Any advice on how to make tea, where to buy tea, or what to eat with tea?

So my favorite place to buy tea is the Asian Grocery Store, "CAM."
They have a lot of tea to choose from, especially Oolong and Green. Best of all, it's at a really good price. They also have a bunch of cute tea canisters to choose from (I have all of the "kokeshi" set, where they look like kokeshi dolls in different colors).
My only complaint is that they have no herbal tea.
Anyone know a good place to get herbal tea? (Besides Teavanna. I don't have nearly enough money to buy stuff there)

I haven't come across a tea that really made me like it *shrugs* I love fruity teas, especially iced. heart You can make your own "fruit" tea by brewing a cup of tea (usually black) and put in a spoonful of jelly or jam (instead of sugar or honey). It gives you a sweet, fruity tea.

I love different teas, my favorite iced tea is a mixture of both earl gray and English breakfast tea. I know it can be a little strong, but put in some sugar and ice...it is quit refreshing on a hot day heart

Yeah, what kind of tea I like is highly dependent on my mood. Since I'm Chinese, I grew up sort of a tea purist - no milk, no sugar, everything in tiny little cups so you can properly taste the flavor.
My favorites would have to be jasmine (it smells incredible when brewing), chai, and the almost blasphemous Hong Kong-style milk tea. But for colds, yujacha is best.
I usually buy my tea in Chinatown or on Adagio.

This is gonna sound blasphemous, but a friend of mine introduced me to a really neat idea.
You make macha green tea, and then you put some cream and honey in it. It gets really creamy and sweet. Purists probably won't like it, but it's so good. whee

My mom makes a cassata cake that goes great with tea. It's a white cake with custard and fruit (usually strawberries) in between the layers and whipped cream frosting. So good with a milder tea, like green or jasmine.

Sadly, though, the only place by me that sells herbal tea is Teavanna, and I don't want to spend that much on tea.
