Hello again. The name's KittySongLUVsJONASBoys, but I usually go by Kitty - or KittySong if I'm not the only Kitty around. I only just took up crocheting this year, but I've tried my hand at knitting before, but I'm just an awkward knitter. The needles feel awkward and I can never get my hands to relax enough to make a proper (easy?) project. When I knit, it always comes out super tight so it's quite hard to work with. But I've found that I rather enjoy crocheting, kind of addicting at times. I learned from YouTube, no one in my family knows how to crochet - although my mom always loves the idea of crocheting.
That's about it, I think.

X so I made two of these. they look practically the same, except one is bigger than the other. the first one I made (not this one) is the bigger one, not by much stitch-wise, but in size it makes quite the difference. I followed the instructions that YouTube's CrochetCrowd posted; except, for this one I adapted it a bit so it'd come out as smaller. I made it for my niece for her birthday; the first one was too big, and this one was too small - or rather, this one was just the right size with no growing room. Which, she's recently two, so... she needs growing room. so I ended up giving her my first creation instead. turns out I didn't even need to make this second one xD this smaller one, I finished on the eleventh - just a day before my niece's second birthday party. I was cutting it close, but when you're a procrastinator... that kind of happens.

X So this is a 3D cross - or my attempt at it. I was originally going to just leave it as a normal non-3D cross, but that was too small and I wanted to give my mom something special. She'd recently shown an interest in crosses, which is why I'd decided to make one. Although making it 3D was a bit harder of a task than I originally thought, I don't think it turned out too badly. I just added a flower... Just because actually.
I had started this the day before mothers day - so the tenth of May (because as I mentioned before, procrastinator) and I didn't finish it until like, three weeks later on the thirty-first. (oops?)
I got the cross and the flower from YouTube. Unlike the video for the beanie, I did not get this from YouTube's CrochetCrowd, I just searched "crochet cross" and "crochet flower".
The flower is actually quite simple and the video I watched was made for "absolute beginners" so that was nice. c:

X hello my fellow hookers xD I'm still here.
So I've finally sat down and gotten these pictures ready to share with all of you (yayyy!) This one, I finished the twentieth of December of last year (2014) I think, pretty sure but it's been a while so I could be wrong.
I'm not quite sure how I ended up where I did... because I started on Ravelry and ended up on YouTube, so there's that. I had searched for scarves on Ravelry because I thought, "oh that's simple and quick"... And then I just so happened to choose a pattern that (for me) was confusing and not at all quick mrgreen but then again it wouldn't be the first time I've bitten off more than I can chew (so to speak)
So I ended up dropping that project (quite literally if I remember correctly, I think I still have the unfinished thing laying around) and, avoiding the unfinished scarf; I searched for different scarves and I ended up on YouTube, I think... Or maybe not... The more I think about it the more I think I may have found this pattern on Ravelry too... Well I don't know anymore, one of the two 3nodding
I gave it to my friend the day I finished it (because procrastinator) and she loved it, she didn't open it until Christmas because that's what she does, but she loved it. Her fiance's family even complimented her on it mrgreen

X okay so this one I know, I found this cute little pattern on Ravelry (am I spelling that right?) essentially, it's a bag with little hearts you can make to put inside it. It's a "bag of hugs" the lady had made some for her kids so whenever they felt homesick or something, they had a bag of their mom's hugs with them and I thought that was cute.
The bag and the hearts (I think I made four) really don't take very long. I made it in two (possibly three) hours, but if it's nonstop crocheting it won't take you that long (I stopped every once and a while to help my friend) and later on that day I gave it to my friend for Christmas.
I'm on a roll with making things the day I want to give them away. I'll work on this procrastinating later mrgreen
This was, the twenty-second of December, last year (2014).

X alright, so - this thing is the product of my most recent question mrgreen I messed up and made the green side bigger, but it's not that big of a deal. the pattern is intended to be an ornament for a Christmas tree I think, but you can do whatever with it. The part where you hang it is supposed to be longer, but I didn't look at the pattern for that part (oops?)
I started it on November Ninth, and finished it on the Nineteenth.

X If you guys can recall, I had asked about what colour looked good with purple because I ran out and the store didn't have the same shade again? That hat; that a few had recommended I "frog" - well I realized that I hadn't used the proper size hook, AND I think I switched hook size somewhere through the project, so even if I had finished it, it probably would have been wayyyy too small. SO! I had to redo it, and this is the end result.
I am super proud of it. It's a bit big because I screwed up somewhere (I think with the bpdc) but it's still cute and I'm gonna make one for me eventually. And I am super glad it's over and done with because that was stressful.
It was a Valentine's Day present that was going to be given for her birthday that only got finished to be a Christmas present.
This green one, I started it on December 21 and finished it on December 26.
And in case you're wondering, the one in the picture is me 4laugh
