Personality: John is honest, trustworthy, bold, and sometime brash. This doesn't mean he doesn't have his faults, everyone does. He has a tendency to wear his heart on sleeve and put his all into his work which sometimes isn't the best tactic. He blames himself when he believes he could have done something, because he wants to believe he can be everywhere, save everyone. Even though he knows it's not true. Though due to this behavior, he carries himself as a lone wolf and can be very secretive. However for a certain cause, he'll go against his ways.
History:
Johnathan Eko was born on a snowy Christmas Eve, 1993 in the middle of a blackout. His parents, Meredith Alina Eko and James Ethan Eko, were well off officers from the US Navy living in Michigan. Growing up, John was taught the values of an American and how to be a soldier and was treated as such. Despite being only five, his parents sent him off to a military bordering school. They expected him to excel. Achieve, and one day become something that they could love with all their hearts. However, he was a disappointment, taking up an interest in acting which his parents found quite disturbing and never showed up at any of his plays.
As John grew older, he noticed this disappointment and took up a pass time he had developed over the years, Chess at the age of seven. His parents supporting him, finally took more of an interest in him. By the age of nine, he was considered to be a spectacular chess player, having led the junior chess team to internationals and coming home with first place. However, he soon left the team to pursue boxing.
As he grew older, his parents became more distant and started to seem somewhat, transparent. This led to John, living a disruptive lifestyle for a while and developing a habit of smoking, which died out when he was eighteen when his parents died. He was told it was a tragic accident, but no one ever went into details. Despite all the things he did, he failed to truly gain their attention in the end. It was in those moments, his X- Gene activated unbeknownst to him.
At their funeral, he was approached by a woman named Mystique she was beautiful until she dropped her form. She offered him a chance to get revenge for parents’ death and achieve an inner peace. After a heated debate, he took her up on that offer. A few days after the funeral, he was approached by Scott and invited to Xavier’s. His mission: To infiltrate the X-Men.

Boxing: John is a pretty decent boxer, he may not be the best, be he is definitely not the worse. However, he uses his strength and weaknesses in order to win. He isn't an opponent to underestimate.
Acting: John is a skilled actor and sees this as a passion.
Acrobatics: Due to his mutation, John is becoming a better acrobat by the day.
Parkour: Due to his schooling background, Parkour became a serious pastime for John. This skill is one of the main reason, he is picking up on the flight aspect of his mutation.

Powers:
Biotic Field: John is capable of producing a biotic field around his body that is capable of many things, but in every form. This field allows him the ability to fly up to the most of 100 mph in every field. [Default field color is yellow]
- Black: When the aura is emitting this color, John is capable of becoming agile, swift, and the ability to react faster. Allowing him to move up 60 mph on his own.
- Blue: When the aura is emitting this color, John is capable of lifting 2 tons and durable enough to be hit by a eighteen wheeler and be relatively fine with only scrap and bruises.
- Red: When the aura is emitting this color, John is capable of absorbing all forms of energy and releasing it in a bomb like fashion. (Can't switch auras unless the energy is released or taught. All energy can be released as concussive force or pure energy, but otherwise. It can only be release as what was absorbed.)
- Green: When the aura is emitting this color, John is capable of healing himself and others. (Until he can control his powers, he can only heal himself. When he heals himself or others, he becomes exhausted faster.
- Silver: When the aura is emitting this color, John is capable of combining all of these colors, for a great price. After five minutes, he will pass out, unable to be awaken for at least an hour, but even then. He will not be able to use this form again until he regains energy which will take a day or two.
Weaknesses:
John is incapable of using two auras at once.
John is incapable of controlling his power unless he is angry or aggressive.
John is only capable of triggering the black aura, none of the others.
John is unaware of the red, silver, and green aura.
John can be harmed by things that can harm humans as long as he is not using his biotic field.
