Now, she tries to find him, wanting to know why he saved her, but the shadow warrior knows that their is no hope for a relationship between the two of them, not when her father is the leader of the opposing side. What will happen as these two continue to meet on opposing sides of the battlefeild?

Sanvor was fighting his way across the battlefield, a devilish grin playing across his lips as he slaughtered all in front of him. He soon came to one of the two princesses that were said to be on the field. He saw she was surrounded by piles of his soldiers. A deep chuckle escaped his lips as he caught an attack with his hand. Quickly killing the warrior that was holding the blade, he let the body drop as he threw the sword as hard as he could at the princess. The blade pierced through four of his soldiers only to be deflected by the princess. "Well well well. What would an innocent girl like you be doing here?" He asked mockingly. He then charged forward and attacked, the clashing of their weapons sending shock waves through the warriors around them, send everyone around them flying. After two hours of fighting Sanvor finally got the upper hand and fatally wounded the princess. kneeling beside her, he placed ger hands on her chest, askin her if she wanted him to end her pain. Seeing her weakly shake her head he got up, paid his respects to her then walked away, killing any enemy soldiers that got in his way.

Gwendolyn was running through the battlefield. Whenever a blade or axe came close to her, she would feint to a side and then strike with one of her twin swords before twirling and then running again. News was spreading on the battlefield, and one of the goblins had let loose a rumor that the shadow knight had even joined the fray. Also, it was also speculated that even her sister's troops had been decimated by the enemy, and there was no hope left for them.
She had broken rank, trying to find her sister anywhere. Since her father hardly paid her any mind, she was the only person that Gwen had left. If she died... She couldn't even bear to thank of it. Small sparkles glowed throughout the torn wasteland and dead bodies were everywhere, some torn limb from limb as if the winner had enjoyed ripping them to shreds. It was hard for her mind to make sense of the gruesome images and the blood coating the parched land.
Finally, she came to a collapsing church. Half of its walls had already crumbled, only leaving a few stone pillars here and there and small patches of grass where stone floors had once been before it had been swallowed by the land and eroded by the wind. Laying on the dry ground, blood seeping from a fatal wound, was her sister. Gwendolyn fell to her knees beside her sister, small tears already falling from her bright blue eyes as she tentatively reached out to the wound.
"Sister.... " she said softly, not exactly knowing what to say. A choked cough startled her, and her faze instantly found her sister's face. "Gwendolyn...." Her sister's soft voice reached her, and even more tears spilled from her eyes. "Don't talk. Save your energy. I will heal you, Griselda..." Raising her hand to perform a healing spell, she stopped. Crimson stained her hands from her sister's injuries, and all hope drained from her. "Don't even waste your time sister. It is too large and deep a wound. It is useless..." Anger swept through Gwendolyn at her own helplessness. She could not even save her own sister! "Who did this to you?!" she demanded, revenge in her mind.
"The Shadow Knight... But we have no time. I have no time. Father... Take my spear, Gwendolyn. Show it to father, and let him know that I have fallen. Let him know that I have done my duty in battle." ""Sister..." Taking the spear that laid beside her sister's battered body, she bit her lip. A small sob left her, wracking her frail body with the force of it. Griselda let loose one final choking cough before Gwendolyn watched the life drain from her sister's eyes.
More sobs came from the saddened Gwen. After what seemed like hours, but was only mere minutes, she stood. Anger and vengeance clouded her mind as she looked down at the sleek spear. "I will avenge you sister. And then join you in the Great Beyond." Turning, she strode away with a new sense of purpose.

Sanvor clashed with a general, his broad sword, whistling through the air and breaking the general's axes handle. He grabbed the general by the head and threw him hard. He chucked the head of the ax and watched in delight as the general slammed against one of the few remaining walls of the house. Half a second later the head of the ax slammed into the general, pinning him to the wall.
Sanvor began to walk away when a surprisng sight caught his eye. A black soul escaped the mouth of the general. "Well now. What is this?" He said , grabbing the black soul and absorbing it. Seeing all of the foul things the general did while alive; from murder to treason to much more un-speakable acts. "It seems that you were better suited to fight for my Goddess then for your King." Sanvor said chuckling.
Leaving the house, Sanvor saw the other princess charging toward him. He could see the bright white aura of her innocence, barely twinged grey from the ongoing battle. Seein her get closer he caught a glimpse of one of his warriors surprise the princess, knocking her down. "Ah dammit..." He groaned, charging forward. The entire length of his blade slammed through his warrior, killing it instantly. He then placed his blade against the princess's neck.
"Get out of here. Leave this battlefield and go home to your father. He shouldn't lose two daughters in one battle." He told her, moving his blade just enoughfor her to get up, his deep piercing blue eyes locked with hers.

She was charging through the battlefield, dodging as she encountered tiny skirmishes among the soldiers every few feet. Gwendolyn had her target in site when suddenly she noticed the warrior in front of her bringing down an axe that would have taken her head clean off. Without thinking, she went low and tried to get out of the axes range before it came all the way down. Sadly, she was too slow. Sudden starbursts of pain and anguish clouded her mind as she handle came down on her shoulder, knocking her to the ground. Pain throbbed from her shoulder to the rest of her body as she looked up at her attacker. Then it dawned on her that her spear was no longer in her hand. Panic screamed in her mind as she looked around frantically only to see it a couple feet away from her right hand. Looking up, she saw the soldier swing the axe at an arc, aiming for her small neck once more. Squeezing shut her eyes, she sent up a little prayer, regretting that she couldn't get revenge for her sister.
Just as it was about to come down a sudden gleam of silver caught her attention before the axe was knocked away and the soldier lay dead at her feet. Confused, she soon saw the culprit: the shadow knight that had defeated her sister. Gwen looked at her spear once more, wishing she had a chance to grab it. At his discriminatory tone, a blush lighted her cheeks as she glared at him before standing. "I won't leave before I take you down with me!" she declared before doing a lithe roll towards her spear. As she came up, she quickly balanced herself, her sister's spear in her hand and revenge lighting her eyes as she twirled her spear before darting forward, the head of her spear aimed for his heart.

Sanvor let out an irritated sigh as he easily caught the head of the spear as it touched his chest. He quickly brought the blade of his sword to her throat again. "Don't try my patients girl." He said as he glared at her. He put his sword on back then picked her up by the throat. "Get out of here. Or I will seperate that pretty head of yours from your body." He said then dropped her to the ground and began to walk away, his hand on the grip of his sword in case she decided to attack again.

Gwendolyn glared at him as he once more brought the shapened point of his sword against her throat. Her eyes showed just how much hate and malice she felt towards him at that moment as she stared up at him. When he dropped her to the ground, she made a soft pain filled noise from where it jarred her body. However, she quickly wiped the pain from her face as she stood up once again and watched as he walked away. Anger filled her. Right as she was about to charge him once again and small figure appeared in front of her. His eyes were large in his face and he was only as tall as half a man, only coming up to her waist. "Princess!" the goblin called out. "You must take charge!" "I have more important things to take care of." she told him coldly. He watched her before replying, "But what use are troops that have lost their leader? The Fairy Queen is coming Princess. We cannot fight this war from being attacked on both sides. We must retreat." Gwendolyn felt anger. Robbed of her sister, her enemies death, her own swift end. In the end, she had to ignore her own feelings just like always. With one last glance at the shadow knight, she looked back at the Goblin and nodded. It was time to do her duty as a Princess. "Go back to the front lines. Tell everyone to retreat. We will reconvene on a new strategy." Running the opposite way, she went towards the cauldron. If all was lost, she at least needed to take that back for her kingdom. It was the only way to make psypher weapons like her own spear.

Glancing over his shoulder, Sanvor kept his eye on the peincess as she left. He huffed as he un-sheathed his sword again. He threw his sword, causing it to rotate quickly and slice theough multiple enemies. Catching it when it came back to him he sheathed it again and met up a few of his generals. "We're heading back to camp. they are retreating. Tomorrow we force them back even more. Within a fortnight we can be close ro the castle gates." He told them, his sword now resting at his sidw. The blood seemed to soak into the blade.
A few hours later Sanvor left the generals' tent and went to eat. He then went back to his tent, opened a small portal and bowed before his goddess. "My Goddess." He said, bowing deeply. "Sanvor... my loyal servant. Tell me, how fares the battle?" She asked him.Her skin was pale white except for what was covered by her exo-skeleton, which wasn't too much. Exposing so much of herself lead to impure thoughts, which only stregthened her. "If you do well then I will PERSONALLY give you my thanks." She said, giving him a seductive smile. "Thank you My Goddess. I would be most apricated." He said smiling at her as he couldn't help but look over her wonderous figure.

Gwendolyn had been taking care of the few soldiers she had seen on her way and trying to make sure that everyone retreated. Some she saw were so driven by blood lust that they seemed to not even see her when she approached them. Those, she let continue. Odin's army did not need people who could not stay level-headed. If they died, so be it. As she finally came upon the cauldron, she gasped softly. It was glowing brightly, casting a red light on the sky. As she approached, she realized just how large it was. It was at least twice her height and round. Walking towards it, she was about to touch it before she heard a voice. "This Cauldron is not for the likes of you." Looking up, she saw someone sitting on the top of it, lounging back and looking very pleased with herself. She had blond hair down to her waist and was wearing a deep red cloak with a black skirt and a red top. It was something she had thought she had seen before. "You.. Who are you?!" she demanded. "I am the witch of the woods as your people call me. But I just want to make one thing clear. This Cauldron is not for the likes of you, nor the Fairies. I will be taking this." She held up a ring which a glowing red gym the same shade as the cauldron. Gwendolyn stared at her, not quite realizing what she was getting at. "I don't know what you are talking about, but this Cauldron will belong to Odin." The girl let out a harsh laugh before standing. She had a psypher weapon herself, a chain with two glowing gems on each end. "I will be leaving, you who know nothing." Staring at her, she watched her leave, still so confused. That was until after she was gone, the light in the cauldron started to fade. Fear seized her and she backed away, her eyes full of denile. "No... "

Once he finished his talk with his Goddess Sanvor left his tent only to see a deep red pillar of light in the sky. Narrowing his eyes Marcus stared for a moment. "Musu. Come here for a moment." He said. A moment later a slender figure appeared next to Sanvor, almost as if he appeared out of thin air. "Yes my Lord?" Musu replied as he bowed his head to Sanvor. "I want you to go survey the area where that light is coming from. Once you've learned everything you can, report back to me." He told Musu. "As you wish my lord." Just as quickly as Musu appeared, he was gone. Sanvor continued tp stare at the light, his body completely motionless except for the slifbt movement of his chest as he breathed.
A few minutes later the light faded, allowing shadow and darkness to fill the void where the light once was. A fraction of a second later Musu appeared before him, kneeling on the ground. "My lord. It appears that the princess and her soldiers had a culdron of some kind. I beleive they planned to use it against us...but the witch of the woods seems to have taken the power of the culdron for her own.. What shall we do My Lord?" "Nothing for now. Tomorrow I will go speak to the witch of the woods about this culdron and find out why "Odin wants it." He said as he scratched his chin. "Go Musu. I have much to thinj about."Sanvor said as he walked back into his tent, Musu vaniahing avain.

Gwendolyn cursed when she heard the familiar loud steps of her father. Hurriedly dropping to one knee, she bowed her head until he was in front of her. In her head, she searched for the correct words to say: about Griselda, her sister and about the Cauldron. However, nothing came to mind except for one thing: she had failed him. And she had nothing to show him for her efforts..
"My Lord, Odin... Griselda, our great leader.. and your daughter.. has fallen in battle. And the ring Titrel, which controls the cauldron has been taken. I have failed you, father." "That you have. Who has taken the ring, Gwendolyn. We must get it back. The future of the kingdom rests on this." "The witch of the woods has taken it, my Lord." "Well then, you of course must get it back. That is your duty for now. In the morning, you leave to take it back. And you shall not fail me this time, or you will be punished."
Gwendolyn continued to kneel in shock. He hadn't said a thing about Griselda. Nothing about how saddened or in pain he was that his eldest daughter had died... Standing, she knew she shouldn't say anything but she could not stop the fire in her heart from erupting. Anger clouded her eyes as she stared up at the large man that had his back to her. "What about your daughter! She died for you! Have you nothing to say about the daughter that loved you so?!" she asked, outrage ringing clear in her heated voice. Odin turned to her, anger twisting his features. "You have no right to say anything to me, Valkyrie. Return to your duties. You may take your leave!"
Flinching, Gwendolyn turned and ran away, tears streaking down her face. Nothing. She had seen no remorse in her father's eyes. He was as bad as the army of dead they had been fighting.
