Hayate Yamachi "I have the strength of heart to accept who I am... even if no one else does. I am a demon, an Oni, and I'll use this strength to protect everyone around me, even if they hate me!!!!" Murder doesn’t necessarily mean evil, right? FULL NAME: Hayate Yamachi ALIAS : Indestructible Mountain - The man who found Hayate and brought him to True Cross Academy gave him this title when he saw the monstrous strength upon Hayate finally awakening his demonic heritage. Hayate, an immovable force that could only be stopped by being comforted, seemed to be immune to everything that assaulted him, his strength and endurance so great that he seemed to merely repel damage. Given that his heritage was that of an Oni, the man figured that the boy's title would be fitting if he were referred to as a mountain of some sort, and as such he was given the title Indestructible Mountain. When the man stated this is what he would call the boy, he left some words that sort of stuck in Hayate's mind. "A mountain stands tall and proud boy, no matter what it's faced with. Not even the wind or even scorching fire can destroy them. So stare down every challenge with that same strength, with a will to endure whatever hardships come tomorrow." NICKNAMES: N/A (Although his fellow classmates can give him one if they so wish.) DATE OF BIRTH: September 22nd CURRENT AGE: 16 GENDER: Male NATIONALITY: Japanese ORIGIN OF BIRTH: Kyoto, Japan OCCUPATION: Student APPEARANCE: Occasional Wear (Minus the Glasses) Civilian Attire Human Appearance: Hayate's human appearance, is rather plain looking. He has straight brown hair that seems to be kept at a rather average length. It seems to be well kept, probably from adopting a habit of brushing his hair every morning after he wakes up. His eyes are a dark red and have a rather serious look to them, showing that his demonic heritage has affected his human form now that it has been awakened. They are not wide or bright like a teenager or child's eyes should be, and give him the general vibe of someone far more intimidating than he really is. His ears also show that he has some demonic lineage, being very slightly pointed due to his relation to Amaimon. He tends to smile a lot so he is often seen with a grin or at least a small smile on his face. His skin is fair, especially when compared to some other people. As for his body type, the best way to describe it is fit. While he is not exactly all that large when compared to other people, he has a decent amount of muscle. A bit too much to be considered lean and too little to be considered muscled. However, this is merely as he appears. His fingernails are kept short, without any sort of length at all.
For clothes he generally wears the school uniform, varying slightly depending on the time of year and how he feels like wearing it. Sometimes he has the collar unbuttoned and his tie loose and sometimes he doesn't even wear his blazer. It really just depends on the day and what he is feeling like. However, he most commonly wears his school uniform in some way. On the rare occasions that he does not, he wears blue jeans, a yellow and black hoodie, a green shirt, multicolored wristbands, and a black beanie. The sneakers he usually wears are yellow and black just like his hoodie. Demon Appearance: Hayate's appearance remains generally the same, currently, when his powers activate. He grows two small horns on the sides of his head, a trait of some Oni, and his hair tends to becomes slightly less proper. His ears extend to become very pointy and long, much like his grandfather's and, from what he assumes, Mai's. His teeth sharpen slightly to signify that he is of demonic descent, in case the horns did not clue anyone in, and his eyes becoming a shining, bright red that could burn through the darkness of night. They become fierce and denote a sort of worth in terms of fighting. The boy's fingernails become claws, as usual, and his body type generally remains the same. However, his muscles seem to be slightly different, in a way that one cannot exactly tell from looks alone, it is just a feeling they give off from their appearance, that something is not the same as it was before. His skin remains fair like it was before.
His clothing choice remains generally the same, however he has an uncontrollable urge to wear a kimono and hakama. They seem oddly comfortable to him in his mind and he often finds himself wearing them, with added wear in accordance to the weather.

But those who do take it upon themselves to kill others, have to be prepared to have others try to kill them. HEIGHT: 172.72 cm [5'8"] WEIGHT: 64.4101 kg [142 Ibs.] BLOOD TYPE: A- EYE COLOR: Red HAIR COLOR: Brown PIERCINGS: None TATTOOS : None DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: Hayate's distinguishing features are his delinquent-like looks. From his eyes to the general way he seems to appear, people mistake him for a trouble-making delinquent. Even the general feel he gives off tends to generate the feeling that he is no good, which may be in part due to the fact that he is half Oni. Some people just find his features to be frightening, especially his dark red eyes, they are just creepy looking!
Other distinguishing features are his clothing choices. He tends to wear a variety of colors whenever he dresses in anything other than the school uniform. It is like a tidal wave of color washed over him and left behind the strangest combinations it possibly could have. His love of variety tends to be expressed with the multitude of colors he wears.

And that’s what they call the law of Karma, my friends. PERSONALITY:
Hayate is a rather kind individual.... who tends to get misunderstood greatly whenever he walks into a room and during first impressions. Often wanting to help others any way he can, his appearance and general way of speaking come off as rather intimidating, causing many to believe that he is a no-good delinquent without any mercy to him. His voice always seems to have a hint of roughness to it that is much akin to someone who enjoys getting into fights, thanks to his heritage, and his eyes convey a type of personality that shows pure brute strength and anger rather than his actual, gentle nature. Many people believe him to be some sort of bully waiting for the right moment take someone down, but that is not the case at all! This generalized personality that everyone has created for him causes him nothing but problems, leaving him with a sort of irritated attitude towards most classmates and other people. It is not like he does not want to make friends with them, but it is just so frustrating to sit there and have them talk about how scary he is every single time he tries to talk to them!
As mentioned before, Hayate is really a kind person, despite his irritated behavior and the huge misunderstanding. He enjoys helping people and taking care of others, often thinking about other people's own feelings over his own. He has a gentle nature, one that wishes to nurture others and help them along whenever they seem to be in trouble. Often times he gets himself... "hurt" when trying to protect people, such as jumping into the middle of danger to save them from being injured or even taking a soccer ball to the face just so another person does not get hit by the projectile. Even if it meant running into the middle of traffic, he would try his best to protect someone, these actions only aided by the fact that it is just about impossible for him to be hurt badly by normal means. He would even ignore a superior if it meant saving the life of another person or teammate. A good way to describe it all is that decision should always be above the mind, there is not use sitting there and thinking something through when someone could be gravely injured or worse, so he should just save them before something like that happens and face the consequences afterwards. Needless to say... Hayate is a rather reckless person, in fact he is extremely reckless.
Hayate also displays a great amount of bravery and confidence, no matter the situation. He is not overconfident... but the type of confident that is as confident as it needs to be, one that knows it has to be that confident or else things could turn sour real quick. If it were not for his recklessness, he would probably make a pretty good leader, however that part of him is way too unpredictable. That huge flaw prevents him from being considered a "leader" type of person, although Hayate does not care too much about something like that. All he wants to do is help others after all. He is actually pretty easygoing when it comes to others as well, the only things that truly irritate him being people constantly thinking of him as a delinquent and arrogant jerks who actually are delinquents or pick on others. As mentioned before, he treats people who misjudge him with irritation, but to annoying jerks who like to hurt others, he shows a rather mean side of himself. He treats them how they would treat others, mockingly and with slight venom in his voice. His kind nature usually disappears rather quickly and is replaced with a mean and violent personality that is very befitting to an oni. Needless to say, his kind nature deteriorates pretty quickly around people who hurt others and the kind of personality people think he has surfaces, one that wants nothing but to pulverize the guy that is ticking him off.
Overall though, Hayate is a pretty kind individual who wants nothing but to make friends and enjoy his school life. He wants to develop bonds and friendships with the people around him and truly be cared for by others, that is all he has ever wanted from life. He gets hurt by other people's opinions, and gets irritated by cruel people, but he still wants other people to see him as a friendly person that wants nothing but to make other people happy. He is not some demon that knows nothing but how to hurt others, but a kind boy who sits alone and wonders why people keep avoiding him despite how hard he tries to be friends with them. Never giving up, never being deterred. Even through all the pain of not being accepted and misunderstood, he is a kind person who wants to be happy with other people. Such an innocent boy... it is sort of hard to tell that he is a demon by the way he acts.

That’s why good or bad, the ones who are left standing are the ones with the strongest wills to survive. DEMONOLOGY: Oni [ Kin of Amaimon] DEMON CLASS: [ D, C, B, A, S, SS ] – The Mod will Rank your class of Demon during approval TRUE CROSS ACADEMY YEAR: 1 TRUE CROSS CRAM SCHOOL YEAR: 1 EXORCIST CLASS: Page AFFILIATION: Exorcist BASE OF OPERATIONS: True Cross Academy MY HISTORY: Mai, an oni from Gehenna and "Princess" of Earth, came to the human world, or to be specific she dropped down into Mount Kurama in Kyoto, Japan. The woman came to the human world without much intention, mainly to just see how the world was coming along and see if she could wreak any havoc while she was there. However, her descent was not the most unnoticed event. A local villager by the name of Hakun noticed her "drop" and traveled into Mount Kurama to investigate what had happened. The two of them crossed each others' paths while she descended down the mountain and he traveled up it. The result.... made it a miracle Hayate could have possibly been born to begin with. She attacked the man on sight, overcoming him quite easily and with just a few attacks, although she never really hit him directly. Just her tearing up the landscape around them was enough to fling him around and defeat him. When she noticed how easily she had beaten the man, she came to realize that he was not exactly... and exorcist like she thought he had been. Needless to say she was rather embarrassed but still did not feel as if she was in the wrong.
However, she accepted that it would probably be best to get him out of the mountain before he woke up, that way he would think that maybe it was all a dream. It was the perfect plan! That was... until he woke up while she was descending down the mountain with his body thrown over her shoulder. After freaking out for a few seconds, he managed to get away from her, if only for a few feet, before getting caught again. This time her resolve was to murder him, after all he would tell everyone that a demon had been seen in the mountain. This time it was the man's turn to get out of being turned into minced meat, the poor human quickly trying to reason with the monstrously strong woman before him, asking if he could be sparred if he promised to stay in the mountains until she left the human world. Mai was shocked by this proposition, and at the same time felt a need to maul him to death anyway for trying to reason with her. But... she decided to take him up on his offer, after all it might have been troublesome if his screams had carried around too much.
So, the two of them made a pact with each other, not in the literal sense. For as long as she was in the human world, Hakun would remain next to her so as to not give away her existence, the benefit for his side being that she spare his life. This seemed to be their only connection for the first month that they spent in the human world together. However, soon Hakun became infatuated with the atrociously strong demon. There was a sort of innocence to her stride as she traveled around Mount Kurama, taking in all it had to offer. The gentle smile she displayed whenever she tried to play with the animals, or how intrigued she was watching fish swim up the river. She even watched the moon and stars in the night sky with a sort of glowing brilliance. It was not long before he made it completely obvious that he had become obsessed with the woman. At first she seemed embarrassed, throwing him away from her or flinging things at him whenever he tried to confess his feelings, but eventually, and by eventually that means a month, he was able to work past that side of her and tell her how he felt. The feelings... were not exactly reciprocated, as she was the daughter of Amaimon, a demon, and Hakun was a human. However, the prospect of allowing a relationship to occur between her and a human intrigued her slightly, so she allowed for a romance to ensue between the two of them.
It was not long before she became swept up in her little relationship that she had started. Despite her lack of romantic feelings a first, she slowly became attached to the weak human, caring for him and finding herself protecting him far more often than she had to begin with. Soon their romance brought forth something that made her realize just how different she had become during her time in Hakun's world. A child... the two of them were to have a child, a prospect she had not thought of at the time but was to occur. She was pregnant with a human's child, something she knew would not sit well with her father. Her planned trip was only meant to last a few months... and would now be almost a year. Hakun seemed rather joyous, however, glad that the two of them were to have a child to raise. Obviously the man had thought their romance would last for far longer than she did. Over the next few months she slowly began to realize how painful it was to be in the world of humans, to watch a man she had slowly fallen in love with smile at her and talk about their future... when she knew the two of them would not be with each other much longer.
The time for her departure arrived just after she gave birth to her child, a baby boy by the name of Hayate. Hakun had named him, as per the request of Mai. The man was ecstatic about having a son... however that happiness faded quite quickly. Soon he came to realize that the woman he loved had disappeared, leaving behind nothing but the child that Hakun held in his arms. Overcome with grief, he went into a depression for months, taking care of the child as best he could. Sometimes he found himself blaming the small baby for Mai's departure, almost wishing that he had never come into the world. However, these dark feelings would always subside when he would see the child's smiling face. It was a demonic child... yes... but he felt true happiness whenever he held Hayate. Maybe it was because of this that Hakun lasted so long after his lover's departure. Two years... that was how long he spent with Hayate. After two years of taking care of his son, the man passed away, leaving the child who could barely walk to fend for himself. Alone, the small child cried, two years old and with no one to take care of him, he merely cried his eyes out. Then... one day, a woman appeared before him with open arms, a smiling woman that resembled a fox.
Yasuko Yamachi, one of Mai's various attendants, was asked by the woman to secretly go to the human world, to help Hakun take care of their son. It had taken two years for Mai to find a demon she trusted enough to give such a task to, and by the time she had it was already too late. Yasuko merely looked at the crying boy and took him into his arms. She could not return to Gehenna with the child, not a half-demon like him, and she could not bare to see Mai's face should she explain to her that the two of them were too late. With Mai's lover dead, Yasuko took it upon herself to raise the young prince. But she could not raise him as a demon, not in a world where he would have to live as a human. Hakun did not have any choice but to raise the young boy as a half-demon, but Yasuko took it upon herself to give him a much better chance at life. And as such, she used her magic to seal away the boy's power and demonic appearance, making him appear as a simple human, a beautiful, blue-eyed child with brown hair. Self-realization, that was what would be needed for his powers to reawaken, for Hayate to understand what he was and accept that side of himself. If he were to ever accept his demonic self and wish to live life as himself, as a demon, then the spell's power would reverse and he would take his demonic shape again.
With his powers sealed, Hayate was raised by Yasuko as her child, even being given her last name, as neither she nor Mai had known Hakun's last name. The two of them slowly, but surely, became inseparable, the boy becoming quite attached to the yoko. As she raised him and taught him about the world, she made sure that he understood that she was not his real mother, often telling him to call her "Ya-chan" rather than "mom" or anything of the sort. Over the years Hayate grew into a rather gentle boy, often spending much of his time with Yasuko. Their mountain home was filled with various rocks and other things that the two of them spent time collecting and such. When he was with Yasuko, Hayate felt true happiness, and as time passed his memories of his father slowly faded away, only his gravesite being a reminder as to who he was to him. All Hayate knew of him was his face and that his name was Hakun, although many people he met in the mountains seemed to know him and give him a general idea of what he was like, and Yasuko of course but her information was not exactly the most reliable. Hayate did not know that, however, and listened to her words rather intently compared to those of passing hikers.
Soon Hayate had become a teenager, and he seemed rather content with living his life in the mountains with Yasuko. Of course, the woman did not seem to like the idea of him spending his life on Mount Kurama very much but she did not exactly want to stop him either. In truth, she had become attached to him and started seeing him as a son, and because of that she did not want to give up her son. Despite this, the two of them would have to part ways a lot sooner than either of them had wanted, or anticipated. One day Hayate came across a girl in the forest, with abnormal, pink hair. The strange sight caused him to approach the girl, only to see that she had a rather strange appearance. Apparently she had been marked with a curse, to become the bride of a demonic bull, or minotaur to be exact. The curse had changed her appearance to give her small cow horns, a tail, and ears. It had even changed her hair to pink. Wanting to help the girl, he escorted her out of the mountain quickly, so that the minotaur would not be able to claim the girl. However, upon reaching the village below, he was accused of placing the curse on the girl, the villagers believing him to be a demon in disguise.
Due to the misunderstanding, Hayate was forced to retreat into the mountain, back to his home where he felt he would be safe. Once he explained everything to Yasuko, he witnessed a rather pained reaction, almost as if she could not look him in the eyes. After what seemed like hours of trying to avoid the subject, she finally sat him down and explained to him with tears in her eyes about his birth, but gave him very minimal details. In short, she explained to him that it was true, that he was a demon. She even went so far as to show him a kanabō, or more specifically his mother's old kanabō. Shocked by this realization, Hayate denied the possibility, he would not accept that he was a demon. Sure Yasuko had fox ears and obviously was not human... and it seemed like she was sincerely telling him the truth... but he was not a demon! For the next few days, Hayate hid himself away inside their home, denying everything that Yasuko had said to him, and even keeping his distance from her for the most part. Everything... everything was starting to seem like one big lie.
Soon they came... it was obvious they were going to show up after the girl had been cursed, but how fast they arrived was astounding. Exorcists had been called into the mountain to take care of the boy, so that the young girl, who had apparently been the village chief's daughter, would not be taken away from them and forced to be its bride. The exorcists had their target, a minotaur disguised as a boy with brown hair and blue eyes. The pink-haired girl seemed to object to them hurting the boy, but did not voice any of his, possibly due to the chief wanting her to stay quiet so this could all blow over quickly. It did not take them long to find Yasuko and Hayate's home, ordering Hayate to come out. Why... why did this all seem to be happening so quickly. Was helping someone really so much of a crime... what sort of action did he commit in a past life to be met with such misfortune? However, the only demon the exorcists met was Yasuko, as she stepped out to send them away. Obviously they were surprised by Yasuko's sudden appearance, but they did not believe her explanation that the boy was not the minotaur they were after.
It was not until the beast itself came crashing down that they believed her words. In one fell swoop, the beast came down and attacked the group, throwing them all back with the force of its swing. The massive creature was obviously quite powerful, and unlike some other minotaur it had quite a bit of intelligence. It mocked the group as it attacked them, talking about how it would take its bride and further populate its race. Their battle with the minotaur became a rather destructive one, obliterating Hayate's home and destroying the surrounding area. In the middle of the fight, Hayate was able to escape the rubble of their home, only to be met with an unimaginable sight. Yasuko.... she was on the ground. He moved over to her and nudged her, shook her, yet there was not a response. She was.... dead? She was clutching the kanabō that she had showed him mere days ago. She was... dead... Why... why did this have to happen? Hayate grief overtook him... his "mother" was dead... she was gone. Did this happen because that was just how it was? No... it was the demon in front of him... it was his fault. None of this would have happened if it had not cursed that girl, had never come to this mountain.
He wanted to help fight it... he wanted to beat it. It did not matter to him anymore, none of what happened afterwards mattered. If he had to accept it, fine, he would be a demon! The anger, the sadness, it all meshed together as he finally began to accept what he was, accept that he needed to be what he was. In that instant, the magic shattered, and his demonic power surged forth, his horns sprouting, his eyes turning red. His ears becoming pointed just like his grandfather's. He let out an agonized roar as his hands became clawed, and his power was finally awakened. The boy took his mother's kanabō in hand and, much to the surprise of the exorcists, came crashing into the minotaur, fighting with the creature in a brutal and destructive battle. Of course, the minotaur believed him to be some small fry at first... but the ferocity of the battle soon brought to light just how horrifyingly powerful the small oni before him was. And soon, the minotaur was overcome and exorcised by the boy, the teenager defeating it after a highly destructive battle. Once the minotaur was gone... Hayate simply dropped to his knees and sobbed. He cried and cried, until he was finally comforted by one of the exorcists.
After being calmed down, the exorcist took him back over to his destroyed home only for him to be greeted with a hug... from Yasuko? The woman had merely been badly beaten, having been tossed aside and forgotten by the minotaur. She had not been killed... but merely incapacitated. The relief and happiness he felt towards this was immense, and he found himself crying years of joy as he embraced the woman. However, the fact that an oni was living in the mountains was not the most acceptable thing either. The exorcist explained this to the two of them, and gave them a choice. They could either return to Gehenna, or Yasuko and Hayate could help the exorcists any way that they could. Yasuko, not wanting to return to Gehenna and possibly never see Hayate again, agreed reluctantly. She then urged Hayate to take up this chance to see the world around him and help them out, to which he also reluctantly agreed. With a sigh of relief, the exorcist put a hand on Hayate's shoulder and gave him a somewhat kind smile. A week later, the two of them were moved out of the mountain.
As it turned out, while Hayate may have accepted that he was a demon and come to terms with that part of himself, he did not wish to live as a demon, as was the requirement for the spell being destroyed. As such, the boy, once he calmed down, returned to a somewhat normal appearance, one that almost caused the exorcist that recruited him to leave without him. However, his appearance was similar enough to his former self that he was able to convince the man that he was Hayate. His blue eyes were now rather mean-looking and red, and his face had a rather serious attribute to it. Aside from the he was relatively the same, except his slightly pointed ears, due to his connection with Amaimon. With that little mishap out of the way, he got into the car and was driven to True Cross Academy, where he would learn to be an exorcist. As for the pink-haired girl, he has no clue what happened to her, having spent most of his time preparing to leave with the exorcists. And Yasuko was taken someplace else, but she seemed to be able to keep in contact with him through letters, ones sent through exorcists however. Now it is time for him to begin his new school life, without anyone to guide him, although, the exorcist in the car gave him some rather inspirational words and what he guessed was a cool nickname. RELATIVES:
Mother: Mai - Hayate doesn't have much of a past with his mother, nor does he really know her at all to be honest. The woman left him in the care of a Yoko named Yasuko Yamachi, to be protected by the woman until he was of a decent age to live on his own. Mai, herself, returned to Gehenna to live alongside her father as his heir. Needless to say, Hayate has conflicted feelings when faced with questions about his mother and what he thinks of her. A part of him wants to hate her for leaving him all alone with only a stranger to comfort him, while another part of him seeks her maternal affection. Growing up without his real mother affected him greatly, so it is hard to say what would happen should the two of them meet, but given his personality he would most likely seek acceptance from her rather than try to berate her or anything of the sort.
In another since he is sort of afraid of his mother, or more so finding out the reasons as to why he was abandoned by her. The greatest of these fears is that she did not care for him at all, a possibility that he could not bare if it were to be the truth. However, only she truly knows the real reasons behind her actions, and Hayate could never hope to guess as to why she would leave him behind. Her loyalty, her status, all of it is completely unknown to Hayate. Who even is his mother, and is she, by chance, watching over him or simply averting her eyes from her son? Father: Hakun Kirishima - Hayate's deceased father played a major role in how Hayate grew up, and even shaped Hayate to be who he is now. However, Hayate's relationship with the man is pretty much nonexistent given that he died before Hayate even had a chance to meet him, or at least remember meeting him. So most of what Hayate knows of him is from the words of others, namely Yasuko and a few people who wandered through the mountains and knew him. For the most part his feelings towards his father are purely based off of the words of other people, but deep down in his heart he feels that his father must have been a good man, to take care of his son for the last few years of Hakun's life and not just abandon Hayate like the boy's mother had. Even if someone were to tell him that his father was really cruel, there would always be a part of him that seems to know that Hakun had to have a gentle heart to raise Hayate, even for such a short period of time.
Given the lack of knowledge Hayate has of his father, he longs for a day to reach out to him and speak with him, even if it is merely calling up a spirit of some sort. He wants to learn from the man himself what kind of person his father was, rather than just basing it off of what friends of his father told him. After all, his father, unlike his mother, did not abandon him, and cared for him till the day Hakun died. Guardian: Yasuko Yamachi - Yasuko is possibly the closest person to Hayate, and is seen by him as more a mother than even Mai herself. She taught Hayate everything he knew about the world around him, and sheltered him from the cruelty that he would surely be assaulted with should he have left the mountain he was born in. A nurturing woman, she always held his hand as a child and led him everywhere he went, wiped away his tears when he thought about his real mother, and held him when he was terrified during the night. Their bond is about as close to that of a mother and child as it could be. It was Yasuko that kept his secret and protected him from the reality of what he was as well. Using her magic, she was capable of sealing away his demonic side, a task only able to be accomplished due to the fact that he was only half demon. She did this out of pure love for the boy, not wanting him to realize why she kept him from the rest of the world and why she was the only one who seemed to care for him.
Even after her magic was shattered and Hayate awakened to his heritage, the boy still cared for her deeply. He realized that she did what she did out of her affection for him, and not for any other reason. She, in a sense, is his true mother, the woman who raised him from the time he was a small child to now. And despite being so far apart now, he can still feel his bond with her is as strong as it ever was, maybe even stronger now that he knows the truth about what she did for him. Grandfather: Amaimon - Hayate's knowledge of Amaimon is very limited, even less than that of a Page. He is largely unaware of his relation to Amaimon and that the King of Earth is really his grandfather, but hearing the name "Amaimon" seems to cause his ears to perk up. It is as if his instincts knows his relationship with the man but his actual self does not have a clue. There is no anger, no hatred, in his reactions, just a sense of knowing that leaves him wondering why the name has such an effect on him. Whether or not Amaimon knows of Hayate is a mystery to the boy, but it is probably so, after all he is the man's grandson. There is a bit of concern about what may happen should the two ever meet, but nothing can be said until such an occurrence were to happen. (Any additions will be added if anyone wants to make siblings for him or if I'm required to place other characters as his relatives.) MY GOALS: Hayate does not really understand why he came to True Cross Academy, except that Yasuko wanted him to and so did the exorcist that he helped. He does not really have any goals... but one might say it could be that he just wants to help anyone any way that he can, and protecting others from demons does not seem like that bad an idea.

The world being what it is, a lot of people out there deserve to die, don’t they? MEISTER PRIMARY TYPE: Knight PRIMARY ABILITY: War God The ability War God is the special ability that only True Knights are given from birth. These Knights are those who have chosen to primarily fight as a Knight. The War God ability allows a Knight to turn an ordinary weapon into a Demon Weapon. The down side to this ability is that a Knight can only forge a single Demon Weapon their whole life time. If their weapon breaks they will need to find a Demon Weapon Smith to fix their weapon or they might be taken over by the Demonic Powers they sealed within their weapon. This ability is useful for every Knight mainly those who were unable to obtain a Demon Weapon through the approval process. Now to turn your weapon into a Demon Weapon your character will have to defeat a Demon in combat and take hold of their soul but cutting it in half. The soul will then be absorbed into the blade of the weapon granting the weapon the major ability of the Demon. Now remember you only get one chance to forge a Demon Weapon so rushing to forge a Demon Weapon against the first Demon you see is not very wise. But once you defeat a Demon and have absorbed their soul during the Rp you will send a message to the M.O.D in charge of Demon Weapons and you will tell them where you defeated the Demon and what demon it was. The mod will then give you further instructions on how to complete the process and make the transfer of power permanent.
WEAPON OF CHOICE: Edged Weapons
WEAPON NAME: N/A (He doesn't have a weapon yet.) TYPE OF WEAPON: N/A (He doesn't have a weapon yet. Although he prefers a katana.) WEAPON DESCRIPTION: N/A (He doesn't have a weapon yet.) WEAPON APPEARANCE: N/A (He doesn't have a weapon yet.)
MEISTER SECONDARY TYPE: Tamer SECONDARY ABILITY:Beast Charmer Unlike those who are born with the ability to summon demons from a different realm, there are some people who are born with the ability to speak to demons and create a life pact with them. These people are considered Tamers but only as a secondary art. They are unable to summon their familiar but their familiar acts more like a pet and can survive in the realm of the living as long as the Tamer is alive or holds their pact. That's what it means to have the ability of a Beast Charmer. To be able to create an flesh to spirit contract with a demon that will last a life time. The demon is bound to the Human world until the Tamer is killed.
FAMILIAR NAME: N/A (Has not attained his familiar yet.) FAMILIAR TYPE: N/A (Has not attained his familiar yet.) FAMILIAR DESCRIPTION: N/A (Has not attained his familiar yet.) EQUIPMENT: None
RUNES: None
EXPERTISE: Swordsmanship: Currently, Hayate's swordsmanship is severely lacking, mainly because he has never used a sword before. Having grown up protected by Yasuko in the mountains, Hayate never really needed to learn how to defend himself. As such, the ability to use a sword is purely reliant on his battle instincts rather than any real knowledge. It is not something that is a problem for most lower demons and such, but against fighters with knowledge of their own weapons or a sword as well, he is extremely inferior to them. Not to say that it would be impossible for him to get any better, after all he has zero knowledge and he is about to go to exorcist cram school, but right now he is heavily inferior to those around him and will probably just rely on punching and breaking stuff until he can learn to use a sword properly. (This expertise will be regularly updated as Hayate both gains a sword and learns to use it through practice with and without a mentor or teacher around.)
Indomitable Will: Hayate has an iron will that is unmatched, one that could not be broken no matter what is done to him or any of the people around him. His mind will remain intact under the direst of circumstances. Not to say he does not still feel pain or anger whenever the people close to him are maimed, killed, or even injured... but he would not go either berserk or insane due to something of the sort. He might be mopey or depressed once everything has been settled, but he will never be capable of being "broken" by something. Never giving up, an unyielding iron wall that will not break no matter how many times it is assaulted.
His indomitable will also pushes him to surpass himself, even if whatever he is doing seems impossible. Need to do an entire week's worth of homework in a night? Hayate will do that homework and never once think that he cannot finish it. To never give in and always push past one's limits, that is the general idea of Hayate's iron will. It is a type of mindset that allows him to break through his limits to accomplish tasks that others would cower and fail in the face of due to their lack of confidence. Harsh words, cruel attitudes, nothing can prevent him from accomplishing something.
Finally, Hayate's strength of heart and mind have one very interesting attribute. A demon cannot possess him, and they have a great difficulty influencing him slightly. His own existence would reject anything that went against his own ideas and beliefs. To try and change how he feels and help a demon, there would be no way for a demon to cause such a change of heart in him. Even if a demon got into his head, even slightly, his psyche would be constantly fighting with the demon to such an effect that it would be pointless to try and continue its attempt to influence him. His mind, just like the rest of him, is an iron wall that is nearly impossible to surmount.
Resilient Oni: Oni-Ni-Kanabō "Strong Beyond Strong": Hayate's heritage is not only that of an Oni, but one that is directly related to Amaimon himself. As such, he inherited his mother's greatest attribute and, quite simply, one of the very few abilities that Oni seem to have. Just as the name would suggest, an Oni is far stronger than average demons, even most high level demons. Not in magic of course, but in the physical sense. Their speed, mobility, power, and endurance are unmatched by any other being. Fighting an Oni is about the same as punching a mountain repeatedly and trying to break through it. Hits seem to not only have no effect, but even be repelled. Even the effect of weaponry seems to be greatly reduced when used against Oni, bullets merely pelting into their skin and leaving bruises while teeth fail to even break skin. Magic seems to have average effect against them, no reduction whatsoever, and swords have minimal effect, being able to leave cuts but being ineffective at lacerating. An Oni is much akin to a walking tank, almost any conventional weapon being ineffective against them and magic being the only useful weapon. However one can still wear down an Oni after much, much fighting. The only being capable of fighting, physically, on even terms with Oni, are other Oni. Very high level demons can fight them physically but it's the same as a boxer punching a body builder, their hits do something but not nearly as much as another body builder punching them.
Being extremely adept at fighting physically, Oni are capable of moving at great speed and maneuvering in such a way that few humans could possibly hope to keep up. Capable of accomplishing feats such as leaping from the ground to high buildings and covering vast distances in mere seconds, an Oni appears to be a relentless demon of battle that is both highly difficult to escape from and to dodge. Fights with other high level demons often end up at a large scale, taking them from running through forests to fighting midair and crashing through ground and buildings. Their physical prowess allows them to keep up with most enemies, the exception being flying enemies and only when they are too far away from high-level terrain. To an Oni, distance away from their opponent is usually meaningless. Their minds also keep up at the same speed as their movements, making their battles for more challenging for those wishing to fight them head on, without magic.
Strong beyond strong is not only a reference to how indestructible an Oni is, but their strength as well. A simple punch from an Oni is enough to cause craters and tear apart the ground. At first sight it would be clear to anyone that they possess physical strength that is far greater than any other demon. Not even mountains seem capable of standing against an Oni's strength, and fighting tends to leave areas devastated. Crashing through buildings and ripping apart the earth itself, and Oni is a frightening creature with unmatched strength. Just punching the ground can cause tremors. Not even magic barriers seem to be capable of repelling their physical strength. Being hit by an Oni is pretty much the equivalent of being punched by a mountain, and will likely cause severe damage to bones, muscle, and various other organs. The effects of their attacks vary from person to person, but an ordinary human would be crushed completely from a simply swat of the hand, and the average demon's bone could be crushed to dust from the stomp of their foot.
This immense well of strength is only further increased by the fact that Hayate is of such close lineage to Amaimon. His mother, Mai, is, in fact, the strongest Oni as of right now, which means he too is capable of becoming far stronger than other Oni. However, that would require practice and experience. Still, he shows strength that matches these terrifying beasts, which earned him his title. Even when his demonic power is not being displayed, he is still capable of performing feats that far outmatch humans and lower demons or ones that are not using their power like him, such as being able to knock down large trees or lift heavy boulders. And his defense is still far above a human's endurance when he is not in "demon mode."

A few notes. I have not read the entire profile, but here are a few things that need to be changed. The Princess of the Earth is Audrianna Black. She is the daughter of Amaimon. If you wish to use the Princess of the Earth (and in this guild that is the daughter of Amaimon) then you need the person's permission. Since Audrianna is my character, I am not giving you permission to use her in your history since she has already devoted enough to her own history. If you wish to keep the same story, then tweak it a bit. In this Guild the Prince/Princess of the earth is the son/daughter of Amaimon. Also, your character seems more suited to be a primary fighter type if he is known for his strength. Knights are more known for their swordsmanship and grace than strength and since Oni's are likened to trolls, a berserker or fighter would seem better. But that's just my opinion. If you're going to keep Knight as a primary class, then basing your character around his strength (like calling him the indestructible mountain) wouldn't make sense to his class type really.

I honestly didn't know anything about the other characters as I didn't really read anyone else's profiles at all really. And while it doesn't make much sense to me why Amaimon can't have more than one child, I respect your request and I'll change it immediately, it was getting slightly irritating trying to keep him within Amaimon's parameters anyway. ^^; And I knew someone was going to say that he was suited to be a fighter type, but that's not necessarily the case as Oni are more often known for using things such as clubs and kanabo, a type of blunt weapon which is more akin to knights, although he uses a katana. He's meant to be the kind of swordsman that overpowers another swordsman's strike and learn the grace thing later. I understand where you're coming from about the strength thing though, but I believe the contrast simply make him more interesting, no? He saw a sword and since he doesn't really know how to fight but simply cause destruction by thrashing about, he picked it up. ^^

He saw a sword and since he doesn't really know how to fight but simply cause destruction by thrashing about, he picked it up. ^^ To answer the question as to why Amaimon can't have more than one kid is because it is unlikely for the Demonic Kings to breed with more than one human. It's unlikely for them to breed with humans at all, except for the case of Satan. For the sake of the Guild, the Demon Kings in this story all have one child as it is unlikely for them to mate with more than human or have multiple children through the same human (as the human often dies during birth of a half-demon, though not always). The Demon Kings are not compassionate people to hold a lasting relationship with...well...anyone. Also, he needs to remain in Amaimon's demonology class, which means he still has those parameters. He's still in that class.
And the contrast doesn't really make him more interesting, it just makes him confusing. He can have demonic strength equal to what his demonic rank would be, but just know that if he is a C-class demon then an Upper First Class fighter can outmatch him in strength. I understand that in the lore related to Oni that they use clubs, but a sword is very different from a club. You can stay a primary Knight, but again, to center his whole self around his strength would not make sense to him being a primary Knight. Although Demons are stronger than humans, again, a C-rank demon who uses a sword cannot over power an Upper-class Knight. To incorporate so much of his strength in with him being a Knight and Tamer allows him to sort of be a Fighter, Knight, and a Tamer. If you want his strength to be his main source of power, he needs to be a fighter. If you want his swordsmanship to me his main source of power, he needs to be a Knight. Audrianna is an Apparition class and her main source of power is not from her demonic strength, but from her use of the elements. Does this make sense? To say he is a very strong fighter who overpowers people makes him sound like a fighter. If he is a Knight, his skills and his alias need to relate to that. Because he would be known for his swordsmanship and not necessarily his strength. Fighters and Beserkers are known for their strength. You could make his secondary type a fighter and his main type a Knight, and then the profile would relate more to his meister type. Exorcists are nicknamed and defined by their meister type.

And I say he's going to be exactly the same as he is now because I'm not going to have him learn to fight, I like his style of just thrashing about and punching without anything more than instinct behind it. He can't be a berserker because it's impossible for him to go mad. And I'm not going to make him a secondary fighter because I have no use for it, because as I said before he's not going to learn a fighting style and the tamer secondary ability is far better than the fighter's, I don't even think he'd ever use the fighter's secondary ability or if he'd even have it if I made him a secondary fighter. Honestly, I wanted to be a knight, an Oni with a sword, that's what I wanted. That's my reasoning. And an Oni with a sword, no matter how good he becomes with a sword, will only be known for his strength, regardless. That's just what an Oni is known for. Now, I'm going to make the necessary edits regarding Amaimon and everything, although it's probably going to take a while considering I'm very disheartened by the idea of having to read through my profile and edit every minute detail regarding Amaimon, but I'm going to keep his class things the same. And if I have to change his meister classes, then I'm going to change him completely and just start over. Because I refuse to have him tied to the fighter class.

Then you're going to have to scrap him then. If you want him to be a Knight, that's great. But you can't center him around his strength if he is a Knight and a Tamer. They don't have much physical strength. Good examples of demons inside their meister type would be Sion or Okabe if you need a reference. If you refuse to make changes, then this profile will have sit here unaccepted or be tossed out. What you want for your character does not make sense in the world of Blue Exorcist, which is what this Guild is about. I don't understand why you won't have him tied to a fighter. Being an Oni, a primary or secondary fighter would make more sense then being a Knight or a Tamer. The Knight I can kind of see, but an Oni being a Tamer does not make more sense than a fighter. I'm sorry that you refuse to listen to the Crew of this Guild, but unless changes are made to where the character actually fits the class you picked, it has to stay denied.

Exorcists are nicknamed and defined by their meister type.I already said I'd change the Amaimon thing. And I'm not going to make him a primary fighter because if I did then he'd be exactly the same as he is now just with that tagged onto his profile and without a weapon or the ability to use demon weapons. You asked why Amaimon couldn't have more than one kid, and I explained.
Then I'll get to work on making a new profile.
