 xxxxxx Oh, hello! Hello, hello, hello! Welcome to my humble abode. Mind the floating nebulae around us and the occasional shooting star, they tend to sweep people away when one isn't paying attention. Kufufufu, I myself was almost swept away during one of my naps. Oh, pardon my rambling...What? You've never seen an alien before? Gee, you must not really get out. Anyway, take a look around us. Isn't it amazing how vast the universe is? Each star tries it's best to shine the brightest and our planet is but a tiny spec in the great milky way. It is only when they are woven together that their true beauty is known. In that regard, each human, each pokemon, is unique, each with their own struggles. They grow, and experience times of happiness as well as sadness. In spite of these hardships, they try their best to live and achieve their goals. I find that it is in these times, both pokemon and humans shine the brightest, together. It is from their mutual love that can bring forth a radiance which blinds all. Not even the most brilliant supernova can compare. Now I ask you this, will you and your pokemon be able to blind me with your light or will you fade into the endless darkness that is space?
Trainers, thank your lucky, or perhaps unlucky, stars! In this gym you will be given a choice. You may either choose to battle the leader of the Starlight Gym, moi, in either a Single battle OR a Double battle. You may feel free to switch between singles and doubles in the case that you are unable to defeat me [rematch]. Note that no mode is easier than the other. You will have to work for your badge(s)! You can also earn more than one badge from me, however having either will allow you to move on in your journey. You are also free to challenge me as many times as you like until you get your badge. Make a wish upon a star and perhaps you might win!

Thanks, it was intense. Luckily my team is dragon/fire heavy or the tables would've been turned fairly drastically.
