- It is sometimes said that Rory is the embodiment of both goddesses combined. She's sweet and soft spoken, her demeanor shy and guarded. However she is intelligent, and has a strong will power. Her ambition is great and her determination unwavering. Her anger is slow to burn but burns strongly and quietly. She tends to be a little dreamy and distant at times and tries to be attentive when appropriate. She is rather caring and loves to do things such as charity work. Her goal is to make Pandora the best place on Andarion to live. She has a bit of wanderlust and travels extensively around Andarion when it is possible.

- Rory was once the youngest child of the Montguarde family. Her father and mother ruled side by side, her mother the rightful heir to the throne. She had an oldest sister, and two older brothers. That is, until the night that an Emperor sent an assassin to come and murder them all in their beds. In the still of the night, Rory's bedside nurse who had been keeping an eye on a flu for her, heard her youngest brother scream out. Acting instinctively, the Nurse had scooped her up and hidden away with her in a servant's entry. The assassin never found them, and, thinking his job done, left. The next day her mother's adviser was named regent and the country had gone into mourning. Once Rory was fourteen, she was named Empress and set to work doing all she could to make sure nothing of the sort would ever happen again. Since that time, she has honed her magic skills in defense and weather magic, and created a safe haven for all magic users of Andarion. Not just a safe kingdom, but a learned one. She aims to leave a peaceful legacy for her homeland.
