My issue with this post is that she is using the Absorbacon to learn everyone's name, and it seems, to me, that she is telling everyone. It has been pointed out to me that she runs through the list mentally, but I have also pointed out that it says she is questioning people, like she is communicating with them, and so would still be giving his name out to everyone.
My main issue is that my character is huge on secret identity and doesn't want his name known by people he doesn't trust. If she is doing this list in a way no one can hear her, then problem over. Tony can talk to her on his own and get her to keep quiet about it(Or, as I realized, he would never know she knows his name, so he wouldn't know to do anything about it). But if she's telling everyone, then we need to work something out.
His issue with secret identities is that there's a part of his life he doesn't want random people knowing. His father is a criminal, one he's already had to fight while wearing the cowl. The way he sees it, if anyone knows who he is under the cowl, they could look into him, and finding that his father is a criminal is not hard to do with a little bit of research, and then people might start questioning his resolve, questioning if he is truly a hero or if he's torn down the middle. He knows that he isn't, he knows he's truly devoted to the good side of things, but he doesn't want anyone else questioning him on it, because how is he supposed to prove it? If people know this about him, they might start seeing everything he does as 'trying to hard' or 'attempting to prove his standing' when it's not. He knows where he stands, and he doesn't need or want anyone questioning that.
