Welcome to the Lady Bug's Breath a story RP, here you will find all the opening information this is a must read post.

Setting:
Pre World war Japan, same setting as memoris of a geisha really.
The world is heading to war but the econimy in Japan can be booming for any produceing wepons but poor for the farm familes. Geisha are a common thing to see on the arms of the rich. Families in teh city raised there girls and young boys to know that the geisha is a honerable tradition and that being a geisha was something you wanted to be, few boys got to be a geisha, many were never really allowed into the training, being boys and all. But the odd one made it.
Life was hard, yet never ending.

Miko and Matho were identical all but one way, Matho was a boy and Miko a sweet dainty girl. There mother was always telling them that it would be good if they both learned honest work, and honest work was what they were taught. Miko learned to read and write with her brother while tending to the family farm as young children, they had time to play and go to the city life was always rich with there family. There mother was once a prized geisha and was smart she put her money away and now was able to help with her family, her husband a farmer who had showed her love, love that was never judgeing, love that she needed.
Now they lived out side of tokyo japan and tended to few livestock and a small rice feild it kept clothes on the kids backs, and food in there bellies and when they had extra money there mother would buy another book to teach them from.
It was a good honest life.
