What are Match Fixtures?
Match Fixtures are the scheduled matches throughout a season. These dates are set in stone and can only be delayed with express approval from either the Judge's Council or the House of Corporations. However, unless this approval is gained, a Match is a Match and both competitors must appear on the allotted field, on the allotted Real Time and Date.
If competitors fail to arrive by deadline without good reason or permission, they will automatically forfeit the match and receive zero [0] points on their league table score. Action may also be taken towards teams for misconduct.
There are three types of Match Scheduling:
Tournament Fixtures: Always at the end of a Season, the Tournament is the highlight of the year. The brackets are always posted up on the first day of competition and are continuously updated throughout.
League Fixture: Any Match scheduled that will count towards the Regular Season Record is an Official League Fixture set down by the Judge's Council. Singles, Doubles and Team events are held on different days to avoid clashes. Some Fixtures may have deadlines depending on agreed terms by the Team Leaders and the Judge refereeing the game.
Scrimmages: Scrimmages are team/pilot made exhibition matches that are negotiated and cleared by the Judge's council.
Practice Lots: Practice Lots are closed arranged practice sessions that must be approved by the Judge's Council. A team will have a certain amount of time to test within a Practice Arena.
