The largest fresh water body of water in Tohoku, Lake Integrity is home to a stunning variety of Water Pokemon. If trainers have the means, it is an excellent means to travel from the Southern portion of Tohoku into the Central portion.

Sukotto and Metsuki have started looking for Pokemon around the southern coast of Lake Integrity. They only have time to capture one Pokemon each before nightfall and they may pass on their first two encounters each if they don't wish to capture either of them. If they don't try to capture the third kind of Pokemon they see, they will lose their chance to capture anything for the day.
Metsuki will take his three chances first.

[Enter Lake Integrity]
The cool air surrounding the lake were a welcome relief after the long hike from the city. The fresh breeze and warm air complimented each other perfectly. Metsuki felt as though he could fall asleep standing up in the welcoming paradise that was Lake Integrity.
There was no time for that, however. He needed to track down some Pokemon. After fighting those Geodudes the other day it was insultingly obvious that he required a Water Pokemon of some type. Hopefully he could find a decent one nearby.

Just off of the shoreline there was a school of nine Magikarp swimming in the shallow water. Three of them appeared significantly larger than the others. They seemed to stay in the deeper water and appeared to be more cautious.

The peaceful looking fish-like Pokemon caught Metsuki's eye. He wasn't sure if he was just in a good mood because he caught that Geodude the other day, or if he sensed something greater lurking deep inside the odd Water Pokemon. He knew that they were called 'Magikarp' because it was a extremely common Pokemon. They were even considered pests in some areas. Regardless, he decided that he had to capture one.
"Alright Chidori, they may not look like much but don't get cocky!" he said as he threw his Shinx's Pokeball onto the beach. Chidori came out of the Pokeball and landed softly in the warm sand. His golden hair glistened and it was almost blinding in this strong sunlight.

In spite of the weak appearance of the aquatic Pokemon, Sukotto had heard rumors in Viridian City of its strength. Indeed, one of his former superiors once attempted to breed a large number of them only to end up with a whole lot of nothing in the end. However, Sukotto was certain that Metsuki would know what he was doing so he followed his partner's lead. "Let's give them a hand with this one, go Repiv!"

The Magikarp didn't seem to care about all the activity that was occurring on the land. They seemed to be enjoying the warm water and were far too busy splashing and chasing one another too notice the trainers and their Pokemon.

It was difficult to tell which Magikarp would be the best for Metsuki's team, seeing as there were so many of them. However, one in particular looked much larger than the rest and likely had the most stamina so Sukotto decided to avoid that one. "Repiv, use your Poison Sting attack on the sixth one, it looks pretty weak to me!" The Ekans immidiately opened its mouth and released a spray of poison barbs aimed at the sixth Water Pokemon in the water. Repiv was even more devoted to showing what she was capable of, seeing how her previous battle ended with her companions needing to flee the scene.
Poison Sting – Poison A small, poisoned barb is shot at the target. At-Will – 2 Ranged Physical Damage Check: 1d8 Effect: 1 Target Poison Sting Poisons the target on 17-20 during Accuracy Check.

22(Damage) - 6(Magikarps' Defense) = 16 Damage Dealt
The sixth Magikarp faints
The sudden attack from the Ekans put the school of Magikarp into a frightened frenzy. They now realized the danger that they were in and were attempting to collect themselves to form some kind of counter attack. They seemed confused for the time being and were acting erratically.

After the Ekans destroyed the Magikarp it filled Metsuki with a strong sense of purpose. They had the upper hand against these Wild Pokemon and it was a good feeling since they barely made it out of the battle with the Geodudes the other day. If nothing else came from this battle at least it would be an excellent boost to their morale.
Metsuki looked over at Chidori and smiled at him. "Are you ready, Chidori? Attack that Magikarp with Tackle and show me what you are capable of!" he said pointing to the the fifth Magikarp.
Chidori let out an energetic growl and rushed towards the Magikarp. For some reason he felt invigorated at the site of one of the larger Wild Pokemon. He felt like he could take on the entire group on his own.
Rivalry For almost no reason the pokemon begins to get furious, improving their strength; upon closer inspection, you’ll find the cause for competition is the same gendered foe. Trigger – Hourly Effect: When battling a same gendered foe, the user may raise their Attack 2 Combat stages. Tackle – Normal The user throws themselves at the target, their whole weight impacting them. At-Will – 3 Melee Physical Damage Check: 2d10 Effect: 1 Target, Weight Class For each Weight Class the user is above the target, they deal additional 1d10 damage.

15(Result)+12(Attack boosted from Rivalry)= 27 Physical
27(Damage)-7(Magikarps' Defense)= 20 Damage
The fifth Magikarp faints.
The panic inside of the school of Magikarp was incredible. They all seemed to be trying to decide whether to stay and fight or to run away. The water was constantly splashing and spraying almost far enough to reach the land. It seemed as though the largest female Magikarp was trying to coordinate the school, but her efforts were in vain.
