Well, I googled "Glaucus" and got this site:
http://www.online-mythology.com/glaucus_scylla/It seems fairly descriptive, but you pretty much already hit on all the main points that they do in your post... and it's pretty much the same as the information I found on wikipedia. I'll keep an eye out for more, but I don't know if there's much more information avaliable on this myth.
Only thing is, there seems to be some dissention as to whether it was the grass that transformed him, or the gods Tethys and Oceanus. That one URL I posted says that the grass made him long for the water so much that he forsook the land and jumped in to live there, then the afforementioned sea gods liked him and so they transformed him into a god (that being when he got the fins and all).
