Personality: He is a nice guy, kind and caring to many people he meets. But he is also quite rambunctious at times, acting like the animals he takes some traits from. But he uses the chipper demeanor and silly antics to hide a lot of pain inside. He has some major insecurity issues. Even though he got off easy compared to someone like Hank McCoy, otherwise known as Beast, he is highly insecure of his tail and his fur. Either he hides his pain with being absolutely silliness, or he can be quite arrogant at times, especially when it comes to a contest of skill.
Despite him being in the Brotherhood, he is not a totally bad guy, just a misunderstood mutant who is likely on the wrong side of a conflict and who wants vengeance against the humans that labeled him as a freak.
History: Born in Burbank, California, he was an only child, and was spoiled by his loving parents. His father was a police officer and his mother was a real estate agent. Or they were loving parents until his mutation came into being. They didn't think anything bad about their child being unnaturally acrobatic, in fact they encouraged him to pursue this physical activity, which eventually meant him getting into parkour.
But at the age of 12, things became different, beginning with the appearance of a long, red furred, prehensile monkey tail. They tried to accept that their child was different, but he was ostracized in school and at home, and called a 'Simian Freak' by the children at school. Eventually, even his parents disowned him, and he was thrown out onto the streets.
Esben wandered the streets of Los Angeles, alone, and afraid of his future. He would steal for food, and became quite good at it, and his natural agility and parkour training allowed him to evade the cops. Eventually, a kindly old man saw the young monkey and kindly took him in, adopting him as his own son. This old man also ran a martial arts school, one that taught, of all things, Tai Shing Pek Kwar, or Monkey Kung Fu. So when Esben began to show interest in the art, the old man decided to give him private lessons, instructing him in the martial art as well as use of the Bo Staff. After 4 years of learning from the master, the old man passed away, but the successor to the kind man kicked Esben out of the school, saying his kind was not welcome here.
Once again he was alone, but not for long, as he was found by someone with mutant powers like him. He offered the young man to come with him to a place where people like him are accepted with open arms, and he can get vengeance against the people that deemed him to be a freak. He accepted this man's request, and thus Esben, as the alias Wukong, was now a member of the Brotherhood.

Personal Description: Tall, but lean, Esben has long, wild flowing red hair and piercing green eyes. His skin is pale due to his Danish/Irish heritage. His lean figure hides great strength from his simian physiology. But the most striking features about him are the patches of fur on his lower arms, shins, and chest, and the long, red furred monkey tail above his buttocks.

Fashion: Esben's style is casual for maximum freedom of movement. He always wears long sleeve shirts and pants, due to the fur he wants to always keep hidden.
Uniform: All his uniform consists of is a loose long sleeve, black shirt with his on the front and loose, red pants. He leaves his feet bare, because in a combat situation, he'll need them.

Powers and Personal Weaknesses
Powers: Esben has the traits and abilities of Old World and New World Monkeys and apes. This gives him enhanced strength, agility, dexterity, prehensile feet and a prehensile tail as long as half his body length and strong enough to support at least twice his body weight. He also has slightly elongated canines
Weaknesses: He's not super humanly durable and his strength only goes so far. Most of his weaknesses though are mental. He is extremely insecure about his own tail and patches of fur on his body, and his big feet. Not to mention a red furred monkey tail is not easy to hide in normal society.
