This listing is as yet still incomplete but will be finished as time allows.
This is a listing of playable races. Any race can play as any class, but be advised that some races may endure a penalty.
Human: this, as always, is the happy medium of all RPGs everywhere it seems Classes: Any Leans toward: Neutral Affinity: Neutral Bonus: N/A Penalty: N/A Specials: Adjusts faster to any class because there are no huge mental or physical hurdles because they sit comfortably in the middle and don't have to go as far to reach anyone extreme. Notes: Humans are the majority race in Omens and because of this their maneuverability in social setting and intelligence gathering may be easier in human crowds.
Dark elf: Classes: Leans toward: Affinity: Dark Bonus: Dexterity and Intelligence Penalty: Specials: Notes:
Siva: Classes: Leans toward: Affinity: Bonus: Penalty: Specials: Notes:
Elf: Classes: Leans toward: Affinity: Dexterity and Mental Bonus: Penalty: Specials: Notes:
Phooka: Classes: Leans toward: Affinity: Light Bonus: Intelligence and Aspect Penalty: Specials: Notes:
Nymph: Classes: Leans toward: Affinity: Bonus: Aspect and Presence Penalty: Specials: Notes:
Satre: Classes: Leans toward: Affinity: Bonus: Penalty: Specials: Notes:
Fae: Classes: Leans toward: Affinity: Bonus: Intelligence and Wisdom Penalty: Strength Specials: Notes: Faeries and such would be under Fae
Half races, as a standard, are human or elf and something else, although you are free to choose (upon approval) your own half race. Other races and be mixed (I.E. giants and sivas), however, the mix MUST be approved by both Kobaar, Winter AND I as well as be accompanied by a detailed character profile. This is because some mixes are just too powerful and would encourage power gaming.
Half elf: again, a favorite standard Classes: Any Leans toward: Neutral - positive Affinity: Earth Bonus: Dexterity and mental Penalty: Specials: Notes:
Half ogre: Classes: Leans toward: Nuetral-Negative Affinity: Bonus: Strength and Stamina Penalty: Dexterity and Intelligence Specials: Notes:
Half Giant: Classes: Leans toward: Affinity: Bonus: Strength and Presence Penalty: Dexterity and Aspect Specials: Notes:
The following races MUST have approval from Kobaar, Winter AND I and will be STRICTLY monitored for power gaming! These races are very powerful and can be power played easily. The following are mainly played by the admins here because we have been playing these characters faithfully since this game was in its infancy. Our characters are leads chars in the RP to:
1. Uphold order and fair play. We won't power play beyond the point of our positions in the Guild. We can take our bumps too, but don't expect to kill us. Myth, Kobaar, Winter and Sierra moderate the RP like we moderate the guild.
2. By having our characters present it will help us to work the bugs out of the actual game.
Alistor: Classes: Leans toward: Any Affinity: Dark Bonus: Penalty: Specials: Notes:
Anikim: Classes: Leans toward: Any Affinity: Light Bonus: Penalty: Specials: Notes:
Ifrit: Classes: Leans toward: Neutral-Positive Affinity: Fire Bonus: Dexterity and Strength Penalty: Specials: Notes:
Djinn: Classes: Leans toward: Positive Affinity: Air Bonus: Dexterity and Wisdom Penalty: Specials: Notes: Djinn suffer a penalty (nitemares, depression, anxiety) when doing something that isn't for his/her or a good cause (such as stealing or killing without reason.) Generally due to strong convictions, Djinn tend to have the upper hand when facing evil.

Also a note that certian "power races" will of course drawbacks that help keep things fair. For instance, if you transform into your big bad half demon form constantly you'd better be ready for major concequences. Usually with such a huge power bost there will be an equally large concequence to balance the characters out so you'll have to look before you leap so to speak.
