DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: The most outstanding features you can see on David are his visual implants on his face and his robotic appendages. David is a calculating man. He is often looking for the fastest most effective way to reach his goal. He prefers a more thoughtful approach to a situation than an emotional. While a man of war, David rather talk down his enemies than to dispatch them. On a mission with weapons free conditions, David goes to a place where everything becomes a target and there is no chance to reason with him if you are holding a weapon in your hands. As unmerciful as David might seem, he has a soft spot for children and how innocent and unknowing of the world they are. A smile is hard to find on David's face. There aren't many elements of happiness in his life since he has filled them with work and training.
Nostalgic is sometimes becoming of David, but he often fights to keep himself from looking to his past. He is often deep in thought of something or other and might seem aloof when in company of others which is why he never gains any accomplices that aren't work related. Because of his metaphysical state, David might be in some degree of self pity and is often reminded of this by the physical pain that is a side effect of his implants and prostheses. This distances him from others unlike him and creates a wall of sorts that most can't get through.

MY HISTORY: David was born in Detroit, Michigan where he grew up. His father was a police officer and his mother stayed at home. He has a younger brother, Aaron and sister Laura. David grew up trying to mimick his father and follow in his footsteps until the fated attack on New York that sprung a war on the middle east. David was filled with patriotism and ideas of glory and with mediocre grades in school, David had made up his mind on joining the army before he even finished High School. He was shipped off to Basic Training his last year of high school and after he graduated, he went on to Advanced Individual Training to become a communications specialist. He was stationed in Kuwait for a year before he placed an application for Special Forces. After going through their selection course, he was selected and was placed into training at the age of nineteen years old. Going in and out of conflict zones was a common thing for David and often left him little room for any kind of personal life but after earning enough days of leave, he took two months off and went back home to Detroit. It was there that he met an old friend from middle school who at the time David had a crush on. Her name was Anna Rourke, or Annie as he called her. They saw each other often during those two months. Returning for duty was harder than than any other time and being in combat was a new experience to him now that he had someone he had left behind. On his third year, David had asked Anne to marry him and they were married in Japan where she had gone to see him. David was married at the age of 22, Anne at 23. They had a child together a year later, his son named Zachariah.
One mission, in some third world village off the coast of Somalia, David and his team of Green Berets were inserted for reasons confidential. The mission was supposed to be a quick snatch and grab with a total run time of thirty minutes, ten for insertion and ten for exfiltration. A fault in intelligence hid the fact that they were outnumbered with odds of 25 to 1. There was a firefight that lasted four hours with air and sea support. During the conflict, David's team was pinned down in supermarket. There was a rogue grenade that had been thrown in teh middle of where the team had dug down and David was the first to see it. There was no thought, or doubt as David jumped on the grenade. Only images of Anna and the ten moth old Zachariah filled David's mind as he waited for the grenade to blow.
The next thing David could recall was waking up in a hospital bed, connected to all kinds of monitoring devices. There was a burning pain that came from his aching limbs but he could not move anything below his neck. He couldn't see his body and so he became frustrated and alerted the attendants. A development head had come in to see him and explained that he had been torn open and dismembered. When he had been ready to be given up to be taken home, government officials made a few buys and pulled David's corpse. He would be the first to be implanted and extensively rebuilt using Umbrella's biomechatronic's new department and developments. David would be their first human trial although he was reassured that the systems had been tested and refined. The downside was the aching that came from glial tissue buildup between the organic and mechanical parts which required regular doses of painkillers and a drug called Neuroprozyne that targets centers in the brain and prevents the body from rejecting the implants. David had received a reconstruction of his body cavity including a new heart, liver, most of his internal organs and lungs equipped with a Hepa filtering system that is able to filter harmful particles in the air, occular inserts that when activated, shield David's eyes and also provide biological data on his surroundings. These eye augmentations take the appearance of sunglasses and provide primary ballistic shielding and night vision. They can be retracted into the cranium when not in use. Davids most functional implants were his prostheses of the arms and legs. Outfitted with 1000 Denier layers that insulate and resist the transfer of heat cover the artificial muscles. Coupled with the user's Qi, these implants grant the host with superhuman strength and speed and ability to withstand trauma. These and a few other augmentations, of course, rely on a power source all too natural known as Qi. The augmentations, whether they be immediately practical or not require a an electrical charge which is converted through a system developed and pioneered through Umbrella laboratories which has succeeded in tapping into the body's natural Qi source and harnessing the power to fuel biomechanical devices.
Learning of what he had lost, David felt panicked. He wanted to seek his family and find refuge but he was informed that he had been announced as KIA and that his family had already mourned him. That had taken place one year ago. Apparently, David had physically been rebuilt but his human mind was still in a coma and they didn't know when he was going to come to. Sympathetic, Umbrella gave him a few days to recuperate after David refused to stay for examination and testing. He went back to Detroit but as he neared his home, he wondered if he would be accepted after he what he had been become. What he had found was an unfamiliar vehicle in the driveway as he came around the corner and saw another man holding his wife with his son, seeing the man away to work in the morning. David was devastated and looked to drown himself in liquor but no matter how many shots his took, he would never slip away into bliss.
Eventually, David returned to Umbrella Headquarters and was given a debriefing along with a testing regimen. After a few months of trials and tuning, David was given orders and a team to operate under in the Security Service. To the day, David puts his mind on his work and leaves everything else behind him. He would never return to his family and ruin what happiness they had fought to regain after losing him and what was more, he would never be the man he was before. The inner conflict of knowing his family as alive and well but not being with them often made him ask himself if he should have died that day. "I never asked for this."
RELATIVES: Parents and Siblings are estranged and there is no contact between them. They all think he is dead.
MY GOALS: Find meaning in his new existence and find the answer to the question: "Will I ever feel human again?"

DESCRIPTION: The Praxis WASS (Weaponized Augmented Soldier System) is what give David his life, and most of his body, back. Through an outlined biomechatronic system that Umbrella developed to harness Qi energy, David is able to tap into several implanted devices throughout his body that no human would ever dream of accomplishing on his own. The most passive of these augmentations are the brain implants which allow David to think like a multi processing computer and thus be able to hack into computer systems with ease. The the implant is a biochip which not only converts electrical data but allows a more effective flow of electrical pulses between the sections of the brain resulting in a better mind with examples in finer senses and thinking processes. His arm and leg prostheses for all four limbs are made up of a resilient metal alloy structure with artificial muscle covered in 1000 Denier and layer Teflon for insulation and resistance against heat of up to 1300 Degrees Farenheit. They provide more than human strength and when in full capability, they match the strongest of demons. His technological skills as well as he bodily coordination have become more effective through these implants and allow for David's new brain to communicate and command the new systems in the body which include vision, strength and breathing augmentations. It is also a substitute for a trained approach to Qi control allowing practically anyone with the money to control Qi without years of training at the cost of part of their humanity.

DESCRIPTION: The sunglass-esque augmentations over David's eyes allow for Ballistic shielding from a caliber as high as 7.62 Nato rounds. They are light sensitive and if activated, communicate with the brains occular portion which feed biological data only to include heartbeat, surface temperature and humidity. They can also switch to nightvision like a common video camera but capable of providing an image even with a cloudy, moonless night. Requires 50 Qi per post that is active.

DESCRIPTION: Through a mechanical feature of filtering in the tubes of the lungs, toxic and chemical gases that enter David's lungs are filtered and ran through to the liver which processes toxins and chemical to include alcohol that would harm David or incapacitate him. While the liver system runs of a trickle charge lower than the rate of Qi generation, it does not take up any Qi but the filter's line to the liver requires a constant charge of Qi to keep up with David's rate of breath as long as it detects the gas or powder. Once the gas is no longer detected, it shuts off the filters. It requires an amount of 50 Qi per post of being exposed then another 100 Qi every post after 5 posts to prioritize the liver's processing capabilities.
TRUE FORM NAME:00-151-05 ADOC (Active Dermal Organ Camoflauge)
DESCRIPTION:When David had taken a dive onto that grenade, he had suffered extensive burns to his dermal layers and had to be carved away. In place of these were placed a synthetic hybrid of skin made up of two parts very much like human skin. The top layer is made up of a clear and invisible waterproof material soft to the touch like silicone but with the resistance of Goretech. Underneath this layer is an active layer that is made up of Chromatophores which are micro-layers of color pigments. These pigments are triggered by neurotransmitters control by the biochip implant in the brain. Once activated, this camoflauge system adheres to the immediate environment, mirroring it and practically makes the user invisible and blend into his environment. The downside of this is that it does not hide thermal signatures. It requires a Qi charge of 100 to activate for 5 posts after that it requires an additional 100 to reactivate.
