Bio: High above the clouds, there existed an island known as Angel Island. The island was inhabited by many creatures, but the most notable ones where the Echindas. This clan lived here for many years and they also held the special task of guarding over the Master Emerald, a limitless power source that kept the island afloat. However, they weren't the only clan that watched over the precious stone. The wolves there also produced guardians of the Master Emerald. The Echinda saw this and they lived together with the wolves in peace. Over time though, the wolves started to withdraw from protecting the Emerald and focused on themselves. During that time strange things were happening on the island and some members of the tribe didn't return from hunting. So the Village Elder had decided to appoint the strongest wolf with the titled of Guardian of the clan. Tournaments were held in order to crown the strongest wolf and it worked. For generations, the Guardians held the task of guarding the clan and soon resumed guarding the Master Emerald. The Guardians started gaining popularity and control of their title that they were soon able to name a successor, an heir to inherit their greatness. The Village Elder would accept the heir if he/she could go beyond the predesessor's abilities. Balto's father was the second-to-last Guardian. He was an honest man who stuck with tradition and mastered the Ancient Wolf Fang Fist, which he taught to his son. However, due to Dr. Eggman wanting the power of the Master Emerald, a war broke out on Angel Island. Eggman was defeated, but Balto's father didn't make it. Once Balto turned 13, he resumed and completed his training. He demonstrated fine skills and became the current Guardian. Now, he watches over the Master Emerald and his family, but his adventurous spirit beckons him to travel to the outside world.
