(Due to hearing the voice of God Metatron also had the knowledge of God which gives him knowledge of other characters. But I have given the rule that he will not know anything about anyone's character unless their player tells me personally they want him to know. Also he doesn't have to know everything about the character. Metatron is more of a plot pushing character in the fact he can know key points of something and blurt it out to a specific person to move a story along should you so choose. Think of him more as a plot device to help your character more then an actual character. So please PM me if you wish Metratron to know of your character or know anything in the future.)

Personality: Metatron is known for his smart a** comments but also for his hidden words of wisdom among them. Their hard to find but there in there. He's a very truthful person and will answer any question posed to him although the answers he gives can be vague and nonsensical should you not ask correctly. He's not a fighter and tends to flee from most battles. Metatron tends to behave mostly like a child. Blissfully unaware of most things and is easily distracted from trains of thought as well as his own emotional states. He is prone to sudden outburst of emotions as well as the removal of them and can be very hard to read. Although he may appear foolish, idiotic, and even a bit insane, looks are very deceiving with Metatron.
The most important thing to know about Metatron is that you should not ignore what he says. The most important details and comments he will ever speak are normally said when people are not paying attention to him or think he not saying anything of any importance when in actuality if you piece together his nonsensical jabber his words may surprise you at how much this stumbling buffoon of a man really knows about things he shouldn't.

Bio: Metatron is an archangel with a very important job. He speaks for God. Mortals can not actually bare to hear God's actual voice directly because it would quite literally blow them away. So every time it mentions God speaking in the bible it is actual Metatron who is speaking. He is considered on of the highest of the angels and even allowed it sit in God's presence. Metatron's presence on earth is largely unknown but it is considered to be a form of God's work. On earth Metatron is a form of prophet as he can still hear God's voice and convey his will. Although somewhere between Metatron's ears and his mouth the message seems to get a little muddled as he doesn't always say it in the exact way the God would. If he screws it up badly enough there had been occasions where his punishment has left him deaf for several days. That however doesn't seem to stop him. Metatron has a pair of brilliant white wings although he hides them like magic under a thin flimsy coat.
In heaven Metatron had no free will and did not have the ability to sin or feel most human emotions. Now on earth these things have been given to him and it has become a bit of a learning experience. Along with a humanoid form he now has to learn how to use a body with the gravity that the human world has which causes him mostly to stumble about. In essence Metatron is mostly like a child that is just now learning what it truly means to be human.
In Judaism (where Metatron is actually from) he is known as "The Lesser YHVH". YHVH being God's divine proper name in their texts. He is also said to have a "Name like his Master" and that God has also said that "my name is in him". Although most scholars speculate on this and go so far as to say that Metatron is the Holy Ghost in the Holy Trinity, Metatron just skips to the end and calls God by loving terms such as "big guy", "pops", "old man", "dad', and the ever popular "old fart".
Metatron's real reason for being on earth is that he's currently on suspension for getting one of God's prophecies wrong. Apparently there's a reason the messiah's a little late.
