Vinegar works so well at cleaning that it can kill black mold. If you ever have black mold, use vinegar then baking soda. Baking soda does extra cleaning and also removes the smell of vinegar.

Also using can of coke (soda) help with tough dish scum.

OMG!

I'm currently haveing a
rather baffling black mold problem.

I use a cup around the house and
it has its own straw.

If mom brew's fresh tea,
and i leave it in my cup,
my straw gets a horribly gooey coating inside emotion_donotwant

It's the grossest coolest thing ever!

Also happens with water but not as quickly.

Very very very hard to clean out
as my straw has *counts*
40 small rings on it going down emotion_8c

Vinegar will help me???

Definitely. Use white distilled. It works on anything. If you have a mold problem like that it's gotta be growing in your walls or something. T.T Any mold you can see anywhere in your house you should use the vinegar there too. Just straight vinegar. Afterwords you can use baking soda to further clean and remove the mold and vinegar smell. You mix 1/4 cup baking soda with 1 quart of warm water.

My landlord is such a slumlord. My fridge leaked for months before he finally brought a "new" one. It had mold in it. I knew I would be stuck with it anyway. So I looked it up.. took us 5 1/2 hours, but we wasted time cause we used bleach the first time. Apparently bleach only kills some types of mold and doesn't work on all types of surfaces. It smelled and looked great afterwards and so far no mold has grown back.

It started out as tiny spots,
last night.

I woke up today and it grew
into clumps, getting thicker.

Gonna let it live this time xd

Oh, yikes. It still baffles me that is happening in your house. gonk

A science experiment though. Okay. Maybe it will grow into a slime and you can have it do mazes, haha. I learned that today. Slime molds love oatmeal and they got slimes to finish mazes like mice.. kinda crazy considering they don't have brains.

Well I mean I don't see how it's not possible. Might take a few years, haha. How many few I'm not sure. I don't understand a lot about molds. But some people are considering that the cause of life.. evolution. We could have evolved from some puddle or pile of mold.
