Starlight,Starbright The First star I see tonight; I wish I may, I wish I might, Have the wish I wish tonight Astraea sat on the river's edge, her first group of children had grown and her second group was starting to slowly grow as well. She frowned lightly to herself, she needed to stop going around and having kids with random guys. She figured it was time to settle down, but at the same time she was worried that if she let someone into her life, they would be turned off by the fact that they would acquire 6 step children. She blew out a soft breath and watched the stars twinkle in the night sky. Stargazing was of her all time favorite things to do and she would never give it up. She swished her tail to and fro idly not paying attention to her surroundings.

(Temp image 'til I receive his official cert.) The night sky was marvelous this evening. Stars of all sorts were twinkling and dazzling. It was as if they were putting on a show. The male felis loved the night time. His own pelt even reflected that. His bright blue eyes shared a twinkle as he continued to pad along, not paying attention to where he was going. Did he really have to? No one else was really out at this time of night. He practically had the whole galaxy to himself.

Astraea stood up and stretched with her rump slightly in the air as she got to her feet and started to pad along the pathway, looking around at her surroundings and glancing up to watch the stars twinkle about not particularly paying attention to what was in front of her or around her. She was so in tune with watching the stars that she bumped into a male and lost her balance "ow..." she muttered to herself.

"Oof!"
Next thing the male knew, his rump was sittin' in the dirt, his wings outspread as a reaction to suddenly falling. He had not expected that. Slightly annoyed, the felis shook his head and peered around him, looking for what had suddenly knocked him down. If it was another male trying to claim this area...
And that's when he saw her.
Her wings wings shown so brightly in the dark of the night. Her eyes... It was like angel's were pouring the purest of water onto them. Her pelt was sprinkled with the most passionate of stars. The male just sat there, his bright blue eyes scanning her over and his mouth hanging open slightly.
He had definitely not expected this.

She stood up and shook her head before peering at what more like who she bumped into. She tilted her head to the side lightly taking in his star patterned coat and his gold wings. It was the first time she had ever seen another male other then her brother with the similar star patterning. She lightly flushed at her embarrassment that was a great way to create a good impression. She jumped to her feet and shook her rump to get the dust and dirt off "S...sorry...didn't see you" she managed to get out.

He instantly popped up and put his gold-colored paw to her adorable, flustered face. "Shhhh... Nono. It's fine." He smiled, and then realized he was probably being creepy... And took his paw away, keeping it to himself. "Sorry... I umm... I didn't mean to bump into you like that. I don't ever see anyone else really out here."
The felis pawed slightly at the ground, incredibly nervous. Why? Why was he so flustered himself? He wasn't blushing, thank goodness... But his heart was racing. It was as if he had just bumped into a bright and beautiful star itself. He had never seen another creature like himself... Like her. She was just... So beautiful. With a rustle of his wings to set his feathers back in place, and a quick shake of his hind quarters to get the dirt off, he embarrassingly looked around; not quite sure what to say at this point.

She flushed as he touched her already red face, she shook her head "I think that was my fault" she said thinking about it. She took a few moments to take a couple of deep breaths so the color disappeared from her face. "well, not many like stargazing as much as I do or you for that matter, which I presume you were doing?" she asked him.
She thought about it for a bit before realizing she hadn't introduced herself "ahh..umm...well..My name is Astraea, and you are?" she asked him lightly, it was proper courtesy to introduce oneself, with that it would break the ice with the slightly awkward moment.

"Astrophel. It's a grand pleasure to meet you, Ms. Astraea." He gave her a cheesy smile, bowing his front half in respect to her. "I was stargazing, yes. They're so beautiful this time of night, aren't they?"
He looked back up at the night's sky, the stars still twinkling above. They looked even brighter now... Like they were almost happy he had bumped into this felis. His face softening, he returned his gaze to the female. Astraea... She even had a star-like name. It was wondrous.
"Do you always spend your nights gazing up above?"

"Nice to Meet you Astrophel, and you can just call me Astraea, the formalities make me sound old" she put in with a smile. She nodded her head agreeing with him "the stars are always grand at this time, its very calming to me" she put in. She glanced back up at the night sky watching the stars twinkle brightly.
She though about his question thoughtfully before answering his question "moreso then not, its brings me tranquility and relaxation and I do love identifying the star clusters and what constellations they make up" she put in.She swished her tail to and fro idly.

He chuckled a bit. "They don't make you sound old. They make you sound more grand, if anything." He watched her tail twitching back and forth, still constantly getting captivated. "Tranquility and relaxation... What would you need that for though? You don't look like you have the tiniest bit of stress."
Was he wrong? Usually when someone turned to something that offered them such things as tranquility and relaxation, it was because they had stress in their day to day lives. Still, he stood by what he had said. She didn't look stressed at all. Maybe she just enjoyed the peace that the night sky had to offer. Or... Maybe she had other things on her mind, constantly nagging at her. He waited for her answer, now more curious than he had been before when he asked.

She lightly nibbled on her bottom lip, she had lots on her mind, she was a mother of 6 each with a different fathers. She still felt it was too early to tell him what she meant but on the other hand it would be best to tell him straight out, she weighed her options carefully. "You would be surprised, so if this plans to keep going in the future you need to know that, if you became part of my life should you decide; you would be a step father to 6" she explained, before looking downwards.
" i know from experience that if i told a male felis' that i had children with 2 different males prior to having them with the current should it come to that one day, it would be a turn off to the other felis who are trying to become part of my life" she said.

Astrophel smiled. Did he have a good reason to smile? That would depend. This female had children, and not only that... But they had different fathers as well. Did that make her easy? Did that make her promiscuous? Maybe at one time it did. Hell, maybe she still was. Was that any of this male's concern though? No, at least not at this moment.
"Why would that matter? As I said, you don't look like you've had a day of stress in your life. The stars must keep you young and beautiful. Their tiny rays of light must wash over you and keep you rejuvenated on a nightly basis." He ruffled his wings a bit, starting to feel more confident. "I want to get to know you for you. Not your children. Not your past mates. You."

She let out a small sigh of relief before smiling, a little. It was the first time news like that would not be shocking or a put off for males. She swished her tail to and fro, before glancing at him her eyes twinkling lightly.
"For some, it would but i'm glad it doesn't to you and thank you." She said brightly before flushing a little "i'm flattered" she put in. "I would like to get to know you as well" she said cheerily.

Astrophel smiled once more. "Good. Once I get to know you, I would like to get to know your children as well... So long as you are alright with that. I don't want to seem like a creep in wanting to know your offspring." He winced slightly, really hoping that sort of thought wouldn't come to her mind. He looked back up the twinkling sky above. He could practically see Astraea within the stars. The resemblance to the constellations and her own pelt was just... Uncanny.
"Are you a child of the stars? You look like a cluster of stardust raised you from birth."

Astraea glanced at Astrophel and smiled as well "well, I'm sure my children will like that, but you will only meet 2 since the rest are living with their fathers and friends of my caretaker" She told him, so when it came to him meetting her kids the only 2 he would meet would be Akira and Elrond.
She giggled lightly at his line "I could be, but I'm not entirely sure Myself" she answered looking at him. She glanced at her pelt then at the star "There isn't that much of a resemblance to the night sky, is it?" she asked him curiously.
