Dear Professor,

Thank you again for the opportunity to come to Elovve despite my aversion to fusions. I won’t waste your time talking about myself and head straight into how my egg is doing. Abrielle has been doing alright. I have been carrying her around everywhere I go. She usually sits in the crook or my arm, or in my bag if I need both my arms. Don’t worry, she is very safe in my bag. I’ve emptied it for this purpose. She was pretty quiet for a while. I spent a lot of time telling her about my old pokemon in Johto and about the Legendary Gods. I didn’t think she could hear me until I told her about the time I got lost on Mt. Mortar. That was a terrible experience. I broke my foot while traversing the mountain. I sent my Togetic to get help, as she was the only pokemon with me that was strong enough to do something, and bunkered down. I started to complain about how hungry I was when something hit me in the head. I turned and it was an apple I purchased earlier. At first I wasn’t sure if it was Abrielle, but a couple of tests later revealed that she can use her telekinesis as an egg. Currently she only brings me things if I am complaining aloud and refuses when I directly ask. I started putting the egg to my forehead in hopes it will allow her to read my mind, but currently I just look like an idiot with an egg. I also noticed that Abrielle is very warm for an egg. In fact she’s so warm I’ve taken to keeping her in my bed at night. Not that I think of her as some kind of hot water bottle!! I am simply making sure she is safe. Is it because she is a fusion? Has this happened to any other eggs? I’m only asking because I am so concerned for Abrielle’s safety.

Right after I wrote that line my pokedex smacked me in the head. I opened it up and it read out the Ralts entry. Apparently the body of a Ralts warms when it feels warm emotions. Abrielle was probably warm from all of the attention I have been giving her. Not that it couldn’t be a part of her fusion, but maybe it’s not as dire as I thought. Oh, I wanna take back what I said about her telepathy. She has some form of it because I never mentioned her warmth aloud. She may have sensed my distress, but she knew enough to send the pokedex. Perhaps she can only hear my thoughts if I am really focused on them. I will conduct some more tests to see. I can only imagine how strong of a psychic she will be once she is a Gardevoir. Especially sense she is fused with a strong and violent pokemon. I look forward to her hatching.

Please consider what I said about the egg temperature.
