Kalula's lovely little home within the windrose apartment complex. With what little money she took with her when she left home she redecorated the home to fit her needs. As you walk in you are assaulted by the calming smell of lemons and the feel of purple carpet under you is all you feel from the floor. The walls have been painted a dark red and along the hallway walls litter cute pictures of her family and of herself. Her bedroom has her bed, a few side tables, a small window and a bookshelf fitted with a purple leather chair beside the window. Her living room is lined with leather furniture of a few different shades of blue and purple. Her bathroom is simple, tiled, and kept very clean.
Her home is very simple and small, but the girl who lives within it is far from ordinary or simple... but she's pretty small.
If you come in, please wipe your feet and leave your shoes at the mat in front of the door...thank you!
It hasn't been long since the two newest addition to Kalula's family decided to waltz into her home. Kalula happened upon a young siren who seemed very down on her luck after coming to the big monster city! Kalula took her in and was spotted by an older female huntress. It soon became a fun little sleepover...that unfortunately didn't end. The three beauties now share the small home with young Rose sleeping upon Kalula's couch and the beautiful Yumi taking residence on the floor.

Got into his car with the siren in tow. She seemed inseparable from the hood now. One would need a jackhammer to separate the two. "Ok. So first, off to your place." Axel stated as he turned the key in the ignition and backed out of his parking spot at the beach. It was very foreboding how quickly the clouds were coming in. Axel could already see the rain pouring down in the distance as he drove off.
Soon, Axel and Rose arrived at the Windrose apartment complex. The rain was coming down hard by now, and it was quite annoying. "Gah. Better make a run for it. Your place is on the first floor right?" The hood asked turning off his car and pulling the key out. "Ok. Let's go!" Axel then sped off and ran for the front door to the apartment, dreading the feeling of being soaked by the rain.

Axel was utterly speechless. Rose's display of power was absolutely breathtaking. It shouldn't have come as such a surprise though. She was a siren. they had powers...right? Axel was aware of their singing abilities, he just didn't know Rose was able to manipulate the weather.
When the siren came up to the hoodlum, completely untouched by dripping water like he was, she apologized for not telling him. Axel merely stood in silence before accepting Rose's apology. "It's fine." He laughed nervously as he followed her inside the apartment. Axel noticed that people were looking at the two of them, and Rose wasn't unusually close to him now, at least until they reached her door. Instantly the boy's nose was greeted by the scent of lemon when entering.
Axel noticed the array of shoes next to the door. "Must be the asian thing." He murmured before taking his shoes off and setting them next to the door. instantly, the hood felt defensively. He went just about anywhere in his shoes. Axel then notice how the whole apartment was an eerie dark red. In other time, this might be very sensual, especially for the telekinetics relationship with the siren. The living room was less so, as the hood carefully sat himself down on the leather sofa. The shades of blue and purple was foreign but not unwelcoming.
Axel remained quiet as he sat there on the sofa, until Rose spoke up from the kitchen. "I'll have a root beer if you have one." The mentioning of that hunter from before, Yumi then put Axel on edge. Hopefully, she wasn't anywhere to be found. The hoodlum then began to think. Did Rose understand that Axel wasn't completely human himself? He was almost what you would call a mutate with psychic powers. Should he tell her? Maxy Wexerg (Ah. That's a much better post. i was ashamed of how small my last one was.)

Rose scuttled around the fridge before finding the item in question for the male. Kalula wasn't a ritzy person but when it came to sodas and ciders, she only felt right getting them in bottles. She moved to sit beside the male with the drinks and handed his to him before setting her bottle down and moving to the kitchen. "Give me a second ok Axel? I'm gonna call my friend." She slipped the home phone from it's charger and called her friendly neighborhood bookkeeper. "Hey there K, I was wondering if you would let us go with you tonight to the movies...don't worry we have our tickets. Some random guy actually gave them to us..." She startled to tease the little coil around the phone. "NO WAY! You actually got a date? I'm kidding!" She giggled. "Well then, it will be a double date." With a few words from the bustling bookkeeper she hung up and turned back to her hood.
"Good news, when we go to the movies with those tickets we can go ahead and see the movie Kalula's watching. She's even bringing a new boyfriend of hers." Rose was actually kind of excited to hear that Kalula was beginning to find something to enjoy about this place. She always seemed so preoccupied. She would often look out into nothingness...and even talk to it sometimes. It was nice to know she was getting to know the world and herself. The siren looked to her suitcase and thought about the different outfit choices she would have for tonight. Kalula was probably wearing one her best outfits...
Rose moved to Axel and sat down next to him on the couch just in time to realize something. This would be the second time today she's ambushed him into taking him somewhere. "Y'know...if you have better things to do I won't mind going by myself..." She had taken up his entire day and was starting to think that eventually she was going to annoy him...
He was a cool guy, a handsome guy, and amazing guy all around. He probably had a lot of other friends to hang out with.

Axel sat there quietly on the couch with his drink. He hadn't even opened it. the hood simply held the cold soda can in his hands and sat as if he was meditating. It was rather nerve racking just sitting there. Axel had no idea of what he was suppose to do. It probably also didn't help to have his body taking matters into it's own hands and wake a 'certain someone' up randomly as the siren came and sat down again.
Axel had heard the telephone conversation Rose had had clearly from where he sat. Apparently, they were going on a double date with her roommate to the movies. Axel got a rather bad and foreboding feeling about it all.
Rose then asked the hood who was deep in thought if she was intruding on his daily rituals. "No." Axel blurted out, realizing he felt like he had just woken up. "I got nothing better to do. No one is expecting me." The hood then looked back to the soda can in his hand. A sense of guilt swelling up inside. Axel breathed a heavy sigh and put the can down on the coffee table in front of him. "Hey Rose. There's something I need to come clean about." Axel could already feel tension in the air building as he turned to the siren.
"I like you Rose. Like, really like. I know we've only known each other for barely a day's time, but I've already got..feelings." Axel's confession then lead to look back at the unopened soda on the table. "That's why, I need to show you something and come clean. Look at the can." The hood then stared at the pull tab on top of the can. It was undisturbed, free of faults. Then, the tab began to bend and lift all on its own. The round opening in the middle began to give way and release pressure. It no time at all, the can was open, all by itself.

Axel seemed distant when Rose looked upon him. It was like his entire mind was focusing on something before he blurted his rebuttal. The male's quick blurt made the soft siren jump in her seat and in a flash she looked down at her fingers which were cleanly wrapped around her own drink. The cold condensation numbed her dainty fingers and fell down to cover her knees in it's embrace. His next words were pretty mixed in her thoughts. Nothing better to do sounded like she wasn't worth it, maybe something better was around just not present right now. When he looked back at his drink the two kept their gazes away from eachother and the tension inside the beauty was welling up enough to make her index and pinkie fingers shake fervently.
His sigh made her shoulders fall and slowly she looked back to him. Her bones began to feel chilled and he looked to the can almost like he was angry at it. If her eyes could go wide she would have allowed them to when his comment fell upon her realization. Come clean? What could he possibly mean by that?
Thoughts swarmed her mind until he continued. Feelings huh? She looked to the can as he instructed, the air about it was almost overstated as calm until the tab moved by itself! The can had opened itself then and the hiss of air proved it. Axel...was he trying to say he was telekinetic?
For a moment the only thing heard was silence. Rose really had to think about what she would do next, she knew how to feel about this but had to approach it in a way that was hers. She drew close to him and leaned close so their warm bodies could touch and she kissed his cheek softly. "When my parents found out who my parents were, they also found out I was a siren..." She set her left cheek down against the hood's shoulder and leaned close to him, no longer caring about herself being seen as clingy. "They gave me their love and some money and told me to live my dream, become a star, and find my family." She closed her eyes and placed her drink on the table so she could put her hands together on her lap. "I told them that I would find my real parents, but my family would always be here...they loved me knowing I was a siren...they loved me knowing I never belonged to them. They taught me to love hard...and never judge a person for what they are..." Her significant pauses seemed touching but honestly they were only there to stop her from reveling in sad thoughts. "I have feelings too Axel, no matter what..."

Axel felt his heart glow with warmth when Rose pecked his cheek and told him how she was taught to love and accept others for who they were, not what they were. The hood could feel his whole body warming up as he could feel himself growing closer to the siren. With a light smile on his face, the hoodlum scooted closer to the girl. "Thank you, Rose." Axel was tempted to put his arm around the siren and hold her in a loving embrace. His nervousness however only allowed him to scoot his hand closer to hers. Axel's pinky finger just nearly touching Rose's hand before pulling away slowly as the hood beat back his urges.
The hood breathed a sigh and hung his head. He could hear music in his head. Not like the songs that the siren herself could sing with her magical voice. No, these were songs from Axel's mere human mind. Rhythmic percussions and soft melodies from a piano. It was his own personal music to fit the mood.

When the boy jumped away from her she could only smile. For looking like such a tough guy, Axel was really soft sometimes. She took a sip of her soda and placed it softly on the table before standing. With the warmth of the other off of her she had more time to shake away her more romantic feelings and bring on the logical! "Did you want something to eat before we head to the movie or are you planning simply to enjoy your fill of popcorn?" She leaned forward so she could look passed his hood and with a quick flick of her wrist and a pointed finger she shot his hood off so she could get a look at his messy hair. She fought back a giggle and failed before standing erect again before the male. "I should also coordinate my outfit so I look nice...can't have Kalula stealing you away now that we're together....we are together right?"

Lost in the moment, Axel felt like he had come crashing down from the sky when Rose stood up. He could feel her presence leave once she got up. The warmth from her left his side, but it still radiated from her simple kind personality. "Um, I didn't really have anything in mind. What do you have, though?" the boy asked as the siren drew close to him and flicked his hood off. The hood instantly felt vulnerable. The whole world could see his face. Axel soon remember though that he was in Rose's home. there was nothing to fear. No prying eyes to scare him.
It was rather cute when the siren laughed. Axel couldn't help but give a chuckle as well and reached to take a sip of his own drink. When he set it down though, Rose had asked him if the two were a couple. Axel's eye's widen and the pace of his heart jumped. If the feeling of his heart could manifest itself into a person, they would be skipping and dancing. But instead, Axel was merely reserved and looked up at Rose with expectant eyes. "I think we are." He said awkwardly. Immediately his mind was lashing him for the ungodly dumb response. "I mean yes!" These words came the heart as Axel jerked himself forward. Who in their right mind would say no to such a cute girl?

"Oh Axel, that makes me feel so happy, I've never had a boyfriend before." She looked away from him as her hands flew quickly to her cheeks as the warmth of crimson dusted its way across her cheeks. "I-I'll make you something after I change ok? I have the perfect idea..." She was so nervous, she felt as if they were in their own home for a split second! A real couple situation!
Slowly the bathing suit clad girl retreated to one of the nearby bedrooms and stripped herself of her clothes after making sure to clothes and lock the door. It was a sheer understatement to say she was in a hurry but honestly she just wanted to hurry back out to him, she wanted to stay with him in this romantic moment for as long as possible...they were officially a couple! She ran her soft ivory hands through her pretty brown hair before accessorizing. With a dab of makeup she was finished, and to her own satisfaction she looked great!
After leaving the bedroom in her new outfit she didn't bother to ask his opinion and instead moved to the kitchen passed him. She remembered the last time she asked for his opinion and it was less than favorable. "Umm...are you lactose intolerant because I was thinking grilled swiss cheese sandwiches?"

Axel waited by himself for a moment. The apartment was quiet. Thank goodness Rose's roommates weren't there. The would have put this moment of innocent romance that. To keep himself busy, Axel drank from his can of root beer via his powers. It was amusing for the first ten seconds, and then it became boring. He set the can of carbonate fizz down and stood up. Walking to the kitchen part of the apartment. Axel seemed to eye the knife set on the counter. Disgusting thought came into his mind of his brother. The thought was instantly banished when Rose came back wearing just the cutest outfit Axel had ever seen. Then again, when didn't she look absolutely adorable. "Well if it isn't miss adorable." He jabbed playfully. When asked if he was allergic to anything, Axel smiled and shook his head. "Not that I'm aware of. I usually eat whatever I like."

Rose blushed instantaneously as he complimented her. Maybe she was simply overthinking herself. The boy must like the way she looked...she was his girlfriend after all! The thought of that made her smile so wide, she felt like a little girl who just gained her first crush on an older man. She quickly buttered bread and grilled it with two slices of Swiss for each sandwich.
Rose was actually quite a cook, aside from singing she was actually quite a taste tester. Like Axel she would just eat around and she was always willing to try everything which led her to constantly experiment with her cooking. This led immediately to a fantastic ability to hash out quick and delicious meals. As the cheese began to soften she added a small shake of salt to each piece to add a salty tang. Flipping each one she made sure not to burn herself and eventually she had two for each eater and one left over just in case. "Y-your so sweet Axel..." She stammered before softly and carefully moving the hot morsels onto two twin plates and heading back into the room. She set both of the plates onto the table and sat close to her...boyfriend. With her hands carefully placed on her lap she waited for him to try the food.
"I added a pinch of salt if that's ok, I was told that American cheese is made with it's own but Swiss needs just a bit...to give it a special kick..." She blushed and looked away from him, she couldn't help but feel like a dutiful girlfriend, making her man food...it was slightly wonderful.

The hoodlum happily took the sandwich, but not with his hands. Since his newfound girlfriend knew of his powers, there was no reason to suppress or hide it. He sat down on the couch next to her and had the sandwich float ghostishly to his mouth. Axel took a bite, letting melted oozing cheese stretch out into thin stringy bridges. It tasted quite good. The cheese had a slightly bland taste, but that common with Swiss cheese. It had a foreign taste compared to the dairy cheese of America. "It's good." The hoodlum said with a smile on his lips. Axel went to take another bite of the sandwich before drinking from his soda. Amidst the growing silence, Axel scooted just a tiny bit closer to Rose. The siren would obviously be able to tell what with the shifting weight in the cushions of the sofa. "I don't think I've had such a good sandwich in a long while."

Rose watched In slight awe as the male ate away with his powers. She could imagine lazy days cuddling with him as he used his powers to do a variety of neat things! Rose noticed how close he had scooted and she smirked playfully before doing the same and even cuddling her arms around one of his before leaning her head softly onto his shoulder.
The little siren couldn't be happy with how free they were together, now they could tell each other anything without any worry. She smiled with eyes half lidded as he complimented her skills in the kitchen. "Of course, I do my best for who I'm cooking for..." She closed her eyes and drank in the essence of this moment. She felt so young...
Moments later she released the male and ate her own sandwich, she had practiced eating her food slowly and daintily when around someone she considered a crush. To be honest she was excited to practice. With one hand daintily placed in her lap her other hand grabbed the bread before lightly putting it to her mouth. Next came the napkin swipe which removed any unneeded crustlets. She must have looked really silly actually...
"Oh, Don't forget, the movie starts soon so when we're finished we should go."
