I have only recently realized that I am genderqueer. I don't really know what I'm supposed to do....I'm scared of coming out to people because I don't think people will believe me.... unlike all you trans people I have no interest in hormones and surgery .I'm fine with how my body is. I just want to be able to embrace, accept and show both the male and female sides of me.

the best thing to do is ignore what others think. be yourself if they have problems f them they aren't worth your time. your not alone alot of people don't believe me unless they've known me almost my whole life. people can f off. do you hommie do you and be happy.

There's some people already genderqueer in this guild though it might take a while to them to post on this thread.

I'm not thinking of doing hormones or surgery at the moment either. I'm still trying to figure out if I'm trans or somewhere between genders myself, but know this group won't put you down for not being "trans enough" or pressure you into presenting a certain way!

There is no time limit for these things, so just take a deep breath! Do what you feel like doing each day, and go from there 3nodding Tell someone when you feel like telling them, not because you feel obliged to and know that you're not alone heart

got a lucky break today. I went to a friends graduation party and I was easily able to get my parents not to make me wear a skirt with flowers. I would have been so uncomfortable if I had to wear it sweatdrop . I was suprised that they just offered something else and didn't ask a million questions....at least once I'm in college they won't be there to tell me what to wear....

That's great to hear! I always really hated it when Mum used to buy me really girly flowery dresses, expecting me to wear them. emotion_puke Fortunately these days, I think my parents have finally got the message that I don't like girly stuff.

Just out of curiosity, what did you decide to wear to the party?

been kind of depressed......I know this whole genderqueer thing and being so confused about who I am is part of it....How do I get myself to feel better about everything?

Well first step nto feeling better is to accept yourself. Acceptance is always the first thing to do. "Especially" with yourself.
