Harwood Forest is a massive forest in the South Western part of Tohoku. Trainers may use it as a shortcut between various destinations. However, it is quite easy to get lost in the dense brush so it is recommended that they have some sort of map, guide, or ability to assist with navigating through the thick brush.

Having made his way to Harwood Forest, Sukotto began looking around for the missing trainer. As the map suggested, he started checking around where they had last been seen. Meanwhile, the Viridian kept an eye out for wild Pokemon in an attempt to not walk into a total disaster and get swarmed by a hive of Bug Pokemon. Having lived to a similar forest nearly his whole life, he knew to be careful. For the time being, he decided to not release any of his Pokemon since none of them had any sort of tracking ability. In addition, he didn't want to draw any extra unnecessary attention to himself by traveling in a larger group. Sukotto hoped that the person he was looking for hadn't gotten themselves into that sort of trouble.

Sukotto almost immidiately found the location where the trainer had last been seen. It seemed as though the map was getting him hot on their trail. He looked around the area for any clues that could potentially lead him to finding the trainer in question. The Virdian wasn't a tracker himself, but having spent some time in the forest near his home had shown him a few tricks here and there. He began by checking for broken branches and grass that had been patted down by footsteps.

After getting hit by the attack, the Viridian quickly grabbed the first Pokeball on his belt and released Repiv behind himself. After absorbing the attack that the Bug Pokemon launched, he knew his Ekans had a better starting opportunity in the fight. He was surprised that he had disturbed the bug, as he had known to be careful for this exact reason. In addition, he didn't mean to choose Repiv of all Pokemon since she was a poor choice against a Bug Type. Unfortunately, the trainer would have to live with his decisions in the moment and work with what he had. He braced himself for the potential incoming attack. "Let's start this fight the right way, Repiv! Use your Wrap attack and give us an early advantage!" With her new found speed, the purple serpent lunged towards the Flying Bug Pokemon in hopes of grabbing onto it with her full body.

After being wrapped by the trainer's Pokemon, the Yanma loudly buzzed its wings and began flying around erratically. It attempted to smash itself and the purple Pokemon into nearby tree in an attempt to free itself.

Sukotto winced as the Yanma performed a kamikaze move on itself, smashing hard into the tree and heavily damaging Repiv in the process. The fight was a close one, but since he had commanded the Ekans to wrap itself around the Yanma, Sukotto couldn't recall her until she let go. Knowing this, the Viridian knew that he had to keep pushing the offensive as much as possible. He had seen how much of a determined personality that Repiv had and he knew that she would follow his orders even if it led to her being knocked out. "I know you're hurting Repiv, but we can finish this if we're both successful with our next attacks! Use your Poison Sting and I'll try and smash that pesky bug as well!" Sukotto charged towards the Flying Bug Pokemon with a fist at the ready while Repiv opened her mouth and attempted to launch a point-blank volley of poisonous barbs at the Yanma.
