Obstinate and strong-willed, Esmeralda carries with her all the pride and strength of her mother's samurai lineage and, as such, is often quite a force to be reckoned with. Fiercely independent, she will gladly put her blood, sweat, tears and even life on the line in order to protect her beliefs, hard-earned belongings and her precious friends with her own hands.
Esmeralda also has a fiery, violent temper which she displays without restraint when she feels that she has been slighted or insulted, often flying into a wild frenzy if her first blow does not settle the matter. Unfortunately, she is also quite childish and largely incapable of coming up with witty verbal retorts if struck with an insult that hits too close to her true shortcomings, further prompting her to violence. Even so, her most unique personal trait is that she is quick to see the good in others, even when it is hidden deep beneath the surface, and is always ready with a kind word of encouragement when she sees an opportunity to help. Her strength, exists for the sake of the people around her and she will not hesitate to lend her powers to others in need. Though some may call her naive for sticking to such a credo while surrounded by more selfish people in such trying times, her sense of duty and honor will not let her give up under any circumstances.
Esmeralda is unapologetic about her masculine athleticism, but worries about her looks, thinking herself too plain to be attractive. She becomes embarrassed and flustered when drawn into adult conversations and, though she waves aside the idea of being in a romantic relationship
History:
As with many stories this one begins before the birth, it started when a young man from a wealthy Mexican family met a mutant from Japan that had been disowned by her family. The man one Victor Ramon Garcia had come to Hawaii on vacation to stay at his family's winter home, the mutant Saiyuki Tokugawa had immigrated to the state from Japan after her mother learned of her mutation and had started working as a maid. Some might call it fate that the two were to meet others a misfortune for both as it led them to death, yet they did meet fall in love and had a daughter. That daughter's birth is where our story truly begins.
The first memory Esmeralda has is the sun and her parents, it's an early memory well before most would think it possible to remember, but its there. As with a growing portion of the world's population she was born with a gift or mutation as some call it. The ability to control time with her mind, a power that first began to manifest at the age of 3 much earlier then most. Born in Kailua Kona Hawaii, the young mutant was surrounded by paradise from the very beginning. However given that nether parent was an American citizen they agreed that she would only stay their until her mother was forced to return to Japan. Once there she would go to school until she was ten then her father would come for them. The first four years of the family's life in Hawaii were great, if not a little difficult once Esmeralda's powers began to surface. Then in the the spring before her 5th birthday Saiyuki took her daughter to Japan.
Tokyo Japan was as if night and day from Hawaii, bustling hub of activity. The young girl was in ah of the city having never seen such a place in her life. The next five years passed mostly uneventfully, with a few flare ups of her powers such as flashing forward by accident and freezing people in time. In barely an instant the five years was over and her father had come to get the two and took them to Mexico.
Saying goodbye to the land of the rising sun was hard for young Esmeralda she'd been looking forward to starting middle school with her friends. However she was also excited for the new adventure she was going to have in Mexico. As the plane arrived in Mexico city the young mutant once again found a world like she had yet to see before. A dry hot met her here, it wasn't unpleasant just new, and she loved it. Mexico proved to be a place of widely different places and ways of life then one would expect, but due to her father's power and wealth it was not hard for Esmeralda.
At the age of 13 her father's compound was attacked by a rival drug cartel, it ended when a bullet hit her mother. As her mother was shot Esmeralda's powers exploded out turning all inanimate objects to dust by rapidly aging it and living beings had their molecules sped up so much that the friction caused their bodies to explode. Since then Esmeralda has been on the run trying to hide from the world. (I'll add details soon)

Accelerate Time:
Esmeralda is able to accelerate time for herself and/or others. Normally this will give off simply the appearance of enhanced reflexes or speed. It is also possible for her to leave an afterimage of where she was previously. However there is also a darker and far more dangerous way this ability can be used; by speeding up the molecules in an object or person she can create a high level of friction between the stationary molecules around the victim. This friction is then released, when the acceleration is stopped, in the form of an explosion. It is currently unknown the true extent that Esmeralda is able to use this as it has only been seen when her powers went wild in Mexico.
Chrono Vision:
Esmeralda can see the past and future with concentration, however the past is easier to see coming like shadows in a certain location. The future on the other hand is infinitely more difficult often overwhelming her before she sees anything due to there being countless futures. (When looking into the past she can only see thing that happened in the same location she is meaning she can't see what happened in the Brotherhood base from her room that'd be to much for her and she'd pass out or die without seeing anything)
Slow/Stop Time:
Slow and stop time to others while being able to move freely. Appearance of Enhanced Reflexes and Enhanced Speed, (area of effect and time must be stated before use for slowing and stopping people)

Temporal Looping:
With this power Esmeralda can trap anyone or anything into reiterating time stream where where everything inside the loop is restarted precisely every so often, possibly even backwards.She is able to force someone to relive the same minute, hour, day, year, etc. for as long as she can keep them there. On some occasions people have been know to retain a small amount of memories or eventually escape weaker temporal loops. (will only last at most 4 post)
Temporal Rewind:
to reverse the effects of recent events:
Repair damaged objects. Esmeralda can rewind time to a few seconds, minutes, hours, days, etc. into the past.
Temporal Healing:
Esmeralda can heal by rewinding time erasing the damages from existence, she can regenerate fully destroyed limbs or body parts, recover the life-force, spiritual power or mana during the process. She can even return dead to life. (Though it causes her to become weak afterwards and to many times in quick succession will kill her) (takes concentration depending on the wound)
