Decor
Upon entering the home, you get a sense of elegance and tranquility from the decor. The walls are painted a warm, creamy sand color, and the walls are adorned in simple, traditional Japanese art. An occasional plant or silk flower can be spotted in nearly every room, and there is no clutter to be found. The foyer of the home is lit up by traditional paper lanterns that hang from the celing, providing a calm illumination that doesn't irritate tired eyes.
Perhaps the most traditional of these rooms are the Dining Area, Kitchen, and Training rooms, complete with tatami flooring and sliding doors, as well as the upper guest rooms on the East Wall.
The daughters have decorated their rooms in ways that they prefer, more or less, but the remainder of the house retains a sense of balance, mixing in an appropriate amount of modern style, while still paying tribute to tradition.
Residents
Setsuna can easily be found in her study, working on her designs, reading, sorting through papers of importance, and/or contacting her clients through computer and phone. She is never too busy to welcome a friend, and is glad to stop and chat with those that visit.
Tigers Eye spends a great deal of time in the Training/Exercise room during the day, but can also be found in the Living/Gathering Area which he often claims as his 'man cave.' He can be territorial, but is otherwise welcoming, even shameless around guests. (or anyone for that matter.)
Suzuka is never in the same place too long. When she is not at school, the eleven year old is often seen in the back yard, bounding around with limitless energy, climbing onto the roof, or leaving the rock garden in disarray. She always leaves her bedroom door open, and doesn't mind being social with visitors.
Juneko is elusive. The nine year old is often one who keeps mostly to herself, only leaving her room for school and for meals. She keeps her bedroom door closed at all times, and never says much to visitors, unless they are someone that she knows.
Saphir is a guest in this house, after having run into a bit of bad luck, he was in need of a place to stay. He has been welcomed into this home and is currently staying in the left guest room on the West Wall of the Second floor.
((To my family/friends. I hope that the descriptions above are appropriate. If you'd like me to edit and/or change something, please let me know. ^_^))
