Man, if this was what life was like in the desert, she didn't envy Brenley one bit. Was the boil even around? She would have pestered him with questions . . . At least he probably felt at home. Hell, she hoped all of her friends and acquaintances were there because it would be totally sucky if she was there alone.
Piper missed the trees and her room and who the hell was putting her on coffee duty she was nobody's lackey Jack damn it ughhhhhhhhhhh. Intern? How embarassing, seriously. Seriously. Although then again, all stars had once come from meager beginnings . . . Man, she had hoped she could skip that part and straight into the adoring fans part.
Okay. Okay okay. It was just coffee, she could do this. Machien was running, aaaaaand--
First order up: blood and tea.
What. Ew. Ew. She eyed the customer with a completely judging look before sighing and getting to it. She didn't know a dang thing about tea and just grabbed the first packet she saw, letting it brew as she searched for a pack of blood in the. . . fridge . . . gross . . . She honestly didn't get how something warm and something cold would work together, but she mixed them up all the same.
The reaper looked pleased regardless? Piper was confused and disgusted and waved her off with a false smile.
THIS IS HALLOWEEN
