Contracts
Deals are a way of life in Olympia and contracts are the legal documents that make those deals happen. If you sign a contract you are legally bound by its terms and conditions and breaking those terms and conditions can actually come with severe consequences.
Contracts can be between anyone; Pilots and their teams, sponsors and individual pilots, teams and stores and they are pretty much held in the same regards as laws. If a contract is broken, the Judge's Council and the House of Corporations will become involved in the dispute until its resolution.
Contracts vary depending on the parties whom agreed them, their purpose and their intentions. It is always best to have an attorney on call and make sure that you check a contract thoroughly before signing it.
