Piercings are another one of my passions.

I first got pierced when I was 10 years old, just a set of lobe piercings. Unfortunately it was done the wrong way with a piercing gun and I suffered the consequences. Improper fitting jewellery, and improperly trained person doing the procedure left me with a swollen piercing that ended up growing over the backing of the stud. (Not to mention uneven piercings, and piercing guns scar you) It was brutal I had to go to the doctor and have it cut out. I'm surprised it's not brutally scarred but it's a lesson I learned so I can impart this wisdom on you.

Never ever ever get pierced by a piercing gun! They're not sterile, and they scar you instead of created a fistula like they should. You should always be pierced properly with a needle, by a professional piercer whom has a portfolio for you to look at.

When did you get your first piercing? What did you get? Where'd you get it done?
