Basket (Yukio Beck):
Before Esperenza found a Basket that was apparently left for her by someone she had spent a lot of her time daydreaming. It's something that she loves to do when she knows that she is the only one in the area. If someone else was around she would happily approach them, greet them, and then they would both either continue on their way or they would spend some time together.
After she found a Basket a lot changed because she has someone to take care of that needs her as much as she needs them. Now when she is awake instead of daydreaming as often as possible she spends about one fourth (1/4) of that time daydreaming. The rest of the time is spent preparing an area for the young on, checking on the Basket, and doing everything else that she needs to do that day.
Whenever the Basket moves she sits there and just about stares at it in case the Foal is finally ready to be outside of the basket. Of course, it isn't staring unless she stops blinking as much as she normal does so it counts as excitedly watching.

As she spends her days with her, found, young one, Yukio Beck, she begins to daydream less and she begins to spend more or her quiet time thinking about the memories that the two of them are making together.
Whenever she isn't carefully watching Yukio Beck and she has time to relax and settle down she will either daydream or think about those newly created memories. Of course, if she needs to do anything before she gets ready for whatever is next then that is what she will do. Will Yukio Beck as energetic and as excitable as he is it normally doesn't take long for him to use most of his energy. If it's his naptime there are still plenty of things to do before he wakes up. And if is Yukio Beck's bedtime it means that after Esperenza is finished making sure that he is comfortable it is time to finish whatever is left. Afterwards she can get ready for bed so that she can rest and recover her energy for whatever comes tomorrow morning.
As Esperenza and Yukio Beck grow and change together her daydreams also begin to change to become similar enough to how her life is now that she has someone to have almost daily adventures with.
Once Yukio Beck is old enough and he no longer needs as much attentions as he used to it gives Esperenza more time to daydream. After she is finished getting ready for the day and before Yukio Beck wakes up she will carefully walk and daydream. While after Yukio Beck went to bed she would again carefully walk and daydream. Even though she loves like a Son she began to miss having more time to herself. With her putting less effort into her daydreams she is putting more effort into watching where she is going.
Now that she is that careful while she is daydreaming she is not nearly as careful while she is walking around and thinking of the memories that she has made. Not only is she thinking about the memories that she is making with Yukio Beck. Esperenza is also thinking about the memories that she is making with everyone that she has meet so far.
As long as she is thinking deeply enough it means that she isn't paying attention to where she is going...
Now with her time spent taking care of this sweet little foal she has her hoofs full with watching him, taking care of him, and teaching him. The day when he starts trying to fly shall be the day she just sits there trying to figure out what she shall do. By that time she hopes she can track down someone else with wings that will be willing to help her out.
A bit about Sir Yukio Beck: Having been out of his Basket for seventeen days he's interested in his surroundings. About what Esperenza does and why she does what she does. He's not sure why or how she found him, though he's glad she did. Everyday with her is a new adventure in it's own way/ways. The only thing he's sure about is he's reliable, noble, truthful, and loyal to those who earn his trust. Though, if someone needs his help he'll be more then willing to help them as best he can. If he can't help them then he will go get help if he can.
He enjoys exploring around the area he's staying with Esperenza, mostly following the stream that's near by. He'll often chase the water for something to do when he's not busy helping out. Which happens in vise verse, he'll help out and then he'll chase the stream. If he's not doing either of those he'll be splashing around in the stream to cool off. Or searching for apples on low branches that he can reach. If not he can always get Esperenza's help if he can't do something himself.

A bit about Sir Sleet Storm: Sir Sleet is a Knight that trained for a good deal of his young life. When he was no longer a foal nor a Knight in training he left to find someone special to protect for the rest of his life. He's not sure who he will meet on his way to finding that special someone though he does know that he'll find all sorts of different Soq on his journey. He knows he won't get along with half of them though what ever friends he can find he'll be sure to protect them as best he can. He'll even go as far as protecting his friends family, his friends friends, and his friends friends family.
Back Story:
When he was very young his family took him to train to become a Knight. He lived there with the others that had been dropped off. The only difference was he did his best to become the best Knight that he ever could be. Making the rest look like they weren't trying enough so he didn't make too many friends there. Though he didn't care because he was always glad to tell his Parents about how well he's been doing there when they visit. So one day they don't come to see him and he doesn't worry too much because it takes a while to get there. With the few friends he has he waits for them each day near the gates. His friends kept encouraging him that they'd be there if they could. They came up with a bunch of different reasons. The longer he waits the more stressed he becomes so even the others start trying to comfort him knowing that he really wasn't showing off, he was just doing his job. He only wants to make his Parents proud of him, to show them that he can become a Knight if that's what they want him to be.
Finally one day while waiting a few Knights come walking over to tell him that his Parents are missing and can't be found anywhere. After hearing this he hangs his head so low his chin touches the grass and he lets his wings hang by his sides. His friends try to comfort him though it's no use seeing as he's too upset after hearing that. Though days go by and he buries himself in his work for as many days as he can. Of course his friends had other ideas which would help him. They'd go to his room in the school on the weekend to bug, bother, talk to, and just plain hang out to try getting him to cheer up. They even did their best to catch up in their teachings to show him that they care about him and others. It also gave them an excuse to spend more time with him to try cheering him up more.
By the time he found out what they were doing he was himself again and most thankful for their help. Though it wasn't too long before he finally finished his Knight training and decided to travel the world to find his Parents. He told his friends they would meet again one day, though first he must find out what happened to his Parents and if they are still alive someplace. First he must find a few Unicorns that can teach him how to use what little healing Magic he may have. He already knows how to fly though he still wants to meet others with all sorts of different wings, others with all sorts of different horns, and others that have both a horn or horns and wings.
