Make a single post as to your character's name and why they're going against the governments wishes to unmask them. Just so we know who's on this side and what not.

Ian's Anti-Gov because he believes his mask is not the only thing protecting his own everyday life, for he would be hounded by the press if he was to actually come out the Superhero closet and he wouldn't have a normal life again, but also the lives of those he holds dear.
His friends, his family. They all became targets when Ian got that ring and he refuses to put them in the line of fire.

Johnny is anti-gov. A naive teenager who hates an authority figure + a nasty background... going pro-gov isn't likely unless he'll be in a position of power which is very unlikely.

Arell is Anti-Government because he believes the government's corrupt. He was also raised up as a Libertarian . . . he'll support his country 'til his last breath, but he also has the firm belief of three things:
Of the People, By the People and For the People. While Arell himself lacks an alter ego, he is RELENTLESS in protecting his and his friends' rights.

Anya is Anti-Governmet.
Although she doesn't have family left, other than her friends, she feels that if the public knew, heroes families would be in much more danger. This is the reason behind the mask. Not to just protect the hero, but all of those who would wish to use the hero.
Secondly, Anya doesn't want to be blamed if something goes really wrong. She wants to be known as something other than the Blue Lantern.
Although she sees both sides, of the great debate, she would like to keep her job separate from her private life.

I am going anti-government with Marcel. There's nothing to benefit him and those around him if he was pro. Not even the government can stop the League.

Evie Sinclair would be anti-government, for numerous reasons. One, she hates the idea of being under someone else's command. She isn't one to take orders from some political pansy. Her first concern is the protection of the people, and the government would be too busy covering their a** if something goes wrong to worry about that. Not to mention that they wouldn't hesitate to throw the heroes under the bus if it would benefit them. She knows the importance of the mask, how it protects not only the wearer, but the wearer's friends and family as well. As such, she would openly defy the government.

I'm really sorry Peri but I think you're allowing your own OC views of politicians affect your character which, I'm sorry to say, I do not buy being on the Anti-Government side. There has been nothing in RP to support half this stuff you claim and even in her profile it would make more sense for her to be a part of the Pro-Government Agenda with Johnathon. What's more, is that as the paragon of honour and virtue and by all intents and purposes: The Law. Why would Evie stand against Law making bodies and effectively make herself a villain. We also do not know what the Governments plan of action is with the heroes, so to say: "They will throw them under the bus, is a little premature." If you believe me to be wrong, message me or something but I think if you took a step back you would probably agree with me.

It's gettin' intense in these lobbies; I like it emotion_awesome Anyway, here I go with Taliana's reason for siding with the Anti-crew. Taliana is a naturally rebellious spirit, so she would not want to be taking orders from someone, essentially placing her under their control. Taliana has her own way of doing things, as exhibited multiple times in her dealings with crime/villains, and her methods would not be considered lawful. She'd rather kill a rapist instead of sending him to jail only for him to be released upon the completion of his sentence. What's to stop killers from murdering someone again?! What's to stop an malicious thief from stealing again?! The Nightingale wants to put a stop to violence in an effective manner that the government simply can't. She is the judge, jury, and executioner.

Sasska is anti-government for the same reason she exists. She was rebuilt and to a degree, programmed to hasten the demise of humanity. While this is irrelevant to the nature of the original poll and the meanings behind pro and anti government stances, it orients her closer towards the anti-government stance than it would the pro-government stance.
It matters not whether the identity of the villain is publicly known or not or whether the individual is masked or not. The reason I align Sasska with the anti-government position is that by logic standards, having humanity torn against itself makes her job of eradication that much easier after both sides have worn themselves down.
There, I posted. Anyone notices this, feel free to let me know you did on the chat.

Damian Prince (Wonder Boy), is going Anti-Government....
While I'd prefer for Atlantis to not fight Themyscira, if it comes to it, so be it.
But, back to the topic at hand. Being a symbol of truth, justice, etc., Damian would not exactly feel the need to work with the government, having given his word to protect those who could not protect themselves. If they could not trust him enough to operate on his own, what would guarantee that they could trust him when he worked for them? So, to avoid being constantly watched at all times due to a possible lack of trust, Damian is going Anti-Government. And now, a word from the others:
"If Man's World wishes for war, the Amazons shall deliver!"

Besides, our characters are outlaws . . . we chose wisely. biggrin

Anti-Government.
Like his father, Superboy is juggling two identities. While it may be a pain living double lives, he likes having a normal home to go back to at the end of the day. If he were to "un-mask" himself for the government, then his two lives would just be one big mess filled with government officials trailing or watching him at all times. Being just like his father, in their need to protect the weak, Superboy is going to do so without a word. But unlike his father, who once got arrested just to show that he would not fight back, Mike-El is not going to adhere to the government's demands of unmasking. He will however continue protecting them as best as he can whether they like it or not.
Also, like Ian, Mike-El would not put the lives of those close to him on the line by revealing his identity to the world.

As time goes by and we grow older ...
Darius will be going Anti-Gov't his predecessors spent years pretending to be clumsy but brilliant detectives, when in all actuality they were one of the world's greatest heroes. He understands that he did that to protect not only their identity but the people behind their identity. He couldn't stand to see his grandmother be hurt by some villain that may have it out for him, let's also not forget he's a stoner, stoners and authorities don't really work well now do they xDD. Also a Hero registration act would allow the Gov't insight to too much of the Hero agenda, and means of tracking those heroes who may not want to be found. Darius is a loose cannon and a free spirit, to hell with the gov't registration.
the world brings us closer...
