Personality: Marionette has a dark sense of humor. She also has a low tolerance for idiocy and men. Although it seems as though nothing scares her or can break her, she hides behind a mask she has made for herself. Mari is cynical and will take the lead, if given a moment's chance. She is in constant battle over leadership, especially with the men.
History:
Verona was born to a wealthy family who gave her everything she could possibly want. Icluding a maid that would take care of her, instead of her mother and a butler who would take her to events, instead of her father.
Her parent's marriage ended in a nasty divorce, where sweet little Verona decided to join the darker side of life. She went to live with her mother, who barely knew her to begin with. They still had a comfortable life, while Verona changed her style and began to hang out with the wrong crowd. Her mother spent the last of their money on drugs and booze. When the money ran out, Verona was what her mother used to barter from the age of 13 until Verona ran away at 16.
Verona grew to despise men. She hated people in general, other than the maid and servants who had been her friends and family for so long. She went to live with her father, until her powers manifested. Her father owned several suits of armor, that stood in the hallway. One night, her mother returned for Verona, unannounced, with two friends that she had bartered with. Verona wished that someone would protect her, as her father was away..again. The suits of armor came to life and to her aid.
One of the servants saw this all take place and contacted Professor Xavier. Verona was sent to Xavier's school, but left after just a year. She couldn't understand why Xavier would take the side of humans. The same ones, she thought, who hurt her.
After three years of living on her own, and stealing, she was asked to join the Brotherhood. She has been there for a while now, though she wonders when her time will run out, with them.

Powers and Personal Weaknesses
Powers: Animation: can bring inanimate object to life or free someone from petrification. She can create as many animations as need be, but she can only make them do one thing at a time. Dead things don't tend to listen well. She can also multitask, once her animations have come to life.
Weaknesses: Other than being able to bring mall dummies to life and aid her in battle, she is pretty much human with the same weaknesses as the next guy.
