 Colcord is a small farming town in southern Delaware County, Oklahoma, United States. The community lies in the northeastern part of the state in a region known as Green Country. At the 2000 census, the population was 819.

 Nikolai glared out into the sandy wasteland before him, slamming the car door behind him. If only he wasn't lazy enough to listen to Leon's warning. It was hot, so dreadfully hot, and the sound of cicadas buzzing was going to make it difficult for him to fall asleep instantly. The Sin sighed and reluctantly place the cowboy hat on top of his head, frowning at the fact that he wasn't in his favored suit. Instead, he was dressed in faded boot cut jeans with brown leather chaps covering the most of them and ending right before his boots. A white tee hid behind a brown and black vest. Needless to say, " I feel ridiculous." huffed Nikolai as his hat lowered over his face.

Leon CourtA large and tanned hand moved to push the brim of Nikolai's hat up, the hand connecting to a laughing man in his mid-to-late twenties. Leon wore his own cowboy hat, a deep chocolate brown that somehow made his hair look just a bit less, you know, purple. He wore a blue plaid shirt, the top two buttons undone and the shirt tucked into his worn blue jeans that stopped just above his old brown boots that he'd practically dug out of his closet and that were held up by a brown leather belt. He looked just like he had all those years ago, except a little older, and definitely more handsome. " I told you not to wear the chaps," he chuckled, hands on his hips now as he shook his head. His accent was already coming back, a beautiful Oklahoman drawl coating his words. Leon was truly in his element. Before he could say another word, he was interrupted by a- " Well, if it ain't my little cousin, Leon!" The man turned to smile brightly at a cowboy who had just driven up in a shiny black truck. Hopping out of the vehicle, the new man strode over and enthusiastically shook Leon's hand, then hugged him tightly as they both laughed. He grinned as he pulled away, reaching up to scratch his brown beard. The man was very good-looking, almost as attractive as Leon, and had a thicker accent than Leon. He wore a green button-up and a back vest, his own light hat tilted back and one hand in the back pocket of his blue jeans. " I swear, Leon, you get taller each time I see ya!" he teased. " Naw, you just keep getting shorter, Len," was Leon's jolly reply. " Is Patty here too?" Leonard shook his head. " Nope. Doctor's orders. She cain't travel too often now that it's so close to the birth." " Hah! You're getting so old, Lenny!" he boomed, before reminding himself of his lover's presence. Reaching back, he set his hand on the small of the Russian's back and pushed his forward lightly. " I almost forgot. This is Nikolai Byko. Nikolai, this is my cousin Lenny." The man held out a hand, smiling with friendliness. " Nice to meet ya!" he greeted.

Nikolai, however, watched the two talk with interest. Such strong bodies, such tanned skin, and those thick accents! He closed his eyes and exhaled slowly to keep himself from fantasizing too hard about the two strong ranch-hands sweating under the sun and having to remove their- The Sin's lime green eyes opened instantly when he felt a hand against his back. He glanced up at Leon then to his cousin and the hand extended towards him. Handshakes. Mmph, it had been too long since he had been through this. But that's okay, he had had enough handshakes with lovers' fathers to get a strong grip. Hopefully a cowboy would expect the same grip rather than a stronger one. " Hello there, dear- er, partner? I've heard quite a bit about you from Leon." Nikolai smirked while gripping the cousin's hand and shake it. Dear him, this was just like meeting Leon's parents - especially since his family was, well...

Leon Court" I sure hope not!" chuckled the man, who blinked at Nikolai's strong grip. Oh! He wanted to go that route, okay! He squeezed back hard, looking like a happy camper the whole time. " Okay, that's enough," said the man, separating their hands and nodding to the truck. " We should get going. Don't we have work to get done before nightfall, Len?" The cowboy nodded, then started for the truck, hopping in. " Y'all just follow me, alright? The house is a little further that way." He started the truck, starting to turn the vehicle and directing it towards the house. Leon turned to Nikolai and sighed. " So, I'm guessing you want to stay inside the house while we work?" he more said than asked, walking over to his side of the car and getting in.

The Russian smiled pleasantly during the handshake, though he was trying very hard not to cry out. That cowboy was going to break his hands! He needed this hand! Leon needed this hand! Fortunately for him, Leon broke up their handshake and took them to the truck. Nikolai waited for the cousin to get ahead of them before taking his hand into his other hand and massaging it tenderly. " You know me so well, darling." he grinned sideways at Leon until the soreness of his hand caused him to hiss in pain. " I'll be busy holding ice over my poor hand." he added with a grumble.

Leon Court" Yeah, sorry about that," laughed the man, shaking his head as he started the car. " Len doesn't much care for how strong you are, so long as your handshake is firm. But you squeeze, and he'll squeeze back. Hard." Leon waited until Nikolai was buckled in before driving off, following behind. " That reminds me. Patty really likes hugs, so if she keeps hugging you, don't think too much on it. Bear through it. Remember, she's pregnant."

" Does she hug tightly, too?" Nikolai replied snidely while giving Leon a look. He sighed and looked out the window. " Please tell me there's a TV at their house." he said while staring at dirt after dirt. Where were they, the middle of nowhere?

Leon CourtHe nodded, wincing at the amount of dust that flew up as they drove. Thankfully, it wouldn't be like this at the ranch. " Yeah, they do. They've got internet, too." Soon enough, the house came up, and he stopped the car. Lenny was already running inside the house, and Leon got out of the car to grab their bags from the back. " I swear, he's about as helpful as a stick."

" Perhaps my sloth has spread to even your family." Nikolai mused as he stepped out of the car, closing the door and wincing at his still, but not as sore hand. He rubbed it close to his chest and frowned as his hat fell over his head. " I'm already ready to go home." he murmured from beneath his hat.

Leon Court" That's because you haven't seen Patty's hiding spot yet," he was saying before being tackled by a little purple blur. " Leon!" she cried, hugging his torso giddily. " Oh, I missed you so much! Why don't you come visit us anymore?" Pulling away, she set her hands on her bulging belly and beamed up at him, looking more like his cousin than Leonard himself. " Did you bring him?" The teacher only chuckled, gesturing back to the car with his head. " He's in there. Don't scare him off, okay? I really like this one." She nodded excitedly, then rushed over to Nikolai and bounced on her heels. " Oh, I've heard so much about you, Nikolai! It's lovely to finally meet you."

Nikolai grumpily pulled his hat back just in time to see a female (and pregnant) version of Leon practically jumping up and down in front of him. He blinked a few times before grinning coyly at her. " You must be Patty. Dear me, Leon forgot to mention just how beautiful you are." he complimented sweetly.

Leon Court" Stop that!" he called back before disappearing into the house. Patty blushed prettily, clasping her hands to her chest and twittering. " Oh stop! You're going to make my husband jealous~" she giggled. Looking back to the house, she gestured to the widow's walk with pride. " Wait until you see the view from up there. You can see everything, including the boys when they work."

" Mmm, not unless my boyfriend gets jealous first." the Sin purred and grinned when he heard Leon from inside the house. He was so cute when he got like that~ He turned back to Patty when she gestured to the widow's walk and looked at it with interest. " My, oh my. Do they take their shirts off?" he asked with a devious grin on his face as his fantasies returned.

Leon CourtPatty giggled again. " It's 97 degrees outside. Answer your own question, Nikolai!" With an evil smirk, she looked back into the house, peeking in on the two men who were both drinking a beer before going out. " And just wait until you see them taking care of the horses. Sometimes Len forgets to put his shirt back on and rides his horses like a brilliant savage. It's a sight to see, Nikolai."
