spaceDeirdre grinned widely when Tassy finally appeared, returning the woman's hug enthusiastically. When they separated, the Irishwoman was looking her friend up and down, arching a brow, and amused smirk on her face. "The cardigan is because I'm chilly, not because I'm hiding, you neddy," she said. "And you've got no room to talk; I've never seen you in so many damned clothes! Next you'll be joining a convent!" The man who'd entered with Tassy, who Dee could only assume was Les based on the fact that he was with Tassy and that he was bald, coughed awkwardly, clearly trying to cover up a laugh. She looked him up and down next, pursing her lips. "Oh, you've got no room to talk. Thought this was a pub crawl, not a damned board meeting," she said, earning an odd look from the guy, much to her amusement.
spaceTassy's introduction was met with a satisfied hum from the muggle woman, who was as always pleased to be complimented. She chuckled, though, at the annoyed look Les got on his face when Tassy called him a thing. He glared at the Scot, eyes narrowed on her. "Tassy, I know you tend not to be able to focus on more than one thing at a time, but you know, there is a whole person attached, you should really talk about more than my-"
spaceHis words were cut off when another woman crashed into Tassy. Dee was actually a little impressed when the man's hands reached out to try and help steady the woman who'd stumbled. Well, not impressed necessarily, but pleased, certainly. From what she'd heard about him, and what he'd been about to say, she hadn't been sure what exactly to expect from the guy. His supposed horribleness seemed very much at odds with Tassy's personality; Dee had a hard time imagining the woman fancying a man who was even half as bad as she tried to make Les sound sometimes. But then, she'd always figured most of that was the Scot not wanting to admit that she was totally and absolutely falling for him. Which, she was. No way around it, in spite of what Tassy would say. The auburn-haired woman had to wonder if he was as bad as she was... Probably. If he'd tried to get serious, Tassy would've run for the hills.
space"I think you're fine," he was saying, smiling pleasantly at the woman. "We haven't even ordered drinks yet, so no party foul, and I'm sure Tassy's alright." His eyes drifted to her, questioning. "Tas, you're okay, right?" he asked, and Dee almost squealed at the look of concern. Oh, they were so dating. Whether they wanted to admit it or not.
spaceDee offered the newcomer a cheeky grin. "Well, if I know my friend, I'd say you could always make it up to her by buying her a drink," she said with a wink.
spaceLes frowned at Dee. "If Tassy lets some strange woman buy her a drink and won't let me pick up her tab, I'm done with the lot of you," he said dryly. He then glanced at the woman, expression apologetic. "Strange as in unknown. Not in an insulting manner. My friend tends to put too much value on her 'strong independent woman' schtick," he told her.
spaceDee snorted, elbowing the Slytherin. "If you're that inclined to pay the way, you can have my tab, then. Let someone other than Johnny keep me afloat for a night. Besides, I'm pretty sure Tassy'll break your bank. I'm much easier to support," she chirped. She then offered the brunette another grin. "I'm Dee, by the by. And this is Tassy, and her... thing, Les," she informed her, nose crinkling in amusement at the exasperated expression on the man's face when she, too, called him a 'thing.' Well, at least she'd called him Tassy's thing, right? Then again, he probably didn't want to admit that's what he was.
