Sol's History w i p Before the Liger Zero was affectionately named Sol, the Liger Zero belonged to a member of the National Guard's heavy artillery unit, Havoc Strider. Havoc outfitted the Liger with the Panzer Unit, and generally made his Liger a force to be reckoned with. When his unit stepped out onto the battlefield, it struck fear into the hearts of man. He upgraded the Panzer Unit with more destructive long range weaponry and an arsenal of high powered close range weapons. Though it did have it's own share of weaknesses. For one, the armor unit was far too heavy for the Liger and it caused strain when trying to move, and usually overheated the cockpit. So essentially the unit became a destructive sitting duck. During an intense battle the Panzer unit was damaged and could not be removed from the Liger.
Through the next few years Havoc made a large number of deals with the local, at the time, merchant Darius Pryce. Modifications were made to the Liger and even though it was stuck with the Panzer unit, it still held it's own against a number of diverse opponents. It's unknown when, but at a certain time in his life, Havoc decided to stop dealing with Darius deciding that he had no business with criminals. Darius sought revenge against the man, and sabotaged the Liger before it's next big battle.
The Liger had a temporary systems failure during combat, and it proved to be fatal.
