Giovanni did not want to go to a camp this year. He was avoiding everything he could including the orientation. The camp didnt seem bad it just wasnt his style. Most of the people here seemed to be lacking in the clothing department and it was very bland.

Gio played with the water using his hand to make rings over the lake that he would shoot random streams of water through. He tried to shoot to streams and have them hit causing the whole ring an all the rest to just blow up and make a crystal looking rain over the lake.

If there had been anything fun worth going to today maybe Gio would have gone, but for now using his magic was fine for him.

After a few minutes Gio stood up. "Guess I should at least locate the main building." he began to use both hands twisting and turning them in circular motions causing the water above the lake to form a giant bubble that he shot away from him. The moment he did it burst and sent a goo decent bit of water onto the other side.

He turned around and left the lake

Giovanni led Kateen to the Lake. He knew they planned on meeting there later but he wanted to show her that everyone has a dark side. "Well here we are" he said as he turned around and stretched his arms out wide as if presenting a surprise to the Angel.

He began walking towards the water and continued by going in knee deep. "Your probably wondering why I brought you here, no?" his smile disappeared and was replaced by a very serious stern look. "I'll bet you that you dont believe I could kill someone even if it is by accident. But let me ask you, what do you think of water? Is calm is not? And relaxing? Even peaceful do you agree?" he put his right hand into the water and pulled it back out. It seemed that the water spilling from his hand wasnt falling though. It actually seemed as if the water was flowing in a long stream from the lake itself up to Gio's hand. "But even water has a dark side. It can burn or drown and even crush given the right amount" he took his other hand appeared to draw water from the other one making a ball.

Once again he was walking towards her but this time looking as if he was angry. "Now I ask you again what do you think of water?" he spilled some of the water out of the ball making it roughly the size of a fist. Once he exited the water he threw it high above Kateen's head causing it to burst on a tree branch. Water drops seemed to rain down on her as Gio closed the rest of the distance between them. Now he was only inches away from her when he smiled again and whispered. "Me? I think water is fun" he turned around and started to laugh "I think water as a much worse bark than bite, I mean after all I think I am comparable to it" he took a step forward and turned to see the look on her face. He had to know, because he hoped she wouldn't be scared

After a few minutes of walking, the two arrived at the lake. Kateen looked out at the horizon and marveled at the way the water seemed to shine back at it. She looked at Gio with confusion. Didn't we all agree to meet up here tonight? Why did he bring me here now? Her confused expression remained as she watch him walk knee deep into the water. "Gio--" she called out, worried that he might freeze in the water. The temperature couldn't be too warm in lake water at night.

As Giovanni's gentle grin turned into a look that didn't suit him--a stern look-- Kateen listened intently. She took a step forward, trying to get a better look at him from where he was in the water. Water is... calm....rapid...and.... she thought. Her mouth parted, as shock mused over her face. Giovanni was controlling the water! Her bright, red eyes widened. She was mesmerized while watching the liquid flow into his hand and then form into a ball in his other hand.

He spoke of water in a dangerous sense, one that she had thought of when he asked her initially. As he approached her with an expression that read as anger, she was focused on the ball of water in his grasp.

She watched it fly from his hand to a distant tree branch, an act that caused her to turn slightly in order to see.

When the ball of water hit the tree, water rained down on Kateen. She broke out in a laughing fit as she got wet by the drops of water. She ran her hands through her hair, and squeezed the small amount of water out of it. "I think water is really wet," she laughed quietly.

Kateen looked up at Giovanni as he said what he thought of water and realized why he might of brought her here. Once he turned around, she stepped forward and placed her index finger in the middle of his chest. Kateen poked at his chest three times and teased, "Well, too be fair... I think water has a worse bark than you do."

She took a step back and shook off the remaining water droplets in his direction. Oddly enough, by his attempt to test her had lifted her mood.

Giovanni couldnt help but chuckle at her response. Of course water is wet he told himself before she approached him and tapped on his chest three times. His mouth fell a little ajar from her other response of water having a worse bark. Only for her to send drops of the liquid substance flying right at him. Now he laughed at her and then paused to look at her. So assuming she knows I have killed people there is no problem of one of us not knowing the others darker secrets.

He grabbed her hand "Come on!" he said as he pulled her to the water. He focused really hard to push the water away from them so that there was a tight circle surrounding them. The further they progressed into the water the more the circle turned into an oval untill they were completely surrounded by water on all sides and inside of a nice air bubble. Gio let to of her hand so that he could concentrate more on keeping the water back. He turned to face her sure they were now probably close to the center of the lake. "So what do you think?" he asked the Angel in front of him

The fallen angel looked down at her hand as Gio grabbed it. Before she could utter a word he was directing the two of them into the water. She winced, expecting the cold of the lake to cause goosebumps to form on her arms. Kateen closed both of her eyes and allowed herself to be pulled further into the lake by Giovanni.

She kept expecting water to splash up at her ankles, shins, knees... And nothing happened. The angel felt her hand being let go of, so she opened her eyes. she was surprised to find that they were almost towards the middle of the lake! And they weren't wet! how is this possible?!

"This is amazing!" She replied, spinning in a small circle in the oval of air that Gio had created. She could see the shore from where they were but it was rather tiny.

The angel took in the 360 degree view she now had of the lake. She could see its current flowing gently passed their bubble. The shimmer of the reflection of the sky was evident all throughout the lake. Kateen smiled at Gio. "It's beautiful..."

He wasn't trying to show it but now Gio was abit nervous himself. He hadnt realized it before but the bubble he had made was getting smaller. Not enough to truly notice by normal eyes but he could feel it. She thought it was beautiful down here and his mind raced. When was the last time he had been this code to a female? Even if she was of another race he couldnt help but admire someone who felt the same way about being underwater like this as he did. "Hey Kat?" what was he planning on saying. Gio couldnt figure out his own words before he spoke then for the first time in a long time. "Te sono bella" he spoke in his native tongue hoping to mask his nervousness behind a language he could speak openly.

She isnt afraid of the water Gio told himself. Before he knew it the bubble had really shrank and they were now in a much smaller compartment of air. There was barely any room to take a step back and turn around "I know its not much but I like finding my way down to the bottom of a river or lake like this. It relaxes me. So you think there is anything cool down here?"

Kateen was very much unaware of the shrinking air bubble. She was too dazzled by her surrounding. But then Giovanni spoke up. He had spoken in Italian instead of English. She noticed him switching between the two throughout the day. She found it exciting that someone she knew was fluent in both languages. She knew bits and pieces of the language so, she knew what he had just said. She chewed on the inside of her bottom lip, not sure how to reply to him because she was bad with accepting kind words. Even so, she was unable to refrain from smiling.

She got her distraction when a side of the bubble was now at her back. She looked around cautiously , realizing that the bubble had decreased in size significantly. She opened her mouth to talk but Gio was expressing how much he enjoyed being underwater and she almost couldn't bare to ruin his moment.

"I'm betting there's some amazing stuff down here. But, I think to really see it we would have to come back early in the morning , while the sun is high in the sky. It'll help us see what's hiding down here!"
she smiled towards Gio. Kateen remained calm and presented herself as being in a great mood. She was happy, that wasn't a lie, she was just a little worried. "Can we do that? I mean... Would you mind taking me back here?" she asked, putting on her best puppy dog pout. "Pleaseeeeeeee"

By this point, she had considered that if the bubble were to shrink much smaller, they'd have to swim to the surface. It would be a large distance but, she wasn't frightened. Maybe it was her mind being cluttered by other thoughts or maybe it was her confidence that they were going to be just fine. Whatever it was, she wasn't panicking.

She believed that if she could convince him to return another day, they wouldn't have to worry about the bubble getting too small. Kateen trusted that Gio could keep the bubble intact if they returned to the surface as soon as possible.

So she actually liked it down here? Not only that but she wanted to come back? Gio looked out and noticed it was starting to get a little dark. He figured they should head back up and get Kovan and Lillie before they started to wonder where they were. "I think we should start to head back up to pick up Kovan and Lillie. Dont forget but I do room with Kovan I am sure he has noticed me not being back yet." he started to walk back up but then stopped and turned around to face Kateen once again. "I can bring you down here anytime you want" he said with a smile before turning around and starting to walk to shore. "But itll cost you" he said as he turned his head and stuck the tip of his tongue out playfully with a wink. He just didnt want a whole lot of people knowing about this power. It was after all his favorite way to relax and it always managed to calm him.

She nodded in agreement that they should regroup with their friends. "Yeah, you're probably right.." She wondered what it would looked like if their friends realized they were gone for this long together. Would they think something of it?

"Hopefully he doesn't think you were up to no good," she taunted, wiggling her finger at him as she took a few steps to follow after him. The sky was getting a bit darker over the lake, something that was calming yet mischievous. Her eyebrow arched when he said it would cost her. "Yeah, yeah," she said, "So what'll it cost me?"

Once on the shore, her feet sunk slightly into the muddy sand around the shoreline. She made a little leap out of the wet sad and ran ahead of Gio, tapping him on the shoulder as she ran."Can't catch me---" She laughed as she began to take long, graceful strides before breaking into a jog.

Kovan Valdimar

The armored giant shrugged off tree branches as it made its slow trek towards the lake. The trees groaned in protest as Kovan seemed to nudge the trees out of his way. Not really knowing where his destination lies, but seemed to be set on that path. Maybe it was when Kovan was flying to the camp that he might have spotted certain landmarks. Maybe it was the conversation of including him at the lake. Maybe it was a place to hunt for game or even victims. With so many possibilities, Kovan could not come up with any solutions as his mind began to fog again. The images his eyes seen were swirls as he saw only darkness and green. He would occasionally spot a bright color, hinting at a lower, but never could tell as he let his dream wander.

Soon, the voices began to speak up once more. They died down as he entered the woods, but now they were agitated. The voices were garbled as they never could make sense, though he caught certain phrases and words. 'Hunter' 'Prey' 'Murder' and sometimes 'Beware' though the sentences could not be formed. Kovan's body seemed to ignore the cryptic message as he it continued to wander about the woods. Occasionally it would push a tree to the side, forcing the tree to forever hang to the side as its roots struggled to keep it upright.

It didn't take too long till the woods began to become more sparse that soon a clearing could be seen ahead. Kovan's strides began to increase as if he was getting excited from some unknown urge. With Kovan's mind still in the fog, he couldn't help but get this nagging feeling something was off. With the voices speaking once more, something was going to happen soon.

As the lumbering armored demon stepped out of the woods, and into the clearing, right next to the lake, it began to scan its surroundings, searching for its first prey. Though it could not see Giovanni or Kateen in sight, it felt like they would show up here eventually. Maybe remembering discussion of the lake, and wanted to lay a trap for the group. As the beast began to ponder on its next plan, a sudden loud crack could be heard behind it, only possible from a tree branch of such.

Turning immediately around, the giant's armor began to shift and ripple with the sudden movement as the visor of the helmet flared brightly with green fire. The eyes behind the fire began to scan thoroughly of the tree line, seeking the one responsibly for the noise. Eventually the eyes noticed a partial form hiding behind tree before it took a step towards the tree. Waiting quietly until he saw the intruder would not come out, it bellowed out a roar of a challenge. It then readied itself as it felt enraged that something or someone would dare follow him, and then hide from him. Waiting for the figure, it then saw it was no one he recognized. Even Kovan's conscious saw the blurry figure and could not make out who it was as he began to fade back into the dream. If only he could wake up.

OOC: Posts will be slow now until further notice. I quoted everyone to hear the roar once more. Also for those who might want to watch Blake get challenged.

Sorry Rosie and Gio. Waited a while, but you guys never continued. So I am on the opposite side of the lake from you guys. So you don't feel so threatened.

Blake, had noticed the path of the unknown armored titan almost instantly after he left the cabins. The tree line, only a few moments after walking along the dirt path, had been rearranged to prove them with another path! Well, if this armored creature was friendly they could certainly find a place for him here as a bulldozer. But then if he wasn't friendly... Blake was most likely going to be the first on the seen... and would have to fight said bulldozer. Now Blake was fairly tall, Six foot Two, and fairly built, forty four inch chest, but this creature must of been at least seven and a half feet tall and a good five foot wide... maybe bulldozer was the wrong word... tank seemed more fitting, but combat would confirm this... Taking a picture of the broken tree line he decided to have a little fun. Switching the camera to video, something he always found incredibly amazing, humans were good at adding lots of things into one automation. The fact the device was called a smart phone was still strange to him, he would of called it something along the lines of a Personal or Hand Held or Pocket Size Multi Media Device. But then he had little knowledge of the progress of phones and the like. Getting back on track, he liked the video recorder. Turning it to himself, he said "This is Blake Lazarus, Investigating the current supernatural activities at Ascots..." he continued to talk, commenting on the size of the creature that made this new path in the trees as he walked through it, taking a little time to show the damage on the trees and the foot prints in the dirt.

After getting through the pathway, enough to see the clearing to the lake, commenting about how the creature could be looking for a fresh water source, he spotted Koven, or at least in this form he had no idea it was Kovan. He had seen the man in human form, but this black armoured creature that seemed to have a core of green fire looked as far from human as a... well, Demon. Blake was not paying to much attention to his surroundings at this point. He had failed in his amateur beast hunting/watching by stepping on a branch... the weight of him broke it in half with a sudden and in no way quiet snap. Quickly jumping to the side and sticking the tip of his phone out from behind the tree to see the armoured creature. It had spotted him alright, and OH that was an angry roar, and one that resonated in Blake's mind... was he, yes, he was, he was being called out. Pulling the phone to him and now recording himself he said "Well, I'm in the s**t now aren't I?" ending the video with a wicked smile. Clicking she share button quickly, he listed down to Cleo and hit the send button. It may take a few minuets for him to receive the video, then a few more for him to get the gravity of the situation, at least ten minuets, if his connection was strong around here. Slipping the phone into his pocket Blake stood out of the leaning tree and walked to the center of the path, looking over to the creature, the green flames flickering from its visor gave Blake the impression it was rather annoyed.

Regardless of the intent of the creature, it was impressive to look at, beautiful in its own way. Blake had seen a lot of creatures, but none that seemed this similar to his interests and opinion of pleasing ascetics in the armor department. Standing there for a moment, the pair seemed to be staring each other out, Blake decided to break the silence "Hello! Let me be the first to say, Welcome to Ascots Camp!" with a slightly nervous and slightly manic smile on his face. (I'm assuming Koven shall be trying to kill Blake now, if this is wrong, ignore the rest of this post) As the creature seemed less than pleased with his welcoming, its movements towards him were a dead give away, Blake moved his right hand to his side for a moment as power began to surge form him, his right hand seemed to spark with a dark red glow, moving his hand out he fired three Bolts of Hellfire towards the giant before him, these bolts were not very powerful, painful though they would be, however nothing more than a flesh wound could come from these considering the size of the titan, although a normal person hit by one of these would experience something like a red hot poker skewering what ever limb unfortunate enough to be struck by the bolts. Blake was giving this creature a clear warning, but at the same time he doubted its effect would be positive... or act as a deterrent, but it was certainly worth a try.

OOC: Okay, so if anyone sees me posting as Blake heading to the lake, then just roll with it, I may have to make his exit from the cabin match up with his entrance to the lake, but I'm sure none of you mind overly... I hope at least..

The lake was looking beautiful as night was starting to set in and the moon and the sun both reflected off the surface. Giovanni smiled as Kateen asked what it would cost her. "Lets say we keep this place our little secret and I can call us even." the fact of the matter was he really didnt want anyone to know that such a place or power was possible, but he felt Kateen was trustworthy. Well that was at least before she gave him a tap on the shoulder running ahead of him. "Oh yeah? Just watch me" He laughed as he ran after her she. She was quick he had to give her that, but he was catching up to her. A thought crossed his mind just a few moments before he would have potently caught her. This thought caused Gio to trip and and fall. He landed with a loud thud. His scarf coming off an flying in the wind right towards were Kateen was. He looked up still a little dazed wondering if she was still there or if she had kept running forward failing to realize he ha tripped.

Kateen was laughing as she ran ahead of Giovanni. She heard him call back to her, but it was muffled. She didn't know much about Gio, but she assumed he wouldn't be able to catch her. She wouldn't have stopped if she hadn't heard a roar coming from up ahead. She froze in place, scared out of her wits. She turned back to Gio, "Did you--" but he was still further back at the lake. She could just make out his silouette. Kateen was sure he wasn't that far behind her...

Then something blew her way. His scarf. She grabbed it as it threatened to ease past her with the wind. "Gio?!" she exclaimed, getting more anxious over where he could be and what could be headed their way.

"Come on.... Please be okay.....Get over here!" she said in a tone filled with fret.
Suddenly she heard a loud noise accompanied by voices.

Kateen was shaking at the thought of what she might see up ahead of her, but she was so damn curious. She took tiny steps, tip-toeing her way to the side of the clearing. She found a large rock and knelt behind it, turning to wave Gio over but urging him to be quiet with her index finger on her lips.

She peeked over the rock, so that only the top half of her face would be visible. The fallen angel saw fire bolts and two vague figures. If she looked well enough she would be able to see that one of the figures was a councilor and the other was some sort of armored being. She hoped her voice hadn't been loud enough for them to hear over their quarrel. It was too soon for Kateen to know if this was something she could handle intervening on. She shook behind the rock waiting for her friend to come see what she was witnessing.
