The Grand Prix Laws
The Grand Prix laws are simple. They are the governing laws set by the Judges Council and the House of Corporations at the Grand Prix's inception; they are constantly updated to keep up with the times and breaking them can not only lead to a team's disqualification from the Grand Prix but the imprisonment of guilty parties. The Laws are as follows:
1. All participants in the Olympia Grand Prix must be Licensed Zoid Pilots.
2. Any Licensed Zoid Pilot who decides to compete in the Grand Prix accepts all liability for what might happen to them. This may include but is not limited to: Trauma, Dismemberment, Loss of Zoid and Death.
3. A Team participating within the Grand Prix must have a minimum of Three [3] Pilots.
4. No pilot may be signed to more than one team at a time.
5. Once a pilot signs a contract, the contract is binding.
6. The minimum wage for a Zoid Pilot is 30,000 credits per match. Bonuses and Winnings are to be agreed within a contract.
7. No team may have more than two [2] of the same model of Zoid at any one time.
8. Once registered in a tournament, no team or person may make changes to their roster or arsenal unless stated or for good reason. Substitute Zoids and Pilots must be accounted for during registration.
9. A pilot must not leave their Zoid during a match unless necessary.
10. The hi-jacking of a Zoid, inside the arena or out, is strictly prohibited.
11. A Zoid's combat capabilities must only be used within the arenas or testing areas.
12. Proper procedure must be practiced in all aspects; whether it is signing up for a tournament or scrimmaging against another team.
13. A Judge's word is law.
14. A Judge may not join an outside team. However, they may compete in single combat tournaments. If they do compete they will be forced to forfeit all Judge duties and weaponry until the tournament is over or they are called for duty.
15. A Team must make their list of employees available to the Council of Judges and House of Corporations at all times.
16. Only one [1] Drop Box can be called for by a team during an official tournament match.
17. A Drop Box is only allowed to contain one item.
