Not much people talk about the show on VH1/MTV; Storyline about two girls faking as lesbians to get liked/ getting guys. If you had to give an opinion, would you say that this show is somewhat "offensive" and are spreading the message to pose as one of the Categories LGBT to get liked?

I've never seen the show, but I knew a girl in high school who would pretend to be lesbian to get guys, so it's not just a media issue.....

Ocean Manta I've never seen the show, but I knew a girl in high school who would pretend to be lesbian to get guys, so it's not just a media issue..... I know it's not "just" a media issue, I explained people posing as gay or lesbian in an old forum. So, yeah... = _=

I definitely think the whole concept is more than a little offensive, and they're going about the whole queer representation in media thing entirely wrong. Not to mention that they're entirely glossing over the enormous number of queer youth who are bullied at school, out of school, and sometimes bullied until they LEAVE school just for being queer, or even just BELIEVED to be queer...
Speaking from my personal high school experiences, I think the whole show is a stupid idea to begin with. But since it's MTV, did we really expect anything that wasn't obnoxious and offensive?
