Missions are assignments sent directly from the Vatican or request sent from civilians to carry out specific tasks. These missions can be anywhere from an actual threat to a simple rumor. Exorcist typically pick the missions they want to accept, but most of the time they are just assigned to go on missions based on availability. Remember, missions are used to rank up within True Cross and depending on the number of missions one has been on an the name they have gained for themselves the Order may allow you to progress without taking the required exam, as these scheduled exams tend to happen a few times a year.
Missions will be placed in this Subforum by title and state of urgency by number of stars. The higher the number of stars, the greater the challenge the mission will be. This thread will explain the types of challenges you will be bound to find on your mission. Information of specific enemies (demons or spirits) you may have to face will be placed in this section as well, although unless the Mission Information specifically says the name of the target or what you’re facing, you will be going into the mission blind without any information other than what the client gave the Vatican in order to request an Exorcist. Because of this, a high ranking Exorcist must go on missions with anyone under Lower 1st class. Missions should always be done in teams, accepting a mission alone is acceptable still but you will be looked at as cocky and the Vatican will not pay for your medical bills.
Another thing to note, is that each mission may come with specific or ‘special’ rewards, while others may not come with anything at all but some money or a gift card to some resort. Missions can be claimed by Exorcist Squad leaders and Advisers for teams while they are still in the Academy as students. Upon getting approved for the mission you will receive an email or a phone call from The Order, and it’s up to the person who requested the mission to tell you about the mission set out date and time along with figuring out transportation methods. The Order does not provide transportation, lodging, or food on assignments. Some clients may provide you with benefits for taking on their assignment.
