For those of you who aren't familiar with tektek.org, there is a page that allows you to calculate your Gaia account worth, in gold.
A few weeks ago I checked it, and I just checked it again.
IT'S NOW 6 TIMES THE VALUE compared to a few weeks ago.
The inflation is through the roof! Chuchip's Blessing used to be 10-11 mil and now it's around 43 mil.
What do you guys think about it?

I remember when it was about 5mil. gonk Those items
that I've always thought were cute, like Chupin, are so
friggin expensive that it's not worth it. I give up trying to get them.
I'm beginning to think Gaia doesn't wanna fix inflation, that way it forces people
to buy cash for the items they want. But... That's just me ranting.
But, still. Ridiculous. Even items for, like, 499GC are nearly 10mil.

I agree.
Now, an item that is worth 1000 GC is worth 40 mil in gold.
There are plenty of great and simple ideas for gold sinks in the Site Feedback forum but Gaia doesn't seem to be listening.
I'm also thinking the same thing, because Gaia keeps on releasing RIGs.
Seriously.. Candy Hearts after Valentine's Day? That doesn't even make sense.
The inflation is causing the marketplace prices to go up and down like crazy.. it's just.. ugh.

Like, I'm done making dream avis....
They're more like, Never-to-be-obtained avis now. :/
x'D I'm one of those people who usually sells stuff to buy new stuff to make
an avi but with the inflation, I'm reusing everything. (Which isn't bad, it's just
new to me)
I really wish Gaia would stop focusing on selling and re-selling recolors of
items that no one wants and put their time into thinking of a way to figure out
how to get rid of inflation. Instead, they've stopped listening to member's
plights and set up an e-mail that they won't ever check.

I've decided to quest individual items, and will probably set up a thread where people could play around with my invo to make me new outfits. I'm trying to buy more things from the gold shops, and I've made really nice things. It's good to know that Gaia didn't totally forget about them.
Soon enough, every Cash Shop item out there will be recolored. Some recolors are nice, but they're losing the highlights and shadows that the originals had.
That's true. I sent an email a few days ago and still haven't heard a reply. On another site, I received a reply before the end of the day.
