Leafy was born in a small, poor village in the woods of Mobius. As a baby, his mother left him and his father alone. His father discovered Leafy was mute, born with injuries in his vocal folds. It left his father angered, while he was already angry with the fact that his wife abandoned them in a time of need. Leafy, for a very long time, was abused by his father as his father never let go of his anger, and put it all out on his son. If Leafy were to disobey him in any way, Leafy would be punished unimaginably. At fourteen years of age, his entire village was in flames one night. Leafy watched his father burn to death. Afterwards, in tears, Leafy ran for his life, escaping the village and leaving his old life behind.
After passing out from running, an older Mobian rescued him, and took him to her place to rest. Leafy was very scared at first, not just because of the stranger in front of him, but also because he kept feeling his father hurting him, and kept watching the memory of him burning. The older Mobian helped him, and for a year, taught him to read, to write, to communicate using sign language, and along with of those things, the older Mobian taught him about the real world and of real life. Leafy bonded with the older Mobian, and the older Mobian viewed Leafy as a son she never had. Unfortunately, the bond encountered an obstacle, as Leafy discovered that the older Mobian had a darker side to her: she secretly "erased" other Mobian's lives, mainly criminals. When he asked her about it, the old Mobian told him that it was mainly an addiction to get rid of the evil of Mobius, and that she would never want him involved with it, or else he would become as corrupted as she was. One day, someone witnessed her in the action, and the old Mobian requested Leafy to flee, and also for something else, which was a secret between the two of them. The old Mobian ended up dying as Leafy did as she said for both requests, and continued onward on his own.
With other experiences he had been through afterwards, it's unknown to Leafy if he was still considered stable or unstable. But as Leafy journeyed into some unknown places, he did the best he could to help others, despite any sort of circumstance. He developed, and will continue to develop, his kindness and his acceptance for other Mobians who were in need. He had done this for much of his life, and will to continue on in doing so.
