A Legendary Ramen Bar of Legendary Ramen, who knew?

swiping the banners to the side Kit smiled as he entered the Raman shop. Sitting down in his favorite chair on the far left Kit smiled at the young girl taking orders. "Ill have my usual, And how is your father? he seems to be here less and less when I visit." The girl began to prepare the Miso with extra pork and beef as she explained that her father in his old age couldn't move the way he used to and thus took some time off to relax in the country side. "Well tell him he is missed and to send my regards." As Kit waited the girl dropped off a bottle of cherry blossom sake. Kit's favorite. Pouring a small cup Kit drank 2 before his food as ready. Setting the ramen in front of him Kit clasped his hands. "Thank you for the meal." Breaking his chop sticks Kit took the first bite and followed it with a small sip of Sake. "There is nothing like an original to make the day perfect."
Honjo moved in, and out, of the crowd as Ichiraku's Ramen was in sight. A pair of workers walked across Honjo's path carrying a stack of 16-foot timbers that were going to be apart of a building downtown. With little time to think Honjo nimbly ducked under the stack of timbers.Once reaching the other side he spun around to apologize to the workers, but more importantly see if Renzo was able to clear the last obstacle.
Renzo smiled as he followed Honjo into the Ramen Bar. The cook welcomed the two with a bright smile. Renzo smiled back and greeted them as well. When asked what he wanted Renzo ordered seafood Ramen, with extra shrimp. As he waited he turned to Honjo. "I can't wait to start missions, but...." He said as he started to trail off. "Honjo, on a mission stuck between life and death, your comrade is in the middle of attack and your target is getting away. Your target as information that could spark another ninja war, but pursuing him means your comrade dies. What would you do?" He asked as he started thinking about how unpredictable and harsh the ninja world could possible be.
Honjo grinned at Renzo as he hurdled the stack of lumber. Even though he lost he was still so daring. Upon winning the race Honjo was offered a free meal as he scratched the back of his head, "well if you insist." Honjo chuckled, knowing that he would have dibs on the next tab. As they made their way inside Honjo took a seat at the bar.

Kit noticed the two ninja walking in and slurped his ramen. Hearing the young ninjas question Kit waited. The answer was obvious, but everyone must find the answer themselves. There are no short cuts to greatness. As Kit finished his bowl he placed the chop stick over the top and bowed politely. Ordering another bottle of sake Kit poured a small amount into his cup and sipped it quietly.
Honjo waited his turn to order. He was very low maintenance, ordering the routine pork ramen, with an extra helping of bean sprouts, and bamboo shoots. After ordering he turned to Renzo, listening to his discussion. "Wow, that's tough." Honjo didn't really know how to answer; it was really a lose-lose situation. He pondered for only a moment. "To lose a friend...or an entire village. I really don't know...act on instinct I suppose, and stand by your decision." Only problem with Honjo's answer was that he really didn't know what his instincts would decide.
A girl enters the small ramen vender, her green skirt billowing lightly as she enters. Her blue eyes sparkle with delight, and she moves towards one of the seats, not really noting the others in the shop. A Leaf headband would be noticeable around her neck, although it was partially hidden by her blouse. Upon sitting, the girl waits for the server to come and take her order. After placing one, for a bowl of vegetable ramen, the blonde's eyes finally shift towards the rest of the stall's occupants.
There were a couple of boys she vaguely recognized, likely from her graduating class. Despite her pride at passing the exam, Raiken felt lonely. She'd been somewhat of a Queen Bee in the academy, with a bunch of girls at her beck and call. Outside of these few friends, the Uzumaki didn't socialize much. They dreamed of being on the same team, of being comrades.
Raiken's name was close to last, and she had to watch as one by one, her friends failed. She herself had barely passed. And now... When she tried to be with her friends, they ostracized her, envious of her graduation. Now, with the reputation of a bully, and without her friends, she was utterly alone.
Still... Maybe her friends were right. If... Ninjas and civilians really weren't supposed to be friends, then she should make some among ninja's.
Quietly, and almost reluctantly, she scooted one seat towards the pair of genin, speaking a small "Hello..."

Renzo's order had arrived and he had started to quietly eat as he listened to Honjo's, "Act on instinct, huh?" In truth Renzo wouldn't know how he'd act as well. Save one, kill many or vise verse. The decision was obvious but could one uphold that choice? "Whatever choice is made, I think the important part would be how you live with your decision." He said as he continued to eat and noted the man drinking sake afew seats away from the two. Renzo looked to his left from his peripherals and saw Raiken, someone she had previously met in the academy. He never had any real interactions with her but knew of her. "Raiken, Right? Nice to finally met you." He said with a smile. He wanted to get to know her as well, despite what he had heard.
Honjo slurped up a noodle from his bowl as he overheard Renzo talking to somebody. Wiping his mouth off with his forearm, Honjo then leaned forward to see over Renzo's head; it was Raiken. "Oh, hey Raiken. Looks like you graduated too." Honjo stated the obvious as she also sported her headband around her neck. Honjo always seemed to be a bit more oblivious around girls.
Raiken nodded. Alright, introductions went well. "Just, uh... Call me Rai, Dattoshiiru. I don't really like the name Raiken so much..." It was the truth. To her, it sounded manly... Probably because she was named after her father. She didn't know what they were thinking when they decided to name their daughter after her male parent.
The green fabric of her dress shifted as she settled into a more comfortable position on the stool. Just in time, too, the girl was given her bowl of noodles. For now, the girl let them sit, steam rising from the bowl. "... Why do they wanna burn my toungue, Dattoshiiru..." The girl was moreso talking to herself than not, but her attention returned to the pair soon enough. "So, um... What are your names...? I must've missed them in class..."
More like she'd been too busy talking to her friends and writing notes about the cutest boys in class to listen. Schoolwork had always come easy to her, so she never felt the need to pay attention, or study. Her 'friends' followed her example, without the natural talent she'd used to just scrape by.
It was strange, because she didn't feel stronger, or better... Or any different at all. It was like the same as before, except now she didn't have to go to school.
So... Hurrah for that, then?

As Kit sat l listening to the three ninja speak he felt nostalgic. Though he never went to the academy he just followed the Elder around everywhere he went. Ordering another bottle of cherry blossom sake. One his third bottle Kit decided to drink it slowly and ordered a small sub to curb the alchol. Smiling Kit saw that one of the kids noticed him slightly and Kit ducked his head down to avoid being scene. The kids were a little young but they would problly take notice of him if he tried to stand out. He wasn't done over hearing the young genin only 3 chairs away. He had read the profile on them already just like he did every year when the new ones graduated. But you don't really know someone. Until you hear them speak when they don't know your listening.

finished his final bottle of sake and turned to the three ninja sitting at the counter. "Alright, when you get done eating...." Kit removed his wallet and gave the women behind the count 5,000 ryo. Which was enough to cover all three genins meals and himself. "Meet at the Hokage's mountain. Its time to start your new job as ninja. Don't be late for your first briefing." With this Kit stood and walked to the door. Moving the banners from his face Kit stepped out of the bar and began walking towards the mountain.

Renzo chuckled when Honjo seemed to fall over his words. He turned back to Raiken when she spoke of just calling her Rai. "Rai, huh? Ok, cool. My name is Renzo Nagino." He said as he turned back to the man he glanced at before as he stood. He paid for the trios meal and told them to met him in the mountains. "Wonder what that was about but I say we should go." After saying that, He finished the rest of his noodles and waited for a reply from Honjo and Rai,
