The Barge Cafe The Barge Cafe is a large red Gondola that traverses the Canals; itnot only serves as a great mode of transport and sightseeing but also the greatest cup of tea.
The Barge Cafe can stop at any of it's designated mooring points for a limited amount of time in order to collect more customers and gain new ones at each interval. They also do fantastic dinner and lunch services and even have the ability to affix a roof onto the Gondola's frame and pretty much carry on trading even through the wet.

Ring. Ring. Ri- On the third the phone was answered. Of course she had to make a few calls before resting. Sliding the shades from her eyes and looking away from the Gondola as other passengers boarded. She didn't say much, simply stared as she was given information on the current situation of loans in Undertown. Her head shifted ever so lightly, looking to the passengers walking by her. "Then kill him." The phone slid closed, and she threw it over the ledge into the water as she crossed the bridge between the dock and the Gondola itself. A burner, it was best when you were in a business like this to never keep a phone tied to any kind of criminal activities. Even if it was ever found, there was no way to tie it to you. As if she had not just marked a man for death, she slid the shades back onto her face. Legs strutting through the crowd, blending in, no that was impossible. There was something about her that made her stand out. It could be her open blouse and jacket. Perhaps her long legs. Maybe the sway of her hips that rose the low cut skirt to tease the men she passed by. Either way, when she walked she drew in a small amount of attention at the very least.
She hung out near the railing, letting the salty air from the ocean wash over her. Arms resting along the sides and staring out to the open sea. She wasn't exactly here for the tea, as nice as that sounded. As others settled in, there were bound to be those that got off. One passed her by, a rather official looking man in a suit. He stopped in front of her, wrapped a hand around her waist and pulled her close. Her hand went to her back, resting atop his as they lingered near each other's face. Intense, staring, perhaps they were going to kiss. But before anything happened the man was gone. Pulling the paper she had gotten from him to her face and reading the contents of it. She snapped, and the paper incinerated into nothing. Flash paper, the kinds magicians used for their amazing feats. It worked well for secret messages to, read what you needed then dispose of it nearly immediately. As long as she could remember what was written, she'd never have a problem.
Her steps carried her to the upper deck of the industrial sized Gondola. Taking a seat at a table with an already prepared kettle of tea. Of course, these arrangements were made by the gentleman she had just encountered before. She lifted the cup to her mouth and took a sip. Yes, still fresh, and very much hot. She slid the shades off, letting them sit on the table beside her. "So, he got away." It was a shame, hunting down people was always a problem. It got bloody when witnesses had to disappear.

It was one of those days that Constantine was going through at the moment, having to deal with an abundance of calls from various business partners and friends his father had made before he passed away. To add onto all of that he'd just recently lost the keys to his Presidential Suite that he was living in. Though the bad luck didn't end there, for the moment he walked out of the hotel he'd been splashed by a large puddle of water, soaking his suit and him to the bone. After a few hours of wandering about the city he'd dried off enough to warrant stopping somewhere to eat and potentially find something to quench his thirst. It was with this thought in mind that Constantine decided to board the so called "Barge Cafe" as he'd heard many people refer to it as. It was considered a nice place to eat at, since it allowed a good view and apparently made good food to eat. With that thought in mind he stepped atop the bridge connecting the dock and the Gondola, walking up it to stop atop the main deck. It was quite a large place to behold, but he'd seen larger in his days traveling around with his father doing work on the hotels.
»XXXXXThankfully after walking for hours his suit looked like a slightly wrinkled business outfit, one that looked to have a lot of wear now that the fabric was damaged by the water that landed on it. Loosening the black tie he'd been wearing, Constantine walked over to the railing nearest to the dock, looking over it with a calm gaze before turning to lean against it while he pulled his phone from his pocket. Opening the contact list on the phone he scrolled down until he found the number he was looking for. It was one of the only numbers he kept in his phone that wasn't for business, even though some people would consider his bartender/friend business he just referred to him as one of his close friends. The name Himuro Kazunari was displayed in large letters on the screen of his phone, with the number to his friends phone directly below it. Pressing the call button he placed it against his ear, closing his eyes as it rang briefly before the distinct sound of a person picking up the phone echoed throughout the speaker and into his ear. Hearing that he spoke quietly, his heavily accented charming voice reaching the ears of those around him alongside the person on the opposite end of his phone easily. "Ah Himuro, I'm glad I caught you before one of your parties. I was hoping you could come meet me at The Barge Cafe for lunch, oh and if possible could you bring me a change of clothes? I had some rather unfortunate luck this morning and well. lets just say I need a new suit. " With that said he hung up the phone, not giving the man much of a chance to respond to the request but giving him enough time to speak about his party or the lunch plan.
»XXXXXDespite the rather hasty decision to eat at the Barge Cafe, he knew he could get a reservation in a good spot due to his popularity and class. It brought in more business being able to say one of the largest businessman ate at their restaurant, something he knew rather well due to his various lessons with his dad. He was able to get things others couldn't just due to his name, even when he wanted to decline said bonuses those offering would simply insist so he would agree eventually. Shaking his head he reached up to run his fingers through his long blonde hair, leaning back to look at the sky for a moment before letting a deep sigh. Despite the rather horrible start to his day it could only get better from there on out, so long as out of nowhere his hotels didn't light on fire. Chuckling nervously at that thought Constantine walked over to the Hostess, asking for a seat on the top deck. Almost instantly the woman nodded, realizing who he was before walking with him to the top of the Gondola restaurant. The woman showed him to his seat, which he noted was rather close to the middle of the boat, which left him very little to look at while he waited. That was at least until he looked to the side and caught out of the corner of his eyes a rather beautiful brown haired girl sitting at a table drinking what he assumed to be tea. She was visually appealing, something he could tell was a thought shared by others as he caught them staring blatantly at the girl with lust filled eyes. Chuckling to himself Constantine ordered a small glass of alcohol, stating he didn't really care what kind specifically he was given. Glancing at the girl he'd noticed the blonde-haired male stood up, making his way over to her slowly. »XXXXXWhen he reached her table he spoke, giving a polite bow as he did so. "Ah pardon me miss, but I couldn't help but come over to ask if you'd mind sharing a drink with me. Though I suppose I should just offer more of whatever it is you're currently drinking." Giving a charming smile that he'd practiced for a few years, Constantine waited patiently for the woman's response, keeping the polite bow for a moment longer before standing up straight once again. Thankfully with his many years experience in standing around with his partners and friends, he'd grown accustomed to waiting for people to answer questions or requests. He didn't expect much given his current appearance but as many had said before, it didn't hurt to try. Even if he did look somewhat like a man wearing an old suit from years prior, despite it being the truth. His suit was quite old, but he kept it as a memento of his father whom bought it for him as a gift for earning his first "Business Partner" in his friend Himuro. This was of course when he purchased the mans own chain of hotels to merge them with Marquise National. Shaking his head once more to end the rather lengthy tangent Constantine placed his hands behind his back, deciding it would make him more presentable versus the somewhat strange stance he held prior. Something he'd learned to do a very long time ago, back when he was nothing but a teenager trying to act professional.

It wasn't long after the call that Himuro was on his way to the Barge Cafe. His best friend had called him for some help and a opportunity to get some free food which had basically wiped away whatever activities he had planned for that evening. Sure there were a few parties going about that he wouldn't of minded attending, but getting the chance to hang with his friend on a non-business occasion was a rare opportunity and ones that he cherished. The purple haired man was a mixed attire, that of a white collared shirt, a red loose tie, accompanied by a dark grey cardigan with his lower attire simply being baggy pants held up by a belt and the newest pair of sneaks on the market.
↳↳............ Over the tall male's shoulder being held in place by his hand was hanging a giant plastic bag that obviously contained some seriously expensive clothing articles inside. His other hand contained a chocolate bar that was already halfway eaten. "Man oh man.. Constantine must be having quite the bad luck today. He forgot his key on the drawer by the shoe rack next to the door this morning and also ruined his suit? I hope it doesn't rub off on me.. I had enough bad luck last week as it was. Seriously, only managing to get three woman back to my room? Ughh.." With a sigh Himuro pushed the thoughts out of his mind, it practically gave him a headache just thinking about it.
↳↳............ After making a left Himuro was now only a few feet away from his destination, so close in fact that as he observed the large gondola he could notice the rather obvious hair of a very important person on the top deck. Giving off a half-assed smile he would pick up the pace slightly before finally making his way onto the boat. Turning sharply on his heel he would begin the travels to the top deck, making a small detour only to throw away the candy wrapper. As he arrived at the top of the stairs he turned to look at the last place he say Constantine but the male wasn't there which caused the purple haired male to sigh in annoyance as his eyes narrowed. Figuring he might of been imagining things, thought he doubted it deep down, he turned to head back down the stairs. To his surprise however, he caught another glimpse of his best friend with a rather.. attractive.. woman. His expression relaxed and his lips curved into a crisp cocky smile.
↳↳............ "Oh Constantine~" he called out before making his way towards what some people would call his "Business Partner" and others his "Boss". "You seemed to have forgotten your key on the drawer by the door man, come on. That is sooooo not like you dude. Oh, here is your suit you requested by the way.." As if to prematurely cockblock the male before he even had a chance, Himuro placed the bag that contained the change on clothes on top of his friend's head. Stepped to his side he looked down at the female, giving her a once over before speaking up, "Did you lie to me? Is this a business meeting Constantine-senpai..? No.. No, this can't be a business meeting. She is too good looking to work with you." Giving a teasing chuckle the male bowed as well. "Himuro Kazunari at your service. It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss..?" He gave a dragging tone to the question as if asking her to fill in the blank for him by telling him her name. ™

It was such a lovely day, she couldn't help but wonder the point behind such extreme measure. Regardless, before her tea got cold she would like to finish her first cup. Pouring another shortly there after. The approach of the blond haired male spiked her interest, and those of several patrons around her. Even if they didn't look, the mobbish and secretive patrons that dined casually with one another. No doubt they were with her, and they maintained their cover well. She lifted her shades and placed them on the opening of her jacket. A flag, telling them to stand down. There was no need for immediate hostilities towards someone they had just met. He wouldn't interfere with the meeting, Giani would never show his face if he didn't have a clear opening. "You know, I've always wondered about those men who bowed when they met women." Her hands laced daintily together on the table top, an ever so slight smile pressed onto her lips. "I would love to share a drink, if you would care to tell me why you bow." Her legs crossed, raising the already short skirt a bit higher. No, she wasn't teasing him, but this way of sitting was always much more comfortable. Again, she would lift the cup of tea, eyes sliding closed as she took in a sip.
He wasn't too interesting, other than his unique hairstyle. Accompany that with the dynamic clash of his suit, and he would certainly cause her to look more than once. An oddity, yet normal ... no, that wasn't it. She couldn't quite put her finger on it. But she would in due time. With the addition of his name, she would have found out why something about this man struck her as spectacular. The owner of a chain of Hotels, yes, he was certainly a spectacle all on his own. Constantine Marquise, impossible that someone who handles money like her. Didn't recognize one who had it himself. A double tap on the shades, let the guards know the next whom approached was fine as well. Always so tense, on edge, and ready to kill. Normally they weren't with her, but this meeting was sensitive. And she had to act casual. Back to her tea, as not to intrude on their little reunion. Even if, in fact, they had intruded on her.
"Noel, a pleasure to meet you Himuro. As well as your associate. Constantine." Odd, that he bowed as well, maybe she had just been around the wrong kind of men in her life. This bowing amused her with its foreign like feel. Despite having grown in this metropolis of Olympia, she never had the pleasure of such colorful men speaking with her. "Please, have a seat." Her free hand ushered to the open chairs around the table. Three of them, the fourth she was already sitting in. Hopefully they didn't think it was a good choice of placement, then they might have really gotten shot. For now, she was intrigued by them, she still had a few hours to burn on this deck. It would be nice to have a little company before that time came to an abrupt halt.

She asked about why he bowed to her, and for that he gave a soft chuckle, the sound somewhat of a contrast to his face, since he held a rather calm serious gaze. It was slightly offset by the charming smile still present but it still was a strange sound to hear coming from him, at least for anyone that knew him personally. Deciding it would be best to answer the question he spoke to her, looking around for a moment before settling to stare directly into her eyes with his own piercing amber orbs. "I do it as a sign of respect. I was taught as a child to be respectful to anyone, even one I do not know. I personally believe in being respectful, especially to beautiful women I meet. I'd like to ask you a question in return...why do you not curtsy?" The somewhat playful smile on his face showed that he was enjoying the small debate his statement could lead to, especially given how some people got rather upset when he questioned their ways of interacting. In the end he understood that everyone did different things when meeting someone new for the first time. With the small jab at the conversation done, he decided it would be somewhat polite to introduce himself personally. "Though I suppose I should introduce myself no? I am Constantine Marquise, a pleasure to meet you." He gave another polite bow, this one lasting for a far shorter time before he returned to his previous standing position. Despite his feelings of bowing when introducing himself he also knew that doing it for too long or too short could be taken in different ways. Too long made a person seem too eager to show their personality or the way they act. Too short and it made it seem as if they lacked the proper respect for the other party.
»XXXXXHis thoughts were interrupted by his friend Himuro approaching, followed by the man giving him the spare suit he'd asked for, alongside his Key which he forget earlier that morning. He was glad that the purple-haired man remembered to bring him a change of clothing, but also made him laugh slightly that he decided to bring along the keys he'd left at home. Turning to look at Himuro fully when he placed the suit on his head Constantine gave a low chuckle, bringing his hands up to take it off. "If you'd give me a moment I'd like to change into this newer suit. Today wasn't my best day with luck." Giving another polite bow to excuse himself for the time being he walked over towards the bathrooms on the Cafe. Opening the door he stepped inside before taking the top of the suit off, fully undoing the tie to pull it off and place it in the bag containing his replacement suit. After a moment of peeling the pieces of clothing off he took the new outfit from the bag, carefully putting it on. With that done he put the tie on, fixing it to look neat before placing the old suit - and bag into the trashcan. Sadly with the water damaging the nice material he felt no need to keep it around, so it was better to just throw it away. It also helped that the suit that was ruined was a very old one he'd been using since he was younger, so it didn't have much use left.
»XXXXXWith his suit changed he emerged from the bathroom once more, fixing his tie before walking over to the table Noel and Himuro were at. When he arrived he sat down in the offered seat, crossing one leg over the other (Like pic) with one hand resting on his lap, the other allowing his chin to rest on it gently. Calling a waitress walking around over to him he ordered a few drinks, telling her that any would be fine for him. He didn't really know what Himuro drank specifically, since the man constantly tried different things. As for the woman- Noel; he'd never met her before so he'd rather not take the chance of ordering the wrong drink for her. "Thank you again Himuro, it was quite uncomfortable wearing that suit after what happened this morning. How is the bar doing? Is it getting many customers at all?" He gave what many would consider a "kind" smile, however to Constantine it was simply his business smile, one he showed to friends and strangers alike when meeting in public. He was honestly curious as to how the business was doing in the bar, but he knew Himuro would just tell him later in a report, or he could just figure it out when he got the alcohol bill. With the question to Himuro up in the air he turned his attention to Noel, giving her a smile like he had his friend before speaking in a calm voice. "I'm sorry Noel, I probably wasn't in the best of moods a few moments ago...rough day today." Giving his best disarming smile Constantine let his piercing orange gaze focus fully on Noel.

When the female announced that it was a pleasure to meet him and his associate he couldn't help but let his lips curl into a smile. "Oh believe me miss Noel, the pleasure is definitely ours." Himuro would give another polite bow for allowing him to sit with her. "Thank you." The purple haired male grabbed a chair and slid it out enough for him to slip into it. Once seated he would stretch out a leg away from the female so that he wouldn't bump her and then proceeded to cross his arms across his chest. His greeting was much more polite that his sitting posture. Now that he felt they had broken through the first barrier, he allowed himself to be a bit more lax and comfortable. Purple orbs drifted to the male to his left "Hurry back now Constantine-kun~" ™
↳↳............ Once his best friend started to leave to go get changed he waved a waitress over and ordered himself a cocktail. Before she left however he glanced over to the tea that Noel was having and then back to the waitress, ordering another cup of tea for her. Something clicked inside his head and he instantly turned back to his female companion for lunch today. "I'm sorry miss Noel but it just dawned on me. Would me and Constantine be interrupting a meeting or something? I mean, you are a bit formally dressed for just lunch out on the town if you don't mind me saying." Himuro's head tilted to the side slightly in curiosity as he waited for her reply. ™
↳↳............ However about that time it would seem that Constantine was making his return and spoke before she had the chance to reply. "You are quite welcome, it wasn't much trouble. The bar is doing fine. I had just got off my shift not long before you called actually. It was pretty busy when I left so I hope the others are getting things done without any difficulty. Things can be such a hassle when it's busy when a bartender." A quick shade of a bothersome look came and went across Himuro's face in a matter of seconds as he thought about what he had just said. Shaking the thoughts away he turned back to Noel as he awaited an answer to his question. [[ Terribly sorry for the wait. ]] ™
