rarely sarcastic or snarky, she's also a kind and sincere person. ◦Bio: Coming from a family of classical musicians, Lane started playing the piano at age five. Her mother, a singer and pianist, was her teacher and pushed her to be the best she could be. Her father, a violinist, attempted to teach her how to play the violin but after a few months of trying, he concluded that she was musically challenged in strings instruments. Sticking with the piano, she started using an electric keyboard and learned how to use a keytar to try out different genres and styles of music, much to her parents' dismay. They had been hoping for her to stick to classical music, but didn't force her to change her ways. Lane participated in her school's band in middle school and joined a friend's pop band in high school as a backup vocalist and keyboarder. After a few years, the band broke up due to the fact that a quite a few members had to go their own separate ways. That's when Lane started on her solo career singing pop and new age and soon she was singing for a certain entertainment company, LMC Agency. ◦Misc. ◦Personality: Haruna has an optimistic attitude towards life because she knows that while the world may be far from perfect, it won't get better with a lousy outlook. She's hard working in every aspect of her life, from work to relationships. Haru is a blunt person, for better or for worse, and will always speak honestly. With that in mind, she is a kind person. Haru isn't that forgiving, though, whether it involves mistakes from others or of herself. She has a strict attitude when it comes to her work, but rarely with anything else. She's loyal to a fault and likes to dote on her friends. She is a firm believer in equality. Haru is stubborn when it comes to what she believes, however she can accept the fact that other people's opinion may differ from hers, though hers will almost always remain the same. She is highly superstitious.
◦Bio: It was her second year in middle school that Haru truly began to take an interest in music. She was running an errand for a teacher and ended up in the music room because of it. After listening to a few notes sung by a few of the students, she took a seat in the back and promptly skipped the rest of her classes to list (though this wasn't her intent). The instrument that stuck out for her the most was the clarinet. The moment she got home, which was later than usual due to the fact that she got a rather long lecture from her teacher, she immediately asked her mom if she could take up the clarinet. Throughout the rest of her middle school years to this very day, she still plays the clarinet even though it's not for money.
When she entered high school is when she got into another instrument: the drums. A student from her class invited her to their house after school to listen to their band. She went with mild interest, but when they started playing, she wished she hadn't. They were horrible, almost painful, to listen to. But the small streak of light that shined through that awful moment was the beating of the drums. While it wasn't the best, it was enchanting to Haruna. So when she went home that night, she asked is she could take up the drums as well.
Almost after a year of playing the instrument, she joined a local band. A few months later, after a late night concert at one of the local bars, Haruna was scouted by an agent from LMC. She signed on immediately and was placed in a new alternative rock band called Lost in Time.
◦Misc. Info: Haru owns and drives a red motorcycle, which she named Home Base, or HB, for short. She has a doting older brother who also works for LMC. Her grandfather is the owner of LMC, though few know this.
