1: What does their bedroom look like?
Considering he doesn't live in what had been his room in Ivalice once upon a time and instead lives in the bookstore, he's not sure if you could really call it a bedroom. Artemis has taken residence in one of the empty guest rooms for the time being and for the time being, it's barren of any real furniture save for some crumpled sheets and blankets others have donated to him that he uses as a bed as well as a old dresser where he stores what little clothing he does have.
He's got various jars of stuff he's been tinkering with scattered about the floor as well as discarded notes of what recipe worked and didn't work in his chicken scratch handwriting.
There's also a mountain of books about weapons, poisons, medical books and maps of Ivalice in a corner. There is also a few mushy romance novels hidden within said pile that have caught his fancy.
2: Do they have any daily rituals?
-Sleep
-Wake up early
-Set store up for opening as much as possible so the others don't have to work too hard
-Bother who ever comes in to open the cafe for this wondrous thing called caffeine and food since he's lazy to cook THAT early.
-Help out in the store during the day, most of it spent putting books back
-Help close store
-Read, relax and waste time probably trying to cook in the kitchen the bookstore has and hiding any evidence he had ever been in there or practice his knife throwing in his room. Sometimes he'll head outside of town to practice swordplay. The last thing he would probably do is continue experimenting and making potions and poisons.
-Rinse and repeat
3: Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often?
Artemis does enjoy going out outside for strolls and tends to wait until nightfall to venture to the small field on the outside of town to practice his sword play. He's also open to sparring and has done so a few times with Riddick since he came back.
He also does tons of sit ups, push ups and anything else he can think of to keep in shape.
4: What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy?
Usually lets others cook for him because good gods above he's akin to Jarlaxle when it comes to cooking.
5: Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.)
Personal: Allows himself to slouch a little or slack off if he doesn't feel like bathing or grooming himself for the day if there are no plans. A chaotic mess but hey. He knows where everything is. You sure as hell don't need to.
Workspace: Will wear a suit if possible because he's taken a fancy to them. Otherwise he'll wear his usual assassin garb if needed. Organized as hell.
6: Eating habits and sample daily menu
Artemis honestly enjoys bland foods. He grew up eating it out of necessity and the taste grew on him. While he is starting to enjoy foods cooked with spices and the like, it still tastes foreign and odd to him not to mention has difficulty eating or keeping down. He does heavily favor fruits however and loves all matter of fruits.
He also cannot stand sweets in any form. Cocoa is the best he can do considering he does not wish to hurt Elizabeth's feelings.
Breakfast: --Plain oatmeal or bagel
--Some kind of fruit as a snack.
Lunch: ---If someone cooked something for him, he'll eat it. Otherwise he'll eat more fruit.
--If he is hungry, he'll graze on grapes.
Dinner: --Probably plain cereal of some kind unless someone cooked him something.
7: Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time
Sleeping. It's something he took for granted and something he hardly did while enslaved back in his home world.
So long as one spends and considers whatever they are doing protective then so be it. He can't judge considering he sleeps for crying out loud.
8: Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging
Romance novels and feels one needs to be well disciplined as over indulgence is a bad thing. He should know considering he did kill a friend of sorts over it.
9: Makeup?
Yeah, no. Just no.
10: Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such?
Obessive-Compulsive personality disorder.
To answer the question, no. He doesn't. It's something he's always suffered from and honestly never knew it was a neuroses much less a disorder. Hannibal diagnosed him with it after a long line of questioning due to Hannibal noticing his distress at not having the books a certain way as well as unable to do anything about it as Liz didn't want him to scare away a customer for it.
11: Intellectual pursuits?
How to counter magic without relying on magic too much. Combating monsters within Ivalice properly once more. Using what he learns in medical knowledge to better kill people and monsters.
12: Favorite book genre?
Roman-----I mean adventure.
13: Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general?
Artemis tends to think of himself as a Demisexual meaning unless he forms a deep bond with another person, he does not hold any real sexual attraction to anyone. While he does prefer women, Artemis has often wondered what would happen if did find himself attracted to another man and is curious.
As for his thoughts on sexual orientation, he feels so long as they are both of age, consenting and make one another happy, he could care less.
14: Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.)
Does being grey skinned count? If it does, then sure, he's got one.
15: Biggest and smallest short term goal?
Biggest: Get more furniture. More than likely will forever live in the bookstore.
Smallest: Figure out a better way to put books back easier.
16: Biggest and smallest long term goal?
Biggest: Mend bridge between himself and Jarlaxle.
Smallest: Make new friends with the Arbiters of Gemini.
17: Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress
He's taken to wearing suits after being introduced to them while in the bookstore working. Other than that, he prefers comfortable, plain clothing such as jeans and a t-shirt.
18: Favorite beverage?
Coffee, tea and cocoa.
19: What do they think about before falling asleep at night?
Wherever did he go wrong to get such a betrayal? Can it be fixed and mended? Did he miss signs and omens?
20: Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them?
Depends on what you define as a childhood illness. If you mean colds and flus, it was just the usual and nothing interesting.
If you ever get it pried out of him then sure, he's got one hell of a interesting childhood 'illness.'
He was constantly abused by his 'father,' Belrigger, and was molested by his uncle Tosso. Eventually, his mother sold him to a ***** merchant who was, if anything, worse than his uncle; presumably, this is how reached Calimport
