My character will be Rose. She is a mysterious, alluring girl who wanders the streets playing her violin for spare change. She always hides her face with her scarf and her long black hair. The only feature you can see is her violet eyes, that sometimes glimmer with a "blue wreath of flame." She prefers to communicate with her music, but she does sometimes whisper. She will never speak aloud, keeping her voice to herself.

The music she plays is extraordinary, for one reason: Music is the language of the heart, and to each member of her audience, she plays the notes that their hearts are singing. Sometimes the music is mournful, sometimes it is happy; it varies from a wide range of emotions, especially if she has a large crowd.

Her secret? She is a long lost Siren of mythology, the last of her kind. If she reveals her voice or her beauty, she will hypnotize whatever men who listen - and they will become so obsessed with her that they will follow her, forsaking everything, even food, for her.

In mythology, she was trapped on an island with her sister Sirens, cursed by the goddess Demeter for not saving Persephone. She and her sisters were released by a daughter of Poseidon, on the condition that they better the world - not themselves - with their voices and their music.

The other two Sirens have made a spectacle of themselves - one uses her abilities for beauty pageants, the other for fame and fortune as a pop star. Rose is the only one of them using her abilities for unselfish purposes, so she stays under the radar - but Demeter is getting angry. Her ancient curse is backfiring on her, and she is looking to kill the Sirens.

I am looking for at least 2 other roleplayers - a young couple (boy and girl) who are volunteers at a local homeless shelter. They meet Rose some way or another.

There may be other rpers later on in the story - 2 for the other two sirens, and of course, Demeter. Persephone will probably also come into play later on.
